This company appears to be based out of China. They do NOT honor the return policy stated on their website. Although their website says they will provide a refund for non-custom sizes (which is what I bought), they now say they will only refund me 50% and I have yet to see even that. This after I spent $65 dollars on shipping to return the two dresses. After looking a other peoples reviews I noted that the company seems to have a canned set of responses that they just keep throwing at you. I will try to contest this through my credit card but I'm not holding out much hope. Lesson learned - review a site before you use it.
My dress cost €147-00 including postage. I have been charged €180.50 to my credit card, so not happy. I haven't received my dress yet, I hope that it lives up to my expectations. I have emailed the company and am awaiting a response and refund! Will keep you posted. It is very disappointing when on-line shopping has these errors, as it puts one off ordering on-line...
This is a warning to all that order from VOGUEMOMENTS... The order does not come with a return ticket. If what you ordered does not fit, it is very difficult to contact anyone who will give you a straight answer about the return. The return policy clearly states that merchandise can be returned if you contact the service department within 7 days of receiving the item. It has been almost 72 hours since I first contacted them and still no return ticket. The person I did contact last night said the factory wanted proof that the dress does not fit in the form of pictures. So I sent them and now the customer rep who I spoke with moments ago said the factory is closed for a national holiday and to wait another 24-48 hours to hear back... Oh and not to worry. Consider yourself warned.
Based on the return info on the website I ordered a standard sized dress. It arrived and I was appalled that it came from China. While decently made, it was of poor quality material and just not the look I was going for. I emailed immediately in an attempt to start the return process. I have made 3 separate returns requests. The first said to "take a picture of the dress or of myself taking my measurements" and they will "tell me where I went wrong or where they can help". Um no. I just want to return the dress. They responded nonsensically. I sent a new return request and was told that I would have to pay a 50% restocking fee as they made the dress to order. I am probably giving up and just going to take the dress to a consignment store. For your own sake, do not even consider ordering one of these dresses. I can guarantee that you will regret it.
After dealing with this company, or should say unable to make any connections with this company, I join the rest of the reviewers... STAY AWAY FROM voguemoments!. #1. They're return policy is a worthless waste of typing... they DO NOT honor it! #2. Their sizing is way off. A size 14 might fit a tiny size 8 Chinese lady... #3. If you deal with "the chat" their reps are very RUDE and don't even try to help you. I bought a dress from this company and now stuck with a tiny dress, made from the cheapest materials you could find. Oh, yea, it comes in a plastic bag crammed into a 9 X 18 X 3 box. How they were able to associate themselves with Vogue is beyond me! They are not even close to making even mediocre clothing. Unless, you want to waste your money and be totally disappointed, close your browser as soon as possible. VOGUE MOMENTS needs to be reported, ( I don't know to who... cause they are a money hungry company with absolutely no customer service!) Also I believe they have written there own reviews, you cannot find any positive reviews anywhere on the WWW! A word of WARNING! Stay away from www.voguemoments.com! Put them out of business by avoiding them!
I purchased a dress from this company. I paid $150 (this included expedited shipping for $23 and it still took 2 1/2 weeks to arrive) for a dress that was 4" too small across the back and measured 34" across the bust instead of 38" as per US size 12. I went back and forth (customer service will only handle these matters via email correspondense--no available phone number) via email and they told me to re-measure in case they mistakenly sized the dress wrong. They also state their dresses are custom made and cannot be returned (which they do not tell you when you make your purchase). I re-measured and sent pictures and they finally just told me that all of their dress are placed on a mannequin, they take pictures of each to prove the size is correct, it goes through quality inspection, and they provided a picture of this, and said I was obviously wrong and ordered the wrong size. I wrote back asking why they had me measure and send pictures when they obviously were not going to do right by me regardless. They offered me a $5 discount if I wanted to purchase the same dress in a larger size, but refused to allow me to exchange the dress I bought that doesn't fit. Their return/exchange policy states: For Custom Made item, if it does not fit properly but were made accurately according to your order specifications, you are eligible for a free, one-time-only re-sizing service. You are responsible for all shipping fees incurred. But they DO NOT stand behind their policy as all! Steer clear of this company because there is no chance of getting your money back. They do not even send a receipt with the item.
At first I was excited about this site because of the selection and price but as I tried to navigate and investigate the site I discovered too many red flags! I sent two questions and got no responses. I could not figure out how to make a consistent wish list that would show what I selected, and couldn't return using a search even using the exact wording of dresses I was looking for. All dresses if reviewed get a 5 star and I tried to read the reviews on a dress and there were comments about wigs as well as statements that could apply to any dress on the web site. Give me a break! Note too that all prices are slashed dramatically and come out to about the same cost across the board. Weird. Then I checked more of the information. The written information is grammatically wrong. Also because I was tired and although I never have done this I put in information so that I would have an account which required a password. They sent a confirmation with my password spelled out! I'm horrified and think this site is way to risky to place an order despite the fact that they carry more that I like than any site I've been too!
I ordered a dress from Voguemoments for my son's wedding. When it came, it was stuffed into a 9"x10"x3" box, rendering it wrinkled from top to bottom. When I unfolded it, it was obvious that the material was cheesy and the lacy parts of the dress were stiff and scratchy to the skin. The dress, despite the measurements and the fact that I ordered my usual size 4, was too small and looked terrible on me. When I tried to request a refund, they asked for photographs but I protested that the things I most disliked about it could not be revealed in a photograph. They continued to insist and asked me to understand. Their return policy states that you can return products that are non-custom, non-disposable and non-clearance. This dress was not a custom-made product. It came within a week of ordering, so it could not have been sewn and sent in such a short period of time besides the fact that I did not provide personal measurements. After several e-mails back and forth, it was obvious that they were not going to refund my money. As with the previous reviewer, there was no receipt or return information included with the dress, only a form with insurance value for shipping purposes stated at half of what I paid for the dress! I would completely steer clear of this company. They do not stand by their product, nor do they honor their own policies. Now I am stuck with this awful dress and have to purchase another dress for the occasion. Terrible company.
I wish I would have searched the business reviews before I ordered my dress. I ordered a dress without customizing my size. Return policy states you can receive a full refund if the dress is damaged within 7 days of receiving it. I received it... color was wrong the top was sewn uneven. The bottom looked like a curtain and the seams were loose. I could not wear this without it being altered. Only way to speak with customer service is via email. I knew from the first email this was going to end bad. I wanted to comply with the return policy and stay within the seven days. I paid to have the dress shipped back. I was told to keep the dress and give to my friend or family of try to sell it. They would attempt to give me a 10 percent discount on a new dress. Don't send the dress back and cut my losses. Wow! I sure hope my visa company will stand behind this fraudulent business practice and honor my refund. I go to the website now and they are instructed to obtain an attorney due to copywrite infringement. I can't believe this happened. The initial court document has a date of January 4th 2016. Wish this would have been on the site right away because I ordered on January 9th.
Answer: I went back and forth with this business many many times. I FINALLY got a return address but it is in China, so I am extremely hesitant to return the product for a 50% refund on the purchase due to the high likelihood that something will go amiss based on my experiences so far. I will probably just try to resell the dress locally and NEVER order from this company again. They offered me $15 to keep the dress so I may agree to that and see what happens. I don't have high hopes.
