Regrettably, it's unfortunate to note that Worx has been engaging in deceptive practices by promoting their trimmer accessories as free for life. However, when customers attempt to order these accessories, they discover that they are required to pay exorbitant amounts for shipping and taxes, which often surpasses the cost of purchasing the same accessories at a lower price on Amazon or obtaining a greater quantity for the same price. This specifically pertains to the trimmer spools that are purportedly provided free for life.

Bought a 56v combo blower trimmer package for daughters new house. Both batteries no longer work after 3 years. No replacement available, very expensive disposable product. Won't buy again because of it.

Wish I would have hit this site before making my purchase... bought a Work battery powered mower and this looks to be one of the worst investments of my life. Front wheel fell off after 3-4 uses... axel cap gone missing and have been trying to jury rig methods to keep the wheel om since. Batteries (20v) don't hold a charge long enough to finish either back or front lawn (I do not have a large yard)... and getting two additional batteries (to have charging while other two are in use) looks to cost more than the entire mower cost when first purchased. And have only owned for several months, but rubber padding on push handle is already peeling off (understand this isn't such a big deal, but if it keeps eben one other person from wasting their money on a Worx mower then it's worth adding).

My Worx 20v cordless trimmer works pretty well, however their cord wheels are constantly jamming. I have yet to use an entire reel of trimmer cord without experiencing at least one jam. It is very frustrating and time consuming to correct. For this reason, i would not recommend this product.

Bought our first Worx tool years ago. Trimmer. Stills works like a charm. It uses the old style 32V battery which we bought two of because our yard is huge. Does a great job and is not noisy like so many others. We also use it to edge the driveway.

Bought a hedge trimmer which we use and have had no problems.

Bought the Power sprayer which is nicely portable. I even bring it into the house to clean the window sills of our home.

Bought the poll saw which is fantastic. Unbelievable how it has cut through 4 inch branches. I had to use customer service to figure out how to get extra chains. Buying them seemed a little confusing.

I just bought their cube vac. The suction is wonderful. It has two different speeds.

It's a shame that people aren't happy. These are great products.

I placed an order on June 9 (late, so say June 10) and today is June 22 and still not even an expected delivery date. The package is coming FedEx according to the shipping info but it was stuck in Concord, NC for half a week and now has been in Indianapolis for at least 3 days (still there). Worx needs to send small packages by snail mail. At least it would GET there in a few days. And the price? Over $10 for a one pound item? If gas prices weren't so high, I could have driven to Concord, NC and picked up the package myself and had it 11 days ago!

Planned obsolescence! What do you do with a good set of power tools that batteries are no longer available? Do I buy the same brand that's leaving me "high and dry" due to corporate GREED? Did GM learn a lesson about marketing throw away cars e.g. Vega? I owned one, sorry to say! How can you tell if a company is GREEDY from the get-go? Do research on websites like this. DO NOT BUY WORX! Because without batteries, it WON'T WORX! Experience with battery operated power anything tells me that battery life and future availability is just as important as the quality of the tool! Batteries wear out long before tools wear out, if you buy quality tools. SHAME ON WORX! BAD BUSINESS DECISION! 1st set of battery operated was Ryobi. I can still get battery replacements after 20 years!

The Worx weed whacker isn't bad for a battery-operated tool. But buyers are supposed to get free refill string spools for life. So I try to order some and the first thing that happens is they refuse to send me a password reset (I've forgotten it during the year or so I've had the tool.) They DO send me marketing emails. Then, they tell me I can order the free spools without logging in. Great. But the cheapest postage for these "free" spools is $10 for six of them (they probably weigh less than a couple of ounces each.) And you can't order more than 6 without paying the full $10 for every six spools. So the company is deliberately misleading customers. "FREE" spools? Not on your life.

Return
April 29, 2022

I returned a blower within their timeline and never got credited for my purchase/return... It was during the time when they had the major floods... but that shouldn't excuse them since they resumed operations/sales to full speed.

I bought a new WORX mover and it was delivered on March 25,2022.
I needed a new blade and made an order on May 24,2022.
My credit card was charged on May 24,2022.
I have called for times to WORX Customer Service (6/22,6/27,6/28 and 7/26.
Every call came with the same reply - "It is out of stock, on back order, not in our warehouse," etc.).
I recommend you buy from a different company.
This company is a mess.

We are on our 2nd and last Worx trimmer.(not a year old) We are supposed to get free string for life lol shipping for 2 tiny spools is 9.00. The string cap broke off and it cost 12.00 to replace. Our first trimmer was about 10 years old, string cap still intact. Customer service says yeah we don't cover and replacement part no matter how old it is. I'm so disappointed in this lastest trimmer it is not as sturdy as when they first come out. I do not recommend this product.

We own three Worx tools with 32v batteries. We bought them from Worx website, plus bought 2 tools for gifts. Now Worx discontinued the 32v battery, so if ours no longer work, we are screwed. We'll have three pricey USELESS tools, and Worx doesn't care. I would not buy anymore tools because this will happen later with their 20v or 40v batteries. Changed my opinion of this company. They suck.

Avoid WORX Disposable Lawn Mowers
October 10, 2022

I have a small lawn and cut about 20 times per season/year. I purchased the WG775. Charged battery per instructions via solar panels which power my house and charge my car battery. Battery WA3216 life dwindled in a couple of years. I can cut for about 5 minutes before recharging the battery. I went to replace the battery and manufacturer told me they have discontinued the battery and there is no replacement for it so that entire lawn mower is worthless. When I asked the customer service representative to confirm that WORX produces "disposable lawn mowers", he hung up quickly. Back to using my 20-YO electric Lawn Boy (given to me recently by my 90YO neighbor) or the 40-YO Sensation with BS Engine I'm thrilled I kept.

12 year customer
November 5, 2023

July 3,2023; I placed and order with WORX as I had done many times before, used card to pay online. Oder when received was for cheaper item so I had a hard time in returning the entire order, trying to talk to live person or text. When I did finally get live person after several days, and they sent me return label.back by Fed Ex. After several weeks no return of funds to card and unable to contact anyone at this company; I filed complaint with card company and they sent forms saying they investigated it and WOEX denied receiving the return merch. Had print out of someone at their company signing for the merch. And still out $180. They must be on hard times and failing company to pull this kind of trick, after 12 yrs of buying from them, NEVER NO MORE. BUYER Beware

I bought a 14" electric chainsaw a few weeks ago. On the plus side, it does work pretty well from a cutting standpoint. Surprisingly powerful and a good alternative to a petrol saw when you are working close to the house.
Unfortunately, the downside is it leaks bar oil like a sieve.
I did read a few reviews that noted leaking bar oil but it wasn't all that many so I figured I'd take a chance.
But it didn't work.
It leaks bar oil really badly, more than I've ever seen anything leak oil before.
Absolutely if I had known this was going to be the case then I would not have bought it.
The attached photo is the saw sitting on a oil drip pan, I can not leave the saw on any surface. The amount may not look like a lot but it's from the cold saw just sitting and dripping. When it's actually running the amount is a great deal more, it goes all over the floor and will get onto whatever you are wearing.
So, if you can get one that doesn't leak then it's going to be great, the issue as far as I can see however if you have no way of knowing in advance.
I would recommend you consider other saws under the circumstances.

I own a lot of Worx products and have always been very happy with them. So, I decided to buy the Intellicut 40V mower. I am so disappointed with it. It is the worst mower to maneuver that I have ever owned. I also have to change the batteries midway through, and I have a very small city, single lot. Would NEVER recommend this mower to anyone!

Don't buy Worx mowers!
June 18, 2021

Don't buy Worx mowers! It's the worst device I've ever bought.
It broke down before the warranty period expired, and the company only procrastinated without intending to fix the problem.
Their service company LetMeRepair GmbH returned my mower back in much worse condition than before. Total disaster. I spent many months in conversation without success.

Bought this elec chain saw from Lowe's to help clear property that I just purchased. It's a phenomenal work horse. The chain is easy to tighten with just the turn of a knob. Cuts the largest trees like butter that I have had to remove. Self lubricating. Lightweight. Well priced.

I purchased 2 weed WORX weed whackers 1 electric chain saw and their top of the line lawn mower. The mower lasted for 3 cuts and the batteries would not hold a charge. These have been purchased in the last year and a half. All of them are not operational at this point. When I called to inform WORX about these products I was given such a run around that I gave up. They now sit in my garage. I just feel terrible throwing them out. Please be extremely weary before purchasing any of the WORX products.
