Worst service ever
December 15, 2021

I received a called from someone in yelp to help me set up the information on my new business. I was very clear to her I did not want to spend any money on adds since I am a small business. She told me that she only needed my card info to keep in on file but they were not charging me anything. One month later I get a charge of 870 dollars. I had no idea they were running adds and I never approved the payment. I called to complain, nobody can help me. They wont give me a refund. They said they sent and email and just with that email there was an agreement. I just feel I was played and they are fraud. Don't fall with their tricks.

Yelp saleswoman, Ashley Reyes, sold my small RE biz a Yelp ad campaign and said the phone would ring. After a month and $650+ the only calls were from Yelp competitors trying to sell us more advertising. The 'credit' she promised never materialized. They completely max out your ad budget each month and add junk fees. See pictures. The topper is charging $29 per click! Of course the support rep says 'it's priced like gas and varies'. That's convenient. You are better off burning your money. Yelp is a complete rip off.

Magal.com Jewelry Unfair

I received several email offers from Magal.com and finally decided to try one of their bracelets. When it arrived, it was substantially smaller than expected and cheap looking. THEY DENIED ME RETURNING IT! Why? Because I bought it on sale! Ridiculous! Do not buy from them! Products are awful and can't return if bought on sale. Such an unexpected policy in this day and age.

Barged for Nothing

I've paid Yelp over 1200 dollars and received absolutely nothing. Customers that I did work for reviewed us on their site and they removed them. Because these customers were new to the Yelp Platform, Yelp disregards them. Their job finder did not generate one single job, nor did there advertising. I received on phone call for over 1200 dollars.

SCAM

I open a free account, same day I received a call from customer service saying that they were going to give an $800 credit. I only needed to put my credit card info in case I wanted to upgrade for any other product and that I was not going to get charge for anything over the $800 and that I could cancel anytime. A week later I am getting charge $168. Their excuse was that I passed the $800 credit.

Restaurant service

I was at bww after work to meet up with friends and go to the bar only about 12 ppl there at bar it took 20 minutes to get a drink order in and 10 more minutes to put food order in should not take that long with only a few ppl at the bar this will be my last trip here to this place very slow service here on a slow day.

The LSO driver tried to steal my package. He took a picture for proof of delivery and was taking my package back to his car. Call the customers to make a complaint, I got transferred 3 times and was on hold for an hour and half then they hung up on me. WORST DELIVERY COMPANY EVER. They claim to have lost another package of mine.

NO SERVICE FROM YELP

In May 2021, I met with an Elite Account Executive for Yelp Paula Madafferi. We spoke about my restaurant Island Eats located in Brooklyn, New York and what YELP could provide in terms of exposure. Well just going through my bank statements in October, I was so surprised to see that since May 2021, YELP has been withdrawing an amount over $600.00 per month from my account without sending an advice or email to me advising what this amount covers. I did not approve these withdrawals and so I wrote to the CEO of YELP requesting that I be refunded only to be told by a local rep that I am not due a refund. I was never sent a proposal as to the cost of what would be provided by YELP as in conversation with the New York Rep, i realize that YELP did not even have my correct email address. I will be taking this further as I had absolutely no conversation with them regarding payment of over $600 per month. YELP provided nothing tangible, yet they continued to withdraw funds from my account! Beware of YELP...

Terrible customer service

We recently moved our location and we have been trying to update our information on the internet. We logged into our account to change the address but could not update so I called to ask customer service to update the correct information. They refused unless we had our address on our website. They refused to update the information for MY business. I then requested them to delete my account. They refused. Yelp could be one of the top ten worst companies in the country. Their advertising is a scam and their customer service is rude and useless. Avoid at all costs.

Choice home warranty
November 14, 2021

Choice home warranty stated i will only have to pay the $40.00 co pay for any needed service. They do not tell how many needed services are not covered. Nor do they tell you there is a limit to the amount they will pay. I recently had to pay $190.00 because they claim i reached the limit. If i waited 6 weeks, it would have been fixed for 0.00. It was under warranty from the contractor. They also do not tell you that if you cancel in mid contract they deduct what has already been paid for prior services. From your refund.

Staples, Lenovo and Asurion won't honor warranties
November 10, 2021

April 13,2021 I purchased a new Lenovo ideacentre computer with am extended warranty for $907.76. This computer quit working on October 22,2021 and despite repeated attempts to get Staples, Lenovo or Asurion to honor the inherent warranty or extended warranty that i purchased. I would not enoucrage anyone to buy any lenovo product if they expect ANY tech support.

What a joke!

Typically I used Yelp to locate great "finds" when traveling... but I've come across questionable reviews lately, like HOW can someone from UT be yelping about a place in Tacoma, WA? And yet only one review in Tacoma, however several in UT? Something doesn't add up. Better yet, looking at the reviews that didn't make the "Yelp cut" are actually ok, but somehow not ok per Yelp? Used to think this was an up an up biz... sadly, I feel for the owners of small biz that have these fraudsters writing poor reviews.

I wrote a very honest review about Alta Vista Florist in Ottawa. Obviously not good! Owner rebutted with lies, attacking me and displaying very personal information about me and where I lived. So incredibly unprofessional but Yelp allows this. In other words few will leave their reviews up. Meanwhile owner gets all her family to put up 5 star reviews that stay, making her business look unfairly good. Cost myself and others a lot of wasted money.

Freedom Solar panels
November 5, 2021

I had installed twenty five panels on my home eleven weeks ago. They are still not turned on or working. Freedom will not response to thirty two emails. No one will help me after investing $44,000 on the panels. Oncor is the one who can turn on the panels. Freedom has not reached out to Oncor to get them turned on. Eleven weeks and still no solar panels working. So upset with Freedom Solar for not helping me in this matter. Upset over no one will respond to my emails or phone calls. The salesperson quit, because he was never paid on nine different jobs. My job is complete, but Oncor is the one to turn on the panels, so the sales person can get paid. So sad that a family man had to go find a new job, because he was never paid after four months. He stayed longer than I would have.

California Solar Program

I signed up for a solar progam with Sonnova Solar about four years ago. The initial plan was excellent, but in the third year they claimed they had to revise the contract as stated within it. I hesitated to sign the revised contract and Sonnova said if I didn't sign they would cut off the power. I signed. Two years later I am paying Sonnova $98 per month, but paying Edison $1500 last year because I had no left over power for them to acqiuire. Sonnova reduced their monthly cost, but neglected to tell us because of their annual kWh reduction our bill with Edison would climb each year almost double. Currently, I am looking at within five years I will be paying Edison over $5000 dollars in addition to paying sonnova $98 per month. If anyone else has experience this with their solar company please contact me. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the CA Energy Commission. What a scam. It looks like around the end of the lease I will be paying Edison over $20,000.00 annually and still paying Sonnova $98.00 per month.

The real solution that Sonnova should have done was to increase the number of panels to meet their initial commitment of annual kWh. Instead what they did was decrease thier intial contract commitment over 1200 kWh annually which caused Edison to charge for a lack of power generated by the solar and eliminated the net generating to zero or negative net generating. Keep in mind that the only way solar is effective to the home owner is if Edison pays the home owner the residual power that was generated by the solar and not utilized by the home owner.

Yelp is Terrible!

Just watched the documentary Billion Dollar Bully about Yelp, WOW all makes sense now. Very informative, I suggest other businesses that have had a problem with Yelp watch this documentary.

Keto pills ordered over the internet as shown on multiple sights. Product was returned unopened, as not the product described, on July 15,2021 with tracking numbers. Was promised a full refund every single month starting on 8/4/21,9/9/21,10/4/21, and again 11/2/21. Today was told that it is the finance department, so I contacted them at *******@tccsuccess.com. Do not do business with them they are very unreputable.
