My Acer laptop slid down a chair and crashed on the edge, leaving the LCD screen unusable. I had just bought this computer and was pretty upset. I already knew that having a computer repair shop replace this screen was around $200. My friend just had one replaced. On the other hand, I had absolutely no idea how to dissassemble the computer myself. So I went On-line, and found Laptopscreen.com- they had at least 6 coices of screens that would fit my computer, but more importantly, an installation video that shows you exactly how to replace the screen!. I had narrowed the screen type down to 2, but still wasn't totally sure which screen to purchase. So I used their video ahead of time to dissassemble my screen to take a closer look at the LCD. This allowed me to look at the screen and match EXACTLY the picture on the website (another great tool). I ordered the screen, feeling fairly confident that I had ordered the right one. I received it the very same week. The screen was an exact match as the broken one. I installed the new screen in the exact manner that I removed the old one. Hey guys... I have a Dell laptop and ordered the screen because I cracked mine when the laptop slid under my recliner. I ordered my screen and even had it delivered really quick like for under $75... Then When it came it I installed it all by my self... It was really easy and should I break my screen again, then I will be able to order another quickly...

BTW... Dells are user friendly when it comes to changing parts out... I am an airhead when it comes to computer change outs but I did this one myself... YEA ME!

I needed a screen for my Sony Vaio (for the second time). I had previously purchased one on EBay but when I went back to the original site, they were asking $499.00! Yes, $499.00. There was no way that I was going to buy a screen for that dollar amount. I did a Google search and found this site. I was a bit skeptical with all of the negative reviews. My experience was nothing but positive. The screen was exactly what I needed. I made sure the specs matched and ordered. I used my PayPal account and literally two hours later I received an email with a tracking number. It arrived two days later by FedEx. Ordered ipad2 screen on a hunch I might be able to replace the screen. Received the product within a couple of days, payment was easy. Only thing I didn't like was having to register with their website. Guess that was a good idea, screen worked great! Until my middle son dropped it and cracked it, so I'm ordering another now. Lesson learned, no more Ipad's for kids. Very easy experience and product worked great! But could use some type of instructions... none included.

I had accidentally cracked the screen on my 16.5 inch Sony VAIO. After researching many sites, and repair centers.
