I only used this on desktop but the layout of the website and user friendliness was decent, just not super easy. Automated shipping options on web.com would make it the tits meow
Your processes are broken as admitted to by your team. Yet, you are unwilling to correct them or let me speak with someone with the authority to correct your errors. I am left with verifying (again) my identity so I can (again) fix your broken work flow. The broken flow? Registering a new domain, using my log in and correct credentials, results in you assigning the wrong credentials to the domain.
2 step verification is a crock! I have yet to find out whether I pay one price for unlimited email addresses or whether you intend to charge me for each one. I don't have a good feeling about this. I was told nothing would change but so much is changing.
THE COMPANY IS BASED OUT OF THE PHILIPPINES WHERE OPERATORS ARE TRAINED TO BE VERY POLITE, BUT ARE UNABLE TO HELP. CREATE WORK TICKETS THAT GO NOWHERE TO NO ONE WHO CAN HELP. THEY ARE QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN PROVIDE NO SERVICE OR HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT. WHEN YOUR RENEWAL PAYMENT IS DUE, THEIR CARD PROCESSING DOESN'T WORK (THEY SAID THEIR HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MANY CLIENTS CARDS) SO THEY CANCEL YOUR WEBSITE AND ITS LOST. BEWARE!
Lots of changes since dotster. I was not expecting the new layout, and will need to learn a lot to be able to navigate this new system.
web.com is the first platform that I, as someone who did not grow up with computer technology can relate to and work with. Web.com's professionals are knowledgeable, courteous, patient, compassionate, thoughtful and efficient.
The dashboard interface is not clear to follow or find what I need. And customer support is slow and not well trained. They seem to only work off of a keyword list of documents to send instead of being truly knowledgeable.
Purchased from mydomain.com which was bought out unfortunately. web.com neither offers the same benefits (free SSL) and charges for web-forwarding which is 100% money-grab as no-one charges for this basic service. Customer service is good.
Since web.com took over my previous provider they two SSL licenses, $145 mistake.
Messed up the SSL so my website no longer works.
Chat is terrible, wasted hours with them. Never solved basic problem.
Phone support was a great guy but he had to escalate problem and they screwed it up.
See for yourself how they have messed up my website after a month of dealing with them.

My website now shows this
400 Bad Request
Openresty/1.25.3.1
I keep getting emails about changes without giving me time (like a month or so) to make the changes to accounts. I get double charges. I never had this experience when there was a switch to another company. Previous company switches gave me ample time to be aware of the switch.
You limit of password length to 16 characters is INSUFFICIENT in today's world for something as important as domain management. I am a Dotster customer coming over, and this is a significant downgrade!
We (my wife and I) are very disappointed with the ever increasing costs and decreasing quality. We are also unhappy that our domain transfer out is not happening in less than at least the first three days. We still have not received the transfer out code.
Terrible user experience - almost unusable. A hodge-podge of multiple acquired tools and programs that barely work with each other, very poor usability, even the support team gets confused and have a hard time figuring out how to access most of the functionality. Can believe this company still exists.
Great customer service! Quick and fast response! Will definitely recommend to all my business partners!
I am a client of mydomain.com and do not understand the new relationship between the two apparently separate online portals, plus I was NEVER informed that a takeover or merger was taking place so the last couple of months has been very stressful.
Impossible to find out how to just add an email address for a domain I own and have registered on this account.
Trying to renew my domain names and card is expired no way to edit. Created a new one but it's not an option to use because the domain is connected to the expired card. Oh and there's a domain name listed as suspended that's not mine. This place is a joke now. Might be easier to just transfer the names somewhere else.
Customer service is unresponsive and when you finally do get through to someone they refuse to listen to fully understand the problem and insist it's fixed when it's not! Even after escalation 3 times same result keep insisting the problem is fixed when they are wrong I give up
My domain was not on this website, and now it appears to be handled by you. I have no idea why I also had two domains, one that I did not ask, (an.online), and now it seems my website is not secure and I cannot use it. It also seems also that to make it safe I have to pay lots of money. There is no place to fin information on how to fix these issues and I need to help to a friend.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
