They have been taking far more from our account after the contract was up than the service is worth. I have been on the phone waiting for literally 4 hours over 3 phone calls to cancel my service and still they have not answered. They just keep putting me in different queues that have no-one responding.

I can honestly say this is the worst company that I have EVER had to deal with. They have bad business practices where customers are sold products on the promise of better services, their monthly broadband packages are exorbitant and they keep hiking their prices regularly for a service that is unstable and unreliable. Some staff seem to want to do a good job, but a culture of "we're too big to fail" means that moreover, the better staff do their best with services that are flawed. Customer care is poor, with some bulldogs in there who are aggressive and unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend Virgin Media as their services are problematic and dealing with them is very stressful!

Tried to move internet & broadband with virgin media, was not tied into a contract, and was dearer than other suppliers, but decided to stay with VM for simplicity… big mistake! Still no service, new Vm box was to be delivered twice this week & got confirmation of time & date. No VM box still.

Do not enter this nightmare guys, I contracted a sim mobile plan from them and even after canceling the contract and paying everything, with the attendant confirming that everything is settled and canceled (after 50 minutes on the phone), I just received an email with a bill to be paid next month. Here we go again to more stress

Useless. NOTHING WORKS. And they will assume you're an idiot. Pages dont work. Apps dont work. Cannot logon anywhere. Account numbers dont work. Support does not work. Chat bot sucks and does not work. They dont answer the phone. This is so frustrating i am cancelling.

The worst mobile operator with whom I had the misfortune to use services, constant problems with sending and receiving text messages. For over a month I have been trying to transfer my number to another operator and all this time virgin mobile makes it difficult for me to resign from their pseudo services, incompetent people work in company salons, claiming that they cannot help me with anything, 1908 still answered me at the given telephone number automatic, after a month I managed to contact the operator who demanded explanations why I want to resign from their services, then he assured me that the problem with the number porting will be solved and after 3 days the problem still exists and I can't transfer the number. To all those interested in the services of this network, I strongly advise against using the services of the operator of the Virgin Mobile network!

I waited 35 days until they came to install the broadband, after one month stop working, I am waiting now for 7 days without service, no Internet at all, if you calling them you wait 1 h for operator to answer, it is worse Internet you can get in Dublin

I have a simple query to resolve. Over the past 2 days, I've contacted the whatsapp chat, the online chat and the phone help desk. No one answered. I stayed on hold for over an hour before hanging up out of frustration. This isn't the first time I'm having issues with these clowns, if you can, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I have given you time to send me a copy. You not only told lies and slandered me.You lied about what I had said to a prisoner. You also disclosed my private health information. My husband hired Virgin for our home in Dublin and we were very pleased with it, however we had to move to a more distant town called Athy and at my address R14 YP52 Virgin unfortunately does, but I'd like to be confined with Virgin. And that's why we had to cancel our contract in less than a month of use I understand that this is not our fault because you are the ones who do not serve the area in which I moved. My husband called to request a cancellation, and we were told he would have to pay for the cancellation, however my husband doesn't speak english very well and the person who answered him spoke so fast he just nodded. I don't know if this complaint will change anything as we shouldn't have to pay for the cancellation since it was your mistake for not meeting our needs. I will go on all social media to post my disappointment.

Horrendous. Staff are ill informed. Make up answers, put no notes on your file and you never hear from them again. Then you call up and have to start all over again - 4/5 times! I was quite sceptical about media providers, having had very bad experiences with two major competitors. Virgin was my last resort, and they seemed almost helpful when I contacted them by phone.The 'Self' installation involved a few further calls, but each time I was speaking to someone in minutes, as opposed to circa 40 minutes. My last interaction has just finished, and it was a visit by their engineer Glen Geraghty. I understand that Glen is still under supervision, as his minder Mark called to see how he was getting on. Well, if Glen is representative of the people Virgin are recruiting, then there will only be one provider in a few years. He was so totally committed, explaining everything as he went along, and refusing to leave until he was fully satisfied that we were perfectly happy with everything. If Carlsberg did Media... Indeed!

With Virgin Mobile, It's problem after problem. There is absolutely no customer service. This Whatsapp contact facility is pitiful. No matter when you contact them, regardless of the time of day. You will be left waiting indefinitely, I have been on Whatsapp for 6 hours waiting on a reply to a simple question, and it's that way constantly... I have sent complaints, but they are ignored and remain unanswered. Their mobile coverage is the worst... dropped calls, no signal, no data. In areas where coverage should be solid. How any company can be allowed to treat customers like this and get away with it is absolutely shocking... I'm just about 3 months with them, and I can honestly say from the very start it has been an experience... If you value an easy life for Jesus sake... Avoid this shower of wasters... Or you will end up like me.!

Got my new 360 box 3 months ago. When i try to connect box it says can't retrieve account. I have spent up to an hour & a half per session trying to get through without success. I have WhatsApp them to be told that I'm through to wrong place. To try email service in other section no success there either. I then emailed the complaints section & got email back to say someone would contact me inside 10 days. I'm still waiting. A joke of a company

I will not recommend Virgin Media to anyone. I purchased a bundle of 30 euro per month broad band and 400 minutes international calls. I was told all I have to pay 30 euro for 4 months after that 60 euro per month for 12 months. I only Purchased this bundle. Very first bill was 60.30 euro second month 167. Euro. When i called them they said i used international calls for the first month. Now, still it shows 297.10. Stay away from this company and their service.If u ever use strictly take extra caution.

Hold times of over 2 hours. I'd avoid this service as there seems to be no customer service put in place but they are fast enough to cut your service if you're short on a payment due to losing my job over the Corona. We have to be understanding with them over the Corona impact but they can't be understanding to us. Cancelling contract as soon as someone bothers to answer the call.

Pre-historic speed and appaling customer service. A good indication was the change of company without even so much as an information brochure. The competition are making it easy. Find another provider as quickly possible would be my advice. Over the phone as computer says NO.

The worst experience I have ever had with any company
1. Atrocious customer support - took me multiple attempts to cancel. Constantly left on hold and hung up on.
2. MyVirginMedia account information- I have never been able to access my bills online. Errors constantly come up and prevent me. When I went in store to report they said this was an ongoing issue. I've been a customer for 2 years and not once had access a bill.
3. Access to roaming - Have been unable to activate my mobile data abroad. Despite calling to report the issue before travelling, while I was abroad and up return the next trip I was still unable. With no access myvirginmedia account so am not able to activate it there. Again left on hold for extended lengths and never resolved. Told it was my phones issue bought a new phone an problem persisted.

Warning STAY AWAY! Signed up for my daughter. Was told unlimited data, calls and texts to any network on contract for 25 per month. Constantly being overcharged for data. Bills range from 97 to 150 euro per month. Even though they advertise Unlimited date it up to a max of 30 GB per month. Have checked the data usage on the phone and the max she used in any month was 14 GB. The same month I got a bill saying she used 42 GB and a bill for 150 euro. Customer service just keep fobbing me off. It's all a con Stay away!

32 bad reviews says it all... the biggest tv and braodband provider in ireland and you cant even get the biggest fight of the year on it... you ring up and its the same thing they say 8 months ago its coming soon! But this time one of the reps said he has a loop hole after i went are your really not showing the fight... so he told me to sign up to ufc fight pass and buy the subscription and doing so you get a 30 day trail and one fight card for free... a load of pony he told me just to get me off the phone id say... sort it out virgin 32 bad reviews dont lie
