I spent hours trying to get the software to activate. I tried several times to resolve the issue via Wondershare's useless automated help desk. Once I finally got fed up and tried to cancel, they forced me into a queue for assistance that never updated. I requested that they honor the 30day Money Back Guarantee posted on their site, but instead they hid behind a policy of no refunds no matter what. They demanded the opportunity to resolve the issue, but after hours of frustration all I wanted was my $10 refunded. Three days later they still refuse to refund or honor their Money back Guarantee (even tho I've clearly not been able to activate or use any software). Additionally I've requested multiple times that they remove my profile and personal data as per US and UK Privacy Laws, and they've completely ignored me.
I've now been forced to file a dispute with Amex, file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for disregard of privacy laws, and alert my attorney to begin the process of legal mitigation… all because of their shady and unethical business practices. If you have a money-back guarantee posted for the World to see… then you really should honor it.

Impressively dense and dumb support, agent did not read much of what I said over and over. Will avoid at all costs. Product usually works and is pretty, but expensive. Just use Hirens Boot PE free.
Why do people pay for a subscription to Wondershare Recoverit? - To get the result as soon as possible, because their work file is broken, and it needs to be fixed ASAP, to does not affect their work.
I absolutely don't recommend Wondershare Recoverit, as it doesn't work!
I contacted their technical support, to say that Recoverit does not work, and ask they return the money for the subscription, because they service can't help me, as stated.
They asked me to send them screenshots with an error to confirm the problem, and then a broken working file so that their technical specialists would try to fix it.
For the third day they have been fooling me and they do not want to return the payment for the subscription.
They still can't or don't want solve the problem with the file. Technical support behaves as if they are mocking me. They asked to send an example of a good file created on the same device, and after I did it, they just return this file back with the phrase "here is your restored file, we fixed it". What?! Are they serious?!
Then again they ask to send them screenshots of the error that I sent them twice already.
I don't believe they will ever refund my money. I think they are shameless scammers.
I downloaded PDFElement 11 months ago. Nowhere did it say anything about being charged. I have ZERO emails from this company advising me of anything. Complete scam and fraud.

If you pay for a lifetime license they will force you to upgrade and pay them more money to use the service you have already paid for. Really one of the worst software experiences of my life.

My son and I signed up for their "free" trial and they charged my PayPal $80. I canceled it within 5 minutes once I saw that they charged me, filed a PayPal dispute, and tried speaking with Wondershare's customer service. They refused to refund their "free trial". THIS IS A SCAM and their customer service is appalling as they are slow to respond and are like talking to robots.
