FEEDING THE EMPLOYEES AT YOUR EXPENSE
April 12, 2023

I have some serious health issues and couldn't go to the grocery store. (still can't)
DoorDash started delivering for winn dixie so I have been ordering from them and having them delivered. EVERY SINGLE TIME things that winn dixie charged me for were NOT delivered/ Usually it was something small and being so ill I just let it go. Yesterday on 4/11/23 I placed an order about 200.00. I got an email saying my order was on the way. Being only a mile away, an hour later and no DoorDash I was afraid they had a wreck. I called and the customer service unpleasant gal said they tried to deliver and I was not home. I was home with 3 other adults and 2 kids. NO ONE KNOCKED or rang the doorbell. So the rude CS gal said I had to pick it up. She said it was stored in the freezer. My daughter in law picked it up. As I was watching her unpack it I noticed many things not in my order. This time not 1 or 2 cheap things but over 30.00 in items! I called winn dixie again and was told by the same personality plus beast "TAKE IT UP WITH DOORDASH" So I tried. I was on hold for over 30 min and couldn't understand the person they sent me to. The one I stayed on hold for another 20 for. He consoled me and said I would get a whole refund...so I calmed down and told him I wanted my tip back too. Today I get a notice no refund and the 208 was processed. Doordash said Winn dixie should refund but winn dixie says doordash is responsible. So obviously no one cares who takes part of your order and lies about not being able to deliver it. NO MORE winn dixie for me...Either the driver kept what he wanted (we already know he lies) or when they put it in the back workers helped them self. My opinion is winn dixie is NOT a win win situation Doordash does not shop thinking of savings either, If you want the sale 5 for 5 $ and they get you 4 you pay regular price and pay `````169 for 4. You know the item you are only getting because it's BOGO? Opppise-they only grabbed 1. Customer loses. The cashiers should tell them.Or maybe doordash should carry the flyers? No matter what...you lose with winn dixie AND doordash hires ANYONE- Walmarts prices are lower anyway...even on their BOGOS walmart beats the price. Happy shopping,,,, Port St Lucie Fl probably has one of the worst stores open. For sure the have the most rude!

Why does Winn Dixie OVERCHARGE customers and IGNORE BBB Conplaints?
August 2, 2020

On 8-2- 2020, I was victimized by Winn Dixie aka Southeastern Grocers, LLC as they are conducting a scheme to defraud the public by advertising low prices within their store and overcharging customers at the register. The advertised price for 12 eggs was $1.16. I purchased two cartons and was charged a $1.34 for each carton(a 14% overcharge). Apparently this overcharge is programmed into the system operated by Southeastern Grocers in order to fraudulently overcharge customers and unjustly enriched the organization. Evidence of this "ongoing course of conduct" being an intentional fraudulent scheme is(1) the organization is knowingly ignoring consumer complaints to the Better Business Bureau®(according to BBB reports) and this has happened to me before.

When this has happened to me in the past and the item always would overcharge me never an undercharge.

Clearly this is a theft of consumer funds and is an "ongoing course of conduct" by Southeastern Grocers, LLC.

Florida statute 772.11 provides a civil penalty for theft or exploitation with a minimum damage of $200 plus attorney's fees and court cost.

This complaint will be forwarded by the Better Business Bureau to Southeastern Grocers, LLC and it should serve as a demand letter for $200 pursuant to Florida Statutes.

As a settlement I'm requesting that Southeastern Grocers do one the following;

1. Satisfy all unanswered complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau since they have a history of ignoring consumer complaints. NOTE: The BBB online issued an ALERT for this business that states "Pattern of Complaint: BBB files show the company has a pattern of not responding to complaints presented by the BBB and company has failed to eliminate the basic cause of complaints. Concerns were outdated items being sold, pricing issues...". See- https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/jacksonville/profile/grocery-store/southeastern-grocers-llc-0403-1642

2. Stop selling eggs altogether since this item is being used in this scheme to exploit/defraud their customers.

3. Make a payment of $200 to me pursuant to Florida State Statute 772.11 Civil remedy for theft or exploitation. See- http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0700-0799/0772/Sections/0772.11.html
This state law grants victims minimum damages in the amount of $200, and reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.

I am offering Southeast Grocers, LLC the opportunity to save the expenditure of paying my court cost and attorney's fees by promptly paying $200 within 30 days or satisfying items 1 or 2 above.
