I paid $157 for a $40 seat for the Indian Wells Tennis tournament. A total ripoff. I didn't read the small print carefully enough.
Later I bought a much better ticket for $100 on line from the actual venue.

Screwed by Vivid Seats! I bought tickets that were supposed to be CENTER SECTION and received FAR LEFT seats on a BARSTOOL. I sent email, they refused a refund and suggested I resell them. They promoted I resell them on their site. They made steam come out of my ears. I called their phone number on their site, there's no way to actually talk to a human, just a phone tree of b. S. that's on their website. I registered claim against them thru PayPal, which I expect to win. Since I registered the claim they have suddenly given me a phone number to call *******499). I did not call since I made a claim through PayPal. After you file a claim you're not to have correspondence with seller except through PayPal. So I emailed them the claim number and told them to contact me through that.
Oh and those two tickets I bought were for $50 each on their site. Total cost $134.98. That's $34.98 for 2 tickets that are in the form of a PDF that I download and print. W T F
