Vivid Seats - Customer Care Complaint

Hello my name is Adrian Mitchell,

I have used Vivid Seats for multiple events and have been satisfied thus far. Unfortunately my recent experience with them and upholding their policies has been unacceptable. I spoke with Senior Customer Care Specialist - Jela and she refused to let me speak to her supervisor. I explained to her that due to the person I purchased my tickets from providing me the tickets two days late resulted in me having to cancel my plans. I was told the tickets would be here on Saturday 20 November 2021 but I did not receive them till 11:43am 22 November 2021. I had already had to cancel my plans and no longer was in the city so I am unable to attend the event. I emailed the company on Saturday also requesting that my tickets be accredited to my account but Jela told me that this was not something she could do. She did not show me good customer service. I am considering not using this app or service again. If they cannot uphold their policy or ensure their customers get their tickets in a timely manner.

Buyer beware

Buyer Beware. Bought tickets a month in advance. Life happens and could not go to the concert. They would not refund/cancel and did not send me the ticket until just hours before the start of the concert so I could not even try to re-sell them.

Stay away from this service!

Stay away from this service! They charged a $140.00 service fee. When your service is horrible and cost more than your tickets that is bad! We didn't receive our tickets until two hours prior to the event and the location was a tow and a half hour drive for us so we were very concerned we were not getting our tickets. In the end you are better off buying from Ticket Masters or a shady dude with a trench coat in an alley.

I bought tickets for an event. 2 days before the event I received an email urging me to respond to an email I never got in order to download tickets. I called for assistance. The person couldn't help, so she cancelled my tickets and tried to reissue them. The seller never responded so I was left with no tickets. I attempted to use the "insurance guarantee" to recoup my money. They refused since not getting my tickets was not included in their reasons for reimbursement. Both are scams!

This has been the worst experience of any company I have ever used for anything. At this point I have spent hours of my life trying to get a refund or credit for a concert they cancelled, as it says they will do in their agreement upon purchase. They continue to transfer and put on hold and then just hang up and do not respond to emails.

I went on to the Vivid Seats website and searched for seats to an event. I selected the seats I want and went through the purchase process. When I clicked the purchase button, I received a message stating that someone had purchased my tickets - there was no confirmation page or anything - it just kicked me back to the spot where I could choose other seats. I then went to another ticketing site and purchased tickets.

THEN I get an email from Vivid Seats congratulating me on my purchase... and they had charged my card.

I contacted Vivid Seats through their online chat and also spoke to a manager via voice and they refused to cancel the order.

THEIR website messed up... and now I am stuck with the tickets. It's a scam.

Vivid is Terrible! No way to contact a seller? What year are we in? People need to communicate. Big oversight on Vivid. Also, chat feature and phones rarely work, "Busier than expected." Better companies expect to and plan for being busy. Not Vivid. Instructions for, "I lost the email that contained the link to download my e-tickets. Can you re-send it?" are outdated/inaccurate. Get it together Vivid!

Actually, I give them a negative star amount. They owe us a refund from cancelled convert. Have we gotten it... no! They won't return our emails. We can't ever get someone to talk to us. They are crooks! I am pissed! What's so funny is they have some type of guarantee! The company and employees are void of any integrity. I guess it's time to call an attorney. Call me crazy but I refuse to let this go

I bought tickets to an event that was cancelled. Vivid seats refuses to refund my money stating the event has been "postponed." The event has no postponed date and I have been notified through the venue it was cancelled. Vivid seats customer service is absolutely no help and told me to resell my tickets to make some money back. There was no solution ever offered but sorry you can't get a refund. Their tickets are completely up-charged and their customer service is awful! Do not buy from them and lose your money like I did. I've lost $473 for an event that was cancelled and the event itself refunded their customers my biggest mistake was using vivid instead of the event website itself. I'll never make that mistake again and I hope you don't either!

WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM VIVID SEATS! I AM WRITING THIS IN THE UTMOST INTEGRITY. I AM DISABLED AND ALWAYS PURCHASE ISLE OR END SEATS. I AM A BIG GUY AND SUFFER FROM SCIATICA BAD BACK AND ANXIETY AND MY WIFE SITS NEXT TO ME. I BOUGHT TWO TICKETS TO THE EAGLES IN PHOENIX ON SEPTEMBER 25. WHICH IS MY WIFE BIRTHDAY.WE DECIDED TO STAY THE WEEKEND SEEING PHOENIX IS 4 HOURS AWAY. SO WE ARRIVED AT OUR SEATS AND THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ISLE. NOW I ALWAYS TALK TO A LIVE AGENT AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE ISLE SEATS. SO WE TRIED TO GET THEM CHANGED AT THE FOOTPRINT CENTER AND THEY WOULD HAVE FOR $200 MORE WHICH I DO UNDERSTAND BUT I WAS TOLD BY VIVID THESE WERE ISLE SEATS AND WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY MORE. FOOTPRINT DID SAY THEY WOULD PUT US IN A SUITE WITH 12 OTHER PEOPLE AND WAS DIRECTLY ON THE SIDE OF THE STAGE. SO WE DECIDED TO GET OUR TICKETS SCANNED TO PROVE WE DID NOT ATTEND THE SHOW. NOW THE BIG PROBLEM IS THAT YOU WILL NEVER GET A HOLD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ITS A 200 MINUTE WAIT FOR THEM, THEN THEY HANG UP. EMAIL IS LIKE ROBOTIC. I ALSO BOUGHT ROLLING STONES TICKETS FOR NOVEMBER 6 AND THEY ALSO ARE NOT ISLE SEATS IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF ANYONE FOR A MONTH AND NOBODY WILL CALL EMAIL TXT NOTHING. SO NOW I AM OUT OVER A $1000 AND THEY COULD CARE LESS. THAT WEEKEND ALSO COST US $1000 SO PLEASE DO NOT GO THROUGH A 3rd PARTY, GO THROUGH TICKET MASTER DO NOT GET YOUR TICKETS THROUGH VIVID SEATS. Moon River Festival

I was charged by Vivid Seats for two seats and I never received the tickets nor were we allowed in the festival using the email that we were sent by Vivid seats (they said they had not received anything showing that the tickets were paid for). Then when we tried to get in touch with Vivid to resolve the issue, they were not available to phone, online chat, email, nothing! We're filing suit against them for fraud.

I tried to order concert tickets for my nephew online then I tried calling. I was able to order the tix but then it was cancelled for some unknown reason. I called again and after a 45 min wait, I finally got Jose who walked me through the whole process of accessing my tix and then transferring them to my nephew. If it wasnt for Jose, my nephew would have missed out on the concert. I live out of state otherwise I would have went directly to the venue to get the tixs!
