Hi, i ordered a dress off of this website in april for my prom. I gave notice of 2 months and it did arrive in time.
The dress i ordered however was nothing like the model and so i had to return it. After a lot of hassle they agreed to give me a refund so i shipped it back to them (with a cost of £16).
After receiving the dress they then withdrew this statement and said they could only offer me a half refund which was NOT acceptable.

ADVICE!
1. pay via paypal and if you have any problems open a claim with them
2. When vponsale agree that if you cancel the claim they will refund you, DO NOT believe them
3. Escalate the paypal claim asap and tell them everything you can about how you are not satisfied, keep all emails and details and take pictures documenting your problem.

I managed to get a full refund when i contacted paypal and they were much more understanding. I am trying to put this on as many review sites as possible but i would advise you not to use this site as it has caused me way more trouble than it is worth!
I also managed to get a much nicer dress for more than half the price so i wouldnt bother!

I know that vponsale has had positive reviews but they were just lucky!

The dress was fantastic! It arrived in great time so I had time to try it on. It looked great on and the colour was lovely. My only criticism is that it was a bit long (that could be my fault with the measurements) and that towards the end of the evening there was some wire in the bust area that was beginning to poke through the fabric and dig into me.
Other than that, it was a great dress and I would buy from this site again, definitely!

I am VERY upset with these folks! If you need a dress that is custom made, DO NOT purchase from vponsale. I ordered a bridesmaid dress and a jacket and neither were "custom made". Despite submitting ALL of my measurements, the dress and the jacket did not fit. The jacket's sleeves were so small that I couldn't even put it on my arms. I measured the jacket with the aid of a dress maker and she also confirmed that the jacket's sleeve girth was significantly undersized for the measurements submitted. Also, she confirmed that the hip measurement of the dress was undersized for measurements submitted. I reported this to them with pictures of the measurements. They initially reported that they would make a new jacket in time but then a week later said that it wasn't enough time. Now I have a wedding in two weeks and will have to pay a hefty fee to get the dressed altered. The jacket will require extra fabric to be put back into it. The jacket alteration will cost more that the jacket cost. So, not only will they not custom make your dress but they won't correct any problems created. GO somewhere else!

Ordered a bridesmaid dress 2-8-11 and did not receive until 4-14-11. When I did receive the dress it was a nice dress just like in picture. However, 2 weeks after placing order I found out I was pregnant and would be 6 months pregnant at the time of the wedding. Site is very clear that orders cannot be altered once placed and I understood so ordered another dress on 6-14-11. This was on order #*******. The 2nd/replacement dress I received is not identical to the 1st dress although I ordered the exact same dress. The tulle on the dress is a diff shade of purple nowhere near the orig color and even the beading on the waist is diff! I have an email into them but I am extremely dissatisfied wiht this dress!

"Why did I not read these reviews first!? Writing as a very angry dissatisfied customer of this absolute joke of a company. After trying many many times to SPEAK to a member of staff, even throughout the night as their advertised opening hours are 1am-9am being in China, not once did anyone pick up. The online chat service is a sham.
Now to the actual dresses. I ordered 6 bridesmaids dresses, Firecracker colour with a flower shoulder detail, 3 different sizes. When they arrived, they were packed in a bin bag that had been celo-taped ridiculously tight, not a great first impression. The first thing i noticed was that the dresses were not the firecracker colour i had ordered but bright orange. I then started to look for the sizes (1 size 10,3 size 12's and 1 size 14) i realised that none of the dresses had size labels on them. So after trying on each individual dress to try and guess the sizes, it quickly become apparent that none of the dresses were the same in size. I would say i have an 8, a size 10, a size 11 (if that existed) etc etc...
Also, to make matters worse, not only were the flower details all different looking, the petals had strings of glue coming of them and some were even falling off. The satin waistbands had staple holes in them and the lining of the dress was horrid.
I have asked for a refund, to which they have refused. This is supposed to be a pleasant experience and they have caused me nothing but upset. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. "

If I could give this website negative stars I would. My mother recently ordered bridesmaids dresses for my sister's upcoming wedding. Not only did the dresses arrive and were the wrong sizes but they also did not look like the pretty dresses shown online. When my mom contacted the "company" they made her email them pictures of the girls unable to zip them up as proof they did not fit. In response the company asked my mom to have the dresses altered so they lace up the back! WTH? When she told them she just wanted her money back the response was she could ship them back at her expense (which they let her know was expensive) and they would refund her 40% of the dress cost. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and purchase dresses elsewhere. This Chinese crap of a business should be out of business!
