I placed an order online for toys. They were to be gifts for a neighbors children. I have health issues that make it difficult to trailer around the giant box stores. I was happy to find I could order online and pick up in store. Well, I checked in store couple days after stated delivery date. They had no record, but said don't worry, it just means it hasn't arrived in the store yet. They didn't check status. A couple of days later I checked the status and the order had been cancelled by Wal-Mart without any explanation or contacting me to let me know what was going on. I tried to find out why, they just said " it happens all the time". What if I had gone just before Christmas? S@$$$ out of luck! My credit card had been charged, that was not cancelled automatically, only after I complained. Do they have to have all of the money?
I have got everything from our bed to the kids Xmas gifts. Everything has always arrived on time and only had one issue out of numerous orders. Ordered a mattress and its plastic had gotten torn during transport so had dirt spots on cpl corners but the wife accepted it and we cleaned it off and have it to this day.
I've had issues in the past with the Wal-Mart website, specifically with payment processing. As it turns out, both my bank and PayPal hates the website and so they refuse payment to it constantly. It's a rare occasion that my credit card is accepted and when I say rare, I've tried probably 20 times and it's worked twice. Unless you have a carrier for your bank card and credit card that willingly accepts Wal-Mart.com transactions please do not waste your time on the site.
I like that I can find out whether an item is in stock at various stores, but the huge listings for non Walmart sites, listed on the site, is just too much clutter and confusing. I wanted to shop at Walmart's site, not some obscure affiliate who's got stuff to sell on Walmart's site who's got no real connection with them.
After reading many positive reviews about Walmart,I decided to try this store and did not regret it. The impressions are only positive! A wide range of products, affordable prices and convenient store locations make shopping here a pleasant and convenient process.The quality of the products meets expectations and the service is excellent. I usually order household items yearly in one purchase and honestly hate to haul this much from the store to my home. I can take advantage of the free shipping allotted on large orders online and have my big items like dog food, toilet paper cases and my entire list delivered free to my home. Walmart is very competitive with pricing an often has great stock up sale items. I have ordered and received my order with in 24 hours on one occasion. How can I beat this?
No refund for already-ordered and paid items if the items turned out "out of stock", really it says available when i paid for them; once I waited an hour by the pick up window and them came inside to know that the only 1 employee in the department was helping another customer, really 1 employ, for 1 hour; of course I lost the money, never get to see the stuff I paid for. Just down straight crooked to me! The only reason I shop here because I can't find similar stuffs elsewhere. Ugh...
Don't count on getting food delivery from Walmart. We have and paid for the service. I understand if there is a problem delivering the food, but to lie that a driver has it, and it's on the way! The first time they didn't show, they offered 15 dollars off my next food order. They encouraged me to do the next day. The same thing. Supposedly my food was with a driver over 5 hours. When I asked for a supervisor, they called my husband's phone. They offered 5 dollars off the second time. I am expecting Amazon fresh today. All Walmart needed to do is be honest.
I ordered 2 apple watches for my children on the Black Friday Deals with Walmart.com. I put the sale through as soon as the sale began. I had the order confirmation and they had the money held from my bank on my credit card. Two days later I was sent an email that this item was out of stock and my money is being refunded. I don't want a refund, I need the Christmas gifts for my children and now I don't have any other options because the deals are gone and I don't have gifts for my kids. I talked to customer service and it was sorry sometimes this happens. Buyer beware as a confirmation that you have purchased the item and you will receive it and it is in stock really doesn't mean that for Walmart.com. I would avoid Walmart.com if you want to be sure you have Christmas gifts to give on Christmas.
I'd rather not return it than return to that store, no one can park right, every car has loud music and gang rims. There was a pit bull with a seatbelt and it had an eye patch. That whole place can goto hell
But sad that we can't use the stores in our neighborhood because they are so high in price. And you can't beat free shipping anything over 50 dollars. They are very good about lost packages they resent our whole order. No questions asked.
I just wanted to share my most recent experience shopping at my local Walmart here in Los Angeles. Last week I bought a fairly cheap Revlon hair dryer at Walmart as my last one just conked out on me. I went with the cheapest and most basic one that I could find on the shelf, and thought it would be more than good enough since I wouldn't even use it that often.
Less than a week later I actually came across a much better hair dryer online for almost the exact same price as the lower end one I already bought. Unfortunately I didn't have my receipt any more but I thought I would try to return if for a refund anyways. Thankfully, even without a receipt they took it back no problem whatsoever and provided me with a full refund.
I really appreciate Walmart for their generosity in my situation and I do recommend them.
A few years ago in the middle of the Summer my back went out on me. As it loosened back up I started getting out of the house maybe too early and when it began locking up I had just arrived at the local Neighborhood Market. The clerks there did my shopping for me as I sat at the bench in their pharmacy area! How nice is that?! I know it was at least 3 of them rushing to help me hurry out and back home to get some relief. I will never forget their kindness that day! :)
They are to huge and they don't care about there consumers. Every time I step into a Walmart I get a dingy unclean feeling. Its because there reputation and customer service has been horrible for so long that they will never be able to change there brand around
I ordered an apple watch series 3 for my daughter's Christmas present early Black Friday morning from Walmart.com. I was so happy to be able to get it (confirmed pick up) for my daughter. My wife and I drove 45 minutes to the Walmart store for pickup and were told the order was cancelled by walmart.com. We called them and were told there is some glitch in the system and they will honor the black friday price when the watch is back in stock. It was back in stock on Sunday, re-ordered, and cancelled again. Now, we've missed the opportunities to search elsewhere. Very disappointed in this online purchase experience. Amazon has never once cancelled a confirmed (and charged) order and Walmart did it twice in one Cyber weekend to me.
Walmart online ordering is very bad if one want to return the damaged item. I ordered two selves with Walmart online order. The selves were send damaged in two packages. We called for return and they sent one QR code to take it to FedEx. FedEx told me that the QR code only prints one label which can not be used in 2 box. We called again and was told by the agent that there is no rush to return. They will send one label in next 10-15 days and second label will follow about 2-3 weeks after that. I have no choice but wait. This is last time I order any thing from Walmart online. I do not know how they are dreaming compete with Amazon with horrible return policies and bad customer care. One should think twice before using this business.
But you can't beat their pricing. I love shopping Walmart.com. More than shopping in store. They carry items you can't find in store. For example, I use Lime Away, but I can never find it at the store. Lime Away toilet tabs too! Didn't even know those exist! They also have many products, furniture manufactured by other companys' like Wayfair, Overstock, etc. If you hate shopping AT Walmart, then on line is the way to go.
I ordered eclipse glasses on August 8 for my entire family on walmart.com. Was advised delivery would be August 15. After numerous delays, they finally arrived on August 21, but at 3:00 PM, 90 minutes after the eclipse ended. My family is pissed off at me! Now walmart refuses to take a return or offer a credit. That is my last walmart order!
I can't count the number of times that I selected a grocery item because of the shelf price only to get to the checkout and find it's incorrect. I asked an associate about this and was told that prices are going up faster than they change them. What kind of answer is that? I find comparable grocery items at local grocery stores are generally much more expensive but they do an excellent job with shelf prices! No unwanted surprises at the checkout!
No accountability from Walmart Online. Ordered 2 chairs. We borrowed a truck, went to pick up the chairs 3 different times at walmart and each time they were not there. There was no notifications of delay, no information on tracking and no one had an answer. The price of chairs went up in price, my order was cancelled and I was told I had to re order the chairs. I will NEVER purchase form Walmart online again and will spread the dishonesty and lack of customer service far and wide. The distributors, corporate number and representatives will do nothing for the customer except put you on hold while assuming no responsibility for their errors. Is this how a major world wide corporation gets ahead. Its the worse experience I have ever had shopping online.
