Cheap made clothing
February 10, 2022

Please don't waste your $20 styling fee on this company because they will just send you whatever they want. I am actually going to dispute the $20 styling fee with my credit card company for the simple fact they sent me everything I told them I did not want. I said I wanted no jeans or dress pants or jackets. So what did they send me jeans dress pants and a jacket. I said I wanted leggings and shirts for leggings for my upcoming vacation I got none of that. I wish I would have read the reviews here before I ordered.

Don't get sucked in. Your monthly $29 is just the beginning. You'll end up spending closer to $300 if you don't pay attention. Admittedly - I didn't read the fine print and got stuck with clothes that I would never wear that cost me severely. The stylist either didn't look at my preferences or sent me the wrong stuff. They also sent all larges when I'm a Medium. Month 2 I selected to return all but one item and they charged me full price. As for the quality - its middle of the road- but the everything is $59+
I also didn't receive a single "bottom" piece in my second box. I definitely would NOT recommend Wantable - and given their 1.67 score, clearly I'm not the only one.

Better than StitchFix!
December 29, 2021

Yes, the prices are a little high, but that's something you can control by choosing what price range you want. I received my first box in less than a week of signing up and I was HIGHLY satisfied! I have been doing StitchFix for a little over a year and lately they cannot get my style right, so I decided to do Wantable. I was so impressed because they got my style completely on point! I ended up buying 3 items and cannot wait for the next box! I see a lot of comments about the 3-day time limit, which to me seems perfectly reasonable. I work 6 days a week & I am a full-time mother and can try on and send the items back in less than 30 mins. Definitely worth trying, just make sure to be honest in the questionnaire and you should have no problem getting what you like.

Disappointing
November 28, 2020

I tried both Stitch Fix and Wantable because I don't want to go out and shop during COVID. Got my Stitch Fix box 5 days before Wantable (even though I ordered on the same day) and it was really good! All of the clothes fit great and I ended up buying the entire box. I was so excited to get my wantable box because I was so impressed with Stitch Fix. So my Wantable shows up and I opened it with my husband because he was so excited to see it. O M G. The clothes were awful! I am in my late 30's and they sent a tie dye midriff! Not my style AT ALL. I am 6 ft tall and specifically said that I have a LONG torso in my quiz. All of the shirts were extremely wide and very short. The style was more appropriate for a college student. I did get a pair of jeans I liked but ended up returning the entire box. Stitch Fix is much better at finding appropriate styles and sizes.

Don't bother
September 5, 2020

I tried this as an alternative to Stitch Fix and I won't be back. They were more expensive than Stitch Fix and did not personalize my box at all. I requested a pair of black pants (a specific pair that I chose off their website, not just "I'd like a pair of black pants") and they did not send me those but rather a different pair at 3 times the cost, which happened to resemble a pair I already have (they have a subtle polka dot pattern which I like, but already have a pair). The pants were too small despite them being a size larger than I'd normally wear. They sent 2 of the same t-shirt in gray and white, nice fabric but at $52, way more than I'd pay for such a basic item. And why 2 of the same t-shirt both neutral colors? I chose a lot of colors in my style quiz and got all neutrals except a godawful buffalo check, red and black, shirt and a navy blue floral shirt (which I ended up keeping as the cheapest item in the box). The blue shirt is pretty, but it has a crossover front that is not stitched down so when I sit, it gapes open showing my stomach. I have to wear a cami and pin it together to wear it. Cheap quality. They also sent a pair of jeans 2 inches longer than what I told them my inseam was. They specifically asked for my inseam measurements and advertise the inseam on other jeans on their website but chose to send me a pair 2 inches too long? Sloppy. Save your money or try another company. I'll go back to Stitch Fix.

Rip off
August 14, 2020

As not only a former customer but a former employee I can say that this service is truly not worth the $$. What's worse is that clothes are indeed selected by an algorithm mostly, there are stylists but they dont have the time to properly read notes and do good job, they get maybe 10 minutes(that's being generous) to style an order before they have to move on. The clothing is just the cheapest quality you can imagine and the prices are pretty insane for items you can get at tj max for a third of the price tou pay here.

Owner of the company is clueless about the fashion industry and won't even listen to his own "experts" and its 100% a money operation and I get that any business is about making money but this guy and this company have no real passion for what they do. The people here who are passionate about fashion usually wind up leaving for greener pastures once they realize what wantable is really all about. To be fair many of the stylists try and give the customer a good experience, but they mostly have their hands tied and are slaves to the algorithm so to speak. If your going to do a sub box at least do one that pretends to care about the customer.

Wantable was more pricey than other services that I have used for subscription clothing. I didn't feel that the clothing quality was worth the high prices. On occasion, I did get a nice jacket or jeans, but I always felt that I purchased the item more to recover my styling fee than anything else. The clothing wears out about the same as any clothing that I have gotten from the average department store. Over time it seemed that an algorithm was picking my clothing more than a stylist. Some items did not adhere to my preferences. I have several "no-go" clothing specifications, but these were often disregarded. The turn around time to get clothing back was a bit ridiculous. I like to have more than a day to consider my options. Every now and then I would not get the clothing back in time and they would charge me for everything. When the items were returned, they would refund the charge so they were at least reasonable about that. I might consider them in the future. Maybe if I wasn't plus-sized there might be more options, but I don't think so. I noticed a lot of their items ended up on well-known thrift clothing websites.

Don't waste your money on Wantable! I just gave them my $20 styling fee to take back the entire box of crappy clothes they sent me. Not only did the clothes not fit my style, they were not appropriate for the upcoming Texas summer (we're talking a long sleeve heavy sweater and long sleeved cardigan) and looked like they were picked out for a woman 20 years older than me. I tried on a dress that was sent and my husband of 17 years said "that's the ugliest thing I have ever seen on you". I'm not kidding, it reminded me of a Laura Ashley dress I wore in 1988 when I was 10. It's a good thing I can laugh things off like this, the look on his face when I came out in that dress was pretty humorous.
In full transparency, I did request the sweater from their feed but truly expected the stylist choosing items for me to use some judgement as to what season we're in and where I live (it's not hard to see that I live in Texas and know that's it's about to be blazing hot). I would have much rather received items I could wear now and could have waited a few edits before getting that sweater.
I had stopped using Wantable about a year and a half ago and went back to StitchFix. Receiving this edit made me remember why I left. Too many bad edits! Towards the end, I was keeping the cheapest item in order not too lose my styling fee. I couldn't bring myself to do that this time since the cheapest item was a simple tank top for $44. There was no way I was going to give them another penny!
Seriously, go with another styling service or just go shop at Nordstrom Rack for the same type of clothes with much better prices.
They also do fitness edits and while I did like a lot of what was sent to me and kept some good pieces, I stopped using that service after realizing I could get the same or better fitness clothes other places (like Fabletics) without spending anywhere near as much.

With the COVid19 going on, would that be a good idea to try on at home and then return to have others to try the same clothes again?

The items were way over my budget, they sent me a pair of jeans for $178! Are you kidding me? I have two small children and I mean grad school. To be honest the quality was more of a target type. After seven days I got an email stating they had charged my card $312. I was shocked! Because I didn't extend my due date by calling them, which is very inconvenient, they went ahead and charged me for all of the clothes. I mean, let's be honest, I ordered this because I have no time to go shopping for myself. I sent all the clothes back and asked the credit card company to reject the payment. We'll see what happens. This was my first and last shipment from them. I would definitely not choose this company.

3 day window
November 8, 2019

The only issue I had with Wantable is yes the clothes are a little pricey but if I receive excellent customer service, The prices don't really bother me. You either keep it or send it back anyways. My problem was they only give you 3 days to try on. And when you call for extension they can only extend 3 days more. That definitely does not work for me. I am with Stitch fix and they are totally different. They allow as much time as you need which makes me stay because I have time to relax and review. This technique Wantable is using with this 3 day window makes me feel like at a rush to buy the clothes. So I have decided to stay with Stitch fix and let go of Wantable due to that reason. Hope your policies change in the near future

I will not every use this service again. The clothes are way too expensive and they ignored my budget completely. On top of that, when I told them I wanted to turn everything they gave me just a few days to send everything back and threatened to charge me the full amount when I missed the ridiculous deadline (even though I'd already emailed them the day before asking for another extension). Worst subscription service ever.

I received my box as a gift months later it pops up on my credit. I never ordered it and card wasnt in my name me and gift giver both confronted company and the tell me it's my card. After many calls it comes down to them saying we dont care who pays but it will stay on your credit till someone pays. But by far this was many months after I get box shirts fell apart the Jean's dye comes off. And I am still mad and I am turning them in to the BBB. We have done everything to prove I did not order but them and the collection agency refuse to remove it. This is a horrible company. Also they dont verify the cards I asked them if the did because if they put in my name and her card number it would bounce back. Even zips would be different because I am in a different state BEWARE

ZERO stars. Terrible customer service and TERRIBLE "styling." I said I hate the "rock" look, so I get leather leggings. I live in Houston and get a long sleeve black dress. No tops to show off my arms (which I indicated I like to show off) and a giant acid washed monstrosity that could double as a tent. And a poor quality badly stitched peplum blouse that's like 3 years out of style with threads coming out of it. Waste of time and money.

Every month they ask that you review the previous month and also add a note for the next shipment. I am not sure why, the stylist never seem to read the note. I have requested items for specific events and sometimes receive a box full of items you would never wear for that occasion. This has led to several disappointing boxes mixed in with one or two good ones. Katie in customer service has not been helpful ever. I have called and spoken with her twice and she was both rude and offered no solutions just excuses. Their boxes have also taken weeks to be mailed out and it usually takes another full week plus just to arrive. I have been helped by both Tracy and Rachel as well. Both have handled customer service issues for me and been very helpful.
