Well I decided to order from Winn Dixie on line and prepared an order taking a good amount of time. Delivery was set to arrive between 2 pm and 3 pm. Other than a lack of clarity on sales items everything seemed to go smooth, confirmation received, my bank showed a pending payment. At about 2:10 I received an email my order was on the way. 3 pm came and went and just prior to 4 pm I called customer service. They were to call back and I did receive a hang up, followed by an email that I was no available. They said my order showed delivered but the department said there was a problem so I would be fully refunded but had to call back the following day due to posting. No order and more for me to do after wasting a considerable amount of time. While a received apologies I was given no offer to resend the order. One would think that would have been the right thing to do but no offer to resend and we were out what we needed for dinner that evening. This was a very bad experience with little to know help to resolve the matter. I suggest that people think twice before ordering from Winn Dixie. I know my order will be placed elsewhere tomorrow. My rating from 1 to 10 is below 1.

Greed and incompetence is the hallmark of WD. I go there only when I have to. The reasons are everywhere once you walk into the place and it matters not where they all are terrible, just different degrees of terrible.

Misleading pricing
July 3, 2023

Went to Winn-Dixie in Vero Beach for the first time. BEWARE of the yellow tags. If you don't have a card, those $6.99 bag of wings will be $20 at the register and a case of Yuengling marked $20 will be $30.

They do NOT make this clear on the items or shelves. And the cashiers don't tell you.

Never going back and you shouldn't either

All berries and most fruits are bad and moldy! Customer service is The worst I ever had a long time! I have been coming to Winn Dixie (located in Tomas drive in PCB) for 3 years. Today was the last time I went there. Food, service are just that bad!

Couldn't or refused to sell a lottery ticket because only person authorized to sell them went home. This occurred on 4/25/2022 at 6:15pm. Said the "report had already been run for the day. Their prices are approximately 50% higher than Walmart and the only reason for patronizing Winn Dixie WAS their offering Lottery tickets. No more.

Friendly good service

I have a great shopping experience every time I to the store… smiling face's and they're always ready to help. Big ups to the produces department and the seafood department that's always on point…. Fresh great tasting food. This Winn-Dixie have some pretty great people working for them….

I have been shopping at Winn Dixie for over plus years and I have always been completely satisfied with my purchases. From pharmaceutical to food and meats. I really enjoy the quality of meat from Winn Dixie stores. Yes, I recommend them.

Absolutely ridiculous to me the store opens at 7 a.m. i am checking out at 8:30a.m., huge weekly basket of groceries groceries and i have got to check myself out, the prices of food are ridiculous and i have to stand at self checkout trying to scan myself out, im done, you lost a good loyal weekly shopper

Racism
July 4, 2020

They accused me of stealing when I was a hispanic women shopping for my sick mother. The checkout lady spit in my face took my receipt from me when I was just trying to show her I bought the things I am leaving with. Then she processed to rip the reciept in front of me. Stay away from this! Especially if you're a person of color!

App needs work

I have never been able to open that app and use it right away. I have no other app on my phone that acts that way. Lot of times it won't load it says that I have to wait or the items just don't come up it's awful it is really awful

BOGO BS
April 25, 2021

Went to Wind Dix, where I sometimes buy beer. They had one of my favourites BOGO, so I grabbed two six packs. I usually pay $8.99 per six pack so when the clerk said $13.90, I said must be wrong. Then he explained that the "regular" price was $12.99 a six pack,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Jack up the regular price then tell me a lie? Time to go back to Publix.

The Winn Dixie at 1010 S Ponce De Leon Blvd, St. Augustine, FL *******, needs to give attention to the public restrooms, from floor to ceiling. Starting with the dirty doors, door handles, door frame and it just continues throughout the restroom to include the floors, ceilings, A/C vents, partitions and particularly the walls which appear as though they have not been washed in many months. It gets worse when you look at the toilets and urinals that show long term build up of dirt, urine, etc. Toilet seats, towel and soap dispensers are broken. There should be a waste can in the disable stalls. With COVID19 alive and active, these restrooms should be getting no less than an hourly clean with a check list that should be prominently displayed for the comfort of the customer.

Lost without a care
July 24, 2021

My winn Dixie is always understocked. Not just sale items. But today I asked meat department about a item, he was to busy hosing down back to even take a look for the item I asked about. I go to Publix and they go out of their way to help and make a sale. Not Winn Dixie. Just lost a good costumer. Pull up my info I used to spend a fair amount of money in your store. I would rather spend a little more and get what I came for. My time is worth money. Can't go to a store and gamble on if they are stocked or not.

Stopped in Winn-Dixie on 3201 W. Colonial Dr. for sale items. Three out of five were not in stock. When asking employee if they could check in back I was told that wasn't their dept and nobody was available to assist me. Lines were backed up while 3 employees were at service desk doing nothing. Had to wait in line nearly 15 minutes at service area to receive raincheck on the sale items not in stock. Cashier was rude. Nosmile or eye contact. Worst shopping experience ever

Disgusted with WD
October 18, 2022

In the last few months, I have received 170 points even though I have shopped at WD every week for 20 years. I used to accumulate enough points to pay for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. That's one reason I have used them for so long in addition to being close by. I do like their BOGO's but I looked forward to the points each week. I'm forgetting the points and changing stores.

Bad meat
December 30, 2022

Bought 3 packs Jimmy Dean sausage,Still in date, got home to cook it and found out it was rotten. Took it back didn't want to give me my money back. Paid $10.00 plus tax and only got $8.97 back in a winn dixie card an this was the second time this has happend to me. I didnt get my money back for my steaks. I will not shop there any more. You suck winn dixie!

I was just told by cashier Shari that what I thought was the customer service counter no long allows you to check. She was so rude and told me that it was not customer service it is the money center. If they had more cashiers I wouldn't have gone to that check out with only 5 items. She need some Training! We are very good customers of the store on Bermont Rd in Punta Gorda and no one expects to be treated so rudely! Un happy customer Brenda Hughes

WinnDixie has a commercial where they claim they have the best produce. LOL The best produce? Compared to who? The movie theater? LOL. Their produce STINKS. I bought a water melon and a pineapple 2 days ago, the melons rind was like 4 inches thick, and the pineapple was rotten on the inside. Like I said, you can get better produce from the movie theater. The entire chain of WinnDixie sucks. You won't find me in that dump again.

August 21,2023 I was at Winn Dixie on Sorento Rd. I bought a ground beef. I paid with my ATM card. And when I got home I have a call from my husband. My husband asked me if I was just at this store I said I was. Then he informed me that my debit card has been hacked. He got a call from our bank telling him that my account has been empty. I went back to the store I spoke to the manager, I told him what happened. The manager assured me that they are going to look in to it. I'm writing this to let everyone know to use precaution when you use your debit card at this store. I'm just sharing my experience to all.

NO MASKS
