This company tricked me into annual subscription that was 12 the price I wanted to pay for 1 month to use it once. After using I cancelled and forgot about this company, only to see them keep charging me MONTHLY 25 EUR. This is a fraud, and how the hell is it online and nobody is doing anything about it? Scammers.

You are LIARS. This is not free at all without the watermark! However you lied and pretended this is some free alternative to IMOVIE. I would not pay for this program if my life depended on it after those shady ethics and business practices.

I am a long-time customer of Wondershare Technology, and my recent experience has been nothing short of horrendous. I purchased two one-year licenses for their Dr.Fone product, only to find that both stopped working after just four months. When I reached out for support, I was met with unhelpful responses and an outright refusal to provide a refund or alternative solutions.

After multiple attempts to resolve the error 12 issue on my iOS device through their AI assistant and a representative named Lloyd, I was informed that Pokémon Go had blocked third-party virtual location tools, rendering my subscription useless. Despite this, Wondershare refused to issue a refund, citing that my purchase date in February was too far in the past, even though I last used the product in June.

Lloyd's sympathy did nothing to address the core issue. He repeatedly stated that their system could no longer process a refund and that escalation to management or ownership was not an option. This lack of flexibility and responsibility is utterly unacceptable. I have wasted a significant amount of money on two licenses that are now completely useless.

Wondershare's refusal to accommodate a long-time customer and its rigid policies demonstrate a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Their service has been deeply disappointing, and I expected far better from a company I had trusted for so long.

I will be sharing my negative experience across various platforms to warn potential customers about Wondershare's poor service and inflexible policies. Avoid this company if you value your money and expect decent customer support.

I signed up for a trial of their DemoCreator. You pay a hefty fee up front.

I cancelled the next day. The program was a bit clunky. I got a cancellation confirmation for the DemoCreator but was still billed. I checked my account status and saw that despite the confirmed cancellation my account was still active. I called the customer service and was given a run around. The lady said she saw my cancellation in the system but that I still had to cancel and couldn't get a refund because it is not in their policy.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was on hold for 20 minutes before the same lady came back to me a offer a refund after all.

Unprofessional and a huge waste of time.

Money making scam

I bought the filmora for a one-off use in Feb 2022 because my daughter need some software to assist with a media study assignment and I was automatically signed up for an annual subscription renewal that I wasn't aware.
My credit card got charged today for an annual renewal of A$77.07 which I initially thought my card details were stolen and was about to report to card issuer's fraud team. I did a quick google search and found out Wondershare is a legitimate company. And luckily I managed to sign in to my account on the same day of the charge to cancel the annual subscription that I never asked for. I emailed Wondershare and requested refund on the same day - the request was declined.
I suspect this is how they make money through victims like me that got automatcially signed up for products / services you no longer need!
Stay away and shop around!

I had to purchase another license for Filmora, (couldn't use my windows license on a Mac) and didn't noticed the free trial tick box for plugins during the purchase process (it is ticked by default)
Few days later I noticed an automatic payment deduction from my PayPal account which I had no idea what it was for. I emailed wondershare asking for a refund and they replied the following: "Regarding your refund request, we're sorry that we won't be able to process a refund. Please be informed that if the user forgot to cancel it timely and payment was finished, we are not able to refund. Instead, we may still refund only when it meets refund circumstances. Here is our refund policy for your reference: https://www.wondershare.com/refund-policy.html.

I've also checked your email address *******@msn.com and found that you already canceled the auto-renewal after the charges happens. Rest assured that you will no longer gonna be charged after the Effects and Plugins subscription expires."

Avoid This Product

I have had this video editing software which has been nothing but a nightmare. It stutters, stops, does not provide real time editing and eventually the program just crashes in the middle work. The lag time is unreal.
This does this regardless of the quality of video you are uploading. I have done everything from 780 to 1080 and its all the same. Dont even try 4K. I requested a refund as my computer has more than enough power to run this without these issues. They asked that I send a video of the problem along with some program file information which I did. Two days later they still had not done anything with email and asked that I "please provide more paitence." I attempted to upload an 11 second video for you to see the issues but it says I now need a 15 second video. It's ridiculous. I turned to my bank for help in getting a refund and having them cancel my service.

Yesterday paid for and downloaded their PDF program. Spent 2 days trying to "log in" This isn't my first rodeo and I could not log-in; kept giving me error messages. I had brought an emailed document up and tried to print it, couldn't and when I tried to get out of the document it locked me up with continuous messages. Could not exit the document and had to go to task manager to end the program and clear the screen (?) first time I have ever encountered that big of a problem just to exit a screen. DON'T BUY THIS unless you want hours of frustration.

Dishonest thieves

I purchased the UniConverter software so I could remove some watermarks from the video. Their website says that they "REMOVE" watermarks but they do not. That is a lie. They use blur tools to obfuscate the watermark or logo.
I requested a refund based on this fraudulent claim that they made but they are refusing to provide a refund even though they are committing consumer fraud by claiming a function that their software simply doesn't have.

If you look at the images below, the area where the watermark was is very blurred and obfuscated but the watermark has NOT been removed. It is simply not visible. This method makes the video look like trash and is simply unacceptable as an option.

Literal Malware

After deleting Filmora, they left numerous background tasks and programs on my computer. After finally figuring out how to delete all of the left over files, I find certain wondershare programs reinstalled. I then had to install multiple programs to search thru every system file, and had to go through my computers registries, all the way down to the literal binary and clear it out. Even now, theres 2 log files left that my computer refuses to uninstall and are unable to be accessed by any program. I actually might have to do a fresh windows install. Huge bummer and huge scam.

You are asked which payment plan you wanna go for, I chose a year worth (70ish bucks) on the third of december- not even a week later it wanted to charge me 23 bucks more for some kind of renewal. I tried to get answers from customer service, but there was just some bot. When being transferred to a 'person' there was no answer at all anymore- DO NOT PURCHASE! Worst investment

Superb experience

I was looking to get a new version of the Edraw Max software I had bought back in 2016. I had a lifetime license, but could not navigate through the site to get to the point in which I could get the upgrade. They were able to find the details of my purchase very quickly, provide the solution and lead me to the place in the website where I would be able to get the upgrade. No protracted exchanges. No empty words. Extremely helpful and efficient. I am very grateful about the service.

I contacted customer service regarding timestamps using Wondershare Uniconverter. Coco messaged and assisted me. He/She was not able to resolve my issue, but they did say they'd contact the developer team to assist. I said thank you, but honestly wasn't expecting a reply. When I got a reply a day or so later I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to Coco and the dev team at Wondershare, my issue is resolved and my work efficiency has insanely increased!

Absolutely horrible

I subscribed to wondershare under the thought that it was $49.99 per year. I miss read what I was signing up for. Luckily it said I can cancel at anytime. So after 1 month I canceled it. The next month I was billed again for $22. So I emailed the support team and they said they would cancel it. I was charged again the next month. So I emailed again. I once again was told they canceled my subscription and autopay. 6 months later I have now paid $130 more than I was willing to pay for this software. I once again have reached out to the support team. It is now 12-18-22

Cheating the customers

They are keeping another service to be subscribed to at the time of paying for the service I selected. If you didn't notice that you will be considered subscribed to a new service after 7 days, and they will deduct the money from your account. If you asked them for a refund, they will simply say why didn't you uncheck the box of the new service at the time of paying for the subscribed service! If you want to offer a service to anybody, you have to leave this option to the customer. You are ticking the box yourself, and then asking the customer to untick if he didn't want. If the customer didn't notice that, you will consider him subscribed!

Democreator by Wondershare seemed pretty good, so I thought I'd be ok with the subscription. Trying to use my camera and screenshare was glitchy, so I took a look at the FAQ. No luck. Then tried tech support. Only bots and I called the tech number with no luck as well. I asked for a refund and was told I was not allowed to have one because I signed up for a subscription during the free trial. Buyer be ware for sure!
