Withholding our funds and our customers funds!
They sent us an email to verify our account (been with them for years), but it went unnoticed in our spam folder (normally, all their emails are spam offering us to lend money etc.).
Had to send them a passport etc, all out of the blue without any phone call chasing us up.
They have withheld our funds since the 2nd of December and are withholding all customer refunds as well, with our customers getting frustrated with us that they have not received their money back yet.
Emails keep going back and forth, and our account is still not yet verified with the restriction removed.
We keep sending them exactly what they ask for. Today, I received an email (after waiting a further 7 days) saying I need to resend my email with the reference number included, even though the reference number is already stated!
Now we have to wait a further 5 to 7 days until they reply again!
Trying to resolve it over the phone is very painful, dealing with the underpaid Far East call center where nobody knows what is going on.
When this is resolved, we will leave Worldpay in the New Year as this is outrageous
Have them for couple years twice both time very costly and never know what they gonna charge,

This company I regrettably joined, the customer service is non-existent, chargebacks are always sided on behalf of the customer and not clients likes of us, they do not keep you informed, they do not follow up, they do nothing, these people are enemies of progress.
If you are a small business I would suggest that you place your business to someone who is prepared to help you, guide you, and assist you as a partner. This company does none of the above.

Unethical business practices. We are forced to use World Pay through Zen Planner to process payments for our gym memberships. Something as simple as chaning the bank account has taken over three months as they continuously kicked back our application because they don't like how our checks looked. We did finally get approved and billed over $10,000 in memberships, yet eight days later we have still not had our money deposited into our business checking account. We called World Pay. They froze our funds and sent our account to "investigations" but never communicated this to us. We had to reach out to them. They now refuse to release our billed funds for without reason. They've told us to "keep checking your bank account to see if the funds were deposited" while they've done nothing to find resolution. As a small business owner, this is debilitating! We have bills and employees to pay! We have done everything in line with what they requested and demanded from us. We aren't doing any shady workarounds of the system, our business has been established for EIGHT YEARS and runs the same billing dates every single month! All we needed to do was update our bank account. We are three months into this nightmare!
World Pay has been the bane of our existence and I am confused why this software business even necessary.
This company is a Mickey Mouse Outfit - Set a contract up with them in 2022 after 6 weeks their compliance department in their infinite wisdom decided my business was not for them and immediately cancelled the contract without any notice, which then caused me issues with our business.
I immediately contacted our bankers Lloyds who set up Cardnet for me to utilise and have been using this perfectly well since. I have however been receiving from Worldpay monthly charges for the last 6 months WTF - they cancel the contract and then have the brass neck to continue to charge me 6 months later. I have rang them monthly since Dec asking them to take me off their records but so far they have not - what a bunch of DEADHEADS - DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY FOR CARD PAYMENTS - LLOYDS CARDNET IS EXCELLENT
About to file complaint with BBB. I communicated with them soooo many times after a client filed a cc dispute. Every time they gave me inaccurate information, as a result, I am losing more than $250. Because they are used by Rectangle Health, I am canceling Rectangle Health as I NEVER want to deal with Orldpay ever again!
Wish I could choose zero stars. This company deserves nothing more. We requested that our accounts be closed in 2019. Fun fact - World Pay has 2 types of accounts for each Merchant ID - an IP account and a Core account. They only closed the IP accounts and kept the Core accounts open without our knowledge and approval. We have been charged statement fees since 2019. It took 2 full months of calling World Pay - 5 hours per week average - for them to figure out what was going on and to send me the DocuSigns for closing the Core accounts. They had THE NERVE to charge me an Early Termination Fee on one of the accounts - REALLY? The Core accounts were finally closed in March, and they are STILL charging me $100 per month. Hey World Pay - this is called STEALING. It is ILLEGAL. Customer Service is horrible. Everyone gives me a different answer - but no solution - and I am always transferred no fewer than 3 times. Today I found out my call through the telephone tree prompts went to Collections - that person said she was going to transfer me to a Customer Service Rep and ended up being yet another person in Collections. SHE said she was transferring me to someone in Customer Service, and when she hung up, the line went dead. They take your money, you have no recourse. Bad. Bad. Bad.
This is a ripoff, complete ripoff.
They do not have a customer service, they do not let you go, they do not update your equippment.
They closed our merchant account on 28Jun2023 and also confirmed that no further account monthly fees will be debited from our bank account as also confirmed from their complaint team on mail. But on 19Aug they misused direct debit facility and debited monthly dashboard fee for Jul 2023. When the account is closed why still charging monthly fees. Next they are withholding almost GBP 2000 for our collected payment since 27Apr2023 and as per their confirmation on mail this is to be released after chargeback period of 120 days, which also completed on 25Aug but neither they have credited the funds to our bank account nor responding to our mails. The contact numbers listed by them is another fraud they are doing by charging excessively high call rates even for incoming calls which is always to be free. It's a caution to all merchants to stop doing business thru this company else u will regret about ur decision. Also the reviews listed in favor of them are mostly fake so don't trust them. They are cheats and unreliable. Must be termed as dacoits. And there complaint shud be made to the PM of UK to cease this company and recover funds from the employees assets too who are supporting this financial fraud.
