We closed our account in April 2023. Worldpay sent a docusign. It asked us to list all MID to close, assuming we had any idea what that means. It didn't say "accounts to close" anywhere. We put our account number on the docusign. Apparently, we had two accounts, one for brick and mortar and one for our website. They continued charging our brick-and-mortar account for 4 months with providing no service as we had already changed to another merchant service company. Over $900! I think they have HORRIBLE customer service. I have attached one of the THREE invoices they were happy to charge my account for even though there is no processing activity in the summary. If this problem, happened with my bank or any other merchant service company that I have used (as I've been in business for 42 years) they would have refunded the charges that they took from my account without providing any service! I would NEVER recommend using Worldpay!
Back in 2013, I believe I used this company for a year or two before deciding to switch due to your high charges. For the past 10 years or so, I have been charged fees despite not processing any payments through their service. As a small business owner, I feel I have been taken advantage of, and I am requesting a refund for all the years I was charged without utilizing their payment processing services. I have not heard anything from them.
The new daily invoices and automatic charges are a nightmare.
Forget trying to reconcile your accounts, and getting your VAT right. Now you have 31 invoices instead of 1!
Transitioned to world pay on smooth process promises …2 month later we still can't process health saving cards for our clients and we lost thousands on dollars in lost transactions. They don't even return your calls. You will have to chase them and no one can find a solution for your problem
Very dissatisfied with their practices. They did not document when our accounts were closed, but continued to charge fees on the closed accounts. They also charged a penalty fee for an account closed before the renewal date because they again did not document or record that we closed the account. They are very dishonest and unethical, and I recommend not dealing with them ever.

We are Powder Coatings Ltd. We have been a customer of Worldpay for 20 years. Nat West recently closed our account after 50 years as a customer ( No Reason Given) We had to change Banks and tried to give Worldpay revised details for our new account. They were very unhelpful. The guy on the phone asked two security questions, 1. What was the value of the last invoice they sent us, which I answered by reading the amount on the invoice. 2. What was our business telephone number, which of course we know and supplied to him. He then said we had failed security and to make matters worse delighted in telling us that he would not tell us which question we had failed. Very Unhelpful. I asked him to close our account and we will find someone who appreciated our business and understand customer/supplier relationships.
Don't use this company. They charge an annual fee of $199.00. I canceled my plan and they still charged me $199.00- even though I only had 2 months in in the year. I called to have it pro rated for just the 2 months and they said no. It's not based on months as a client- it's based on even 1 day as a client. This is absolutely ridiculous! All of their rates are too high.
I have been a customer with Workd Pay since 2018. Over the years, I have had customer support issues but this month (October 2023) it has reach an all time low. I have spent more than 10 hours on the phone (about 4 phone calls) with tech support trying resolve funding discrepancies. I have asked to speak to a mgr/supervisor multiple times and every time I have been told, there is no mgr/supervisor available to assist me. On 10/30/23, I was told the tech was escalating the situation and I would receive a call from mgmt within 2 to 24 hours. It is 11/01/23 and no one has ever called me. I am researching my options to switch credit card processors. I recommend going with anyone other than World Pay.

Thats right folks. $21,000 GONE! World pay is fine charging me money for fraudulent activity. After months of calls and emails, they have blamed everyone they can besides themselves. They were to set my new account up in 2013, and faild to turn on the fraud filters inside Authorize.net. World pay blamed Authorized.net for 2 months, till I got Authorized.net to send me over paperwork that shows world pay is at fault for not setting my fraud filters up. The offered ZERO back to. NOW, Im the reason for the fraud attackj, and they still make $21,000 off fraudulent activity, that they could have stopped by setting the account up properly in 2013. THEY SUCK... ZERO was offered back to my small business... They do not accept any responsibility, and they want people like me to get attacked with fraudulent activity because HEY MAKE PROFIT from it.
Consumer beware! This is the most dishonest credit card processing company out there. To start, they will charge hidden fees in our statements. They charged me a fee for a machine that I didn't even have. When I tried to get a refund the would not refund the fee. Then in December of 2017 I noticed large fees that they charged to my account. Fed up, I called to close the account in January 2018. They closed the account, but I have a transaction that needed to be closed. I called and they needed to reopen the account to close the transaction. They re-opened the account and walked me through forcing the transaction. At that time they were to close the account and to my knowledge they did. I was wrong- they left the account open and have charged $1142. 29 of fees to my checking account. I have contacted them several time to only get a case number from someone in their call center and no response back. This company makes money by scamming clients. DO NOT use this company.
This company actively take part in thefts from customers, I had a merchant account with WorldPay who took my customers money, never released it to me & never refunded it to the card holders. They caused me a massive amount of embarrassment and to this day have not released the money. My customers are going throuth the chargeback channel but WorldPay are fighting to keep the money. Absolute thieves!
World pay take the payments and pass all responsibility onto the company the act for. The company they act for is fraudulent, and does not provide the item paid for. They are complacent and thus acting fraudulently themselves A Hong Kong fraud. Beware do not use WorldPay to buy anything. The company they front is, www.DCbatteries.co.uk who are actually a Chinese money receiving outfit not providing goods.
I sell and install Solar Panels, I am approved for the card machine and receive it on Thursday 26th Jan 2023. My first customer wants to pay £13,000 deposit by credit card over the weekend. I call Worldpay on Friday 27th Jan explaining my first payment will be £13,000, do I need it to be pre-approved I ask,no,everything is fine they say, take the payment and it will be in your bank Mon/Tues,so I take the payment.
Get a call on Monday from Worldpay,saying my business model is outside of their risk appetite and they will be holding onto the £13,000 for 120 days.
It wasn't outside their risk appetite when they sent me the card reader or when they said it was fine to take the £13,000 deposit.
Do not entertain these conmen, they will destroy your business

We needed our customer gift card report and they quoted us $2000 to get us that report. It's the customers Data! They have every right to get the numbers and balances
