The $40 teaser purchase was a decent buy though most of the wines i have never heard of.
I signed, put a hold on all shipments and went on vacation.
Came back, two boxes on my porch, $333 in wine i didn't order, wine that either i can't fine anywhere or i can buy locally for 25% less.
So i contacted "customer service", some guy named Kyle. Nice enough. I wanted to send the wine back. He said policy is no refunds for returns but he can give a 20% discount if i decide to keep them.

But here's the catch: you have to pay $36 for shipping 6 bottles, $42 for 9 bottles. So it's not really free.
But i didn't order them, i put my account on hold. They say there is no record of that. Hum. Guess i should have made a screen shot.
One box had 6 bottles, they charged me $140. All of those wines i can get locally for $100.
The other box had 9 bottles, they charged my $194. Most of the wines i have never heard of. About half i found locally for $12 a bottle, not $20. The others I can't find, but most wines i've never heard of, i've never heard of for a reason...
I paid by check and they tried to cash the check two times electronically. I noticed on my bank statement that the amount had been deducted twice from my checking account on 2 different dates, and then my back reimbursed me for the overpayment. Sketchy.
This company is completely disreputable. Their guarantee comes with only a 45 day satisfaction policy. If you buy a case like i did i did not get to their disgusting wines until after 45 days. Do not participate in their offers. You will be sorry.
Got the $39 box. Nothing special but a good value. Called and cancelled after hours dialing and on hold. Then a few days later a $149 box of unordered and unwanted wine arrived. Cant reach them, put the charge in dispute. They can pick up the box, never opened it. What a pack of jerk offs. AVOID!
Good luck trying to cancel with this company! There is no one answering phones because of the covid-19 and they refer you to a an agent online but it is always saying offline no agent available! So through their website I reached out to their customer service and have tried twice now to get someone to respond and no one is answering my emails! Right now I have a box of unwanted wine, unopened, and I'm trying to either send it back or not be charged for.
Stay away. I signed up for extra points with my rewards program. Paid too much for mediocre wine. Got my 1st points loaded but never got the 2nd points. Told me they were sent and to wait 10-14 days until they would post. Going on 6 weeks and still nothing. They won't respond to me anymore.
Similar to other folks, I signed up for the first shipment, received a ton of emails about wine offers but none confirmed the shipment of a monthly order. When that came, the shipping fees exceeded the per bottle expense. I tried several times to log on to the site, asked for a password reset and it never came. Just cancelled. Don't do this one. I much prefer Nakedwines.com. (and, No, I don't work for them.)
My introductory offer of six wines were sent to me and not one of the six wines listed in their brochure were sent to me. They mentioned the fine print about their ability to substitute wines... and they substituted ALL SIX!. What kind of company gets away with this? Glad I paid with a check so that they can't bill my credit card for any further shipments. No offer to return their shipment, no concern when I cancelled membership. What kind of company operates this way?
This company is a scam. Please please do not order any wine from here. It is not good and they scam you into a "wine club" with bad tasting wine that is way overpriced. Please save yourself the time and headache and do not purchase ANY wine from them. I ended up being forced to take (because I signed for it without knowing what it was) 6 disgusting bottles that I'd have to pay to return and take a "restocking fee" deduction and the wine is gross. Do not buy or get sucked into this scam!
I ordered the introductory special. I then received a shipment of 6 wines ($144) without warning. I have been a member of other wine clubs where you at least get a notification that a shipment is on its way. Avoid Vinesse at all costs.
Became a member because of airline mileage, however, airline cancelled my miles anyway. The quality of the wine was not for me. 4 or 5 bottle went down the drain.
The taste of alcohol was very strong. The customer service rep was very polite & explained that the next shipment could be refused and credit issued. I probably will
Keep the shipment due to the reviews about the hazzle to get credit.
Substandard wines. No way to cancel without calling. They won't even let you if you email customers service. So inconvenient. And the way they surprise you with automatic deliveries and charges for wine you don't want is ridiculous!
Awful wine club! I tried this out (like a sucker) for the original introductory offer. They tacked on an extra charge without my consent on the next round, and called it a "holiday special." In fact, the wine was terrible, and the charge showed up on my card without them telling me. When I called to complain, they refused to give me a refund!
I did this to earn American Airlines miles... started well (I never did get the miles though) but set it up for quarterly delivery because I was going to be going away shortly after I sign up... delivery came monthly... so there were 2 deliveries when I got home from my winter trip... tried to go into my account to change again back to quarterly... the site said my username and password were wrong but only gave the option to change my password which I couldn't do since it said my username was wrong... sent an email to customer service... kept getting a message saying unattended mailbox... finally found a phone number (hate having to call!) And just said cancel...
They ship in advance of when they say they will say and then don't let you know until you get a Fedex. Therefore, you don't have a chance to refuse the shipment.
Then, if you refuse you get hit with a $40 charge for NOTHING!
This club is totally different than others i have dealt with.
Never buy from them!
I will try to dispute through my credit card company.
I cancelled my membership but they sent an automatic shipment anyway. I called they apologized and told me to refuse it. I did it was returned but they are trying to charge me $65 shipping and refuse to refund my $165 payment saying I only get a $100 store credit for future purchases. This shipment was after I cancelled the club and now I have to file a civil lawsuit. Never fall for their gimmicks they lie.
This wine shipper is not honest in what they advertise, ship and charge. I filled out the offer of 6 bottles for 49.99 ( no where on the paper - and I looked closely - did it state I was also signing up for auto ship. Not only did they charge me $127.26 instead of the 49.99 (which NO ONE would help me get it reduced! They just DON"T care) they then charged my card for $257.00 for an auto ship two months later. I called and tried to get help, but they don't care - I refused the shipment, but still got billed for the shipping and "restocking" charge. RIPOFF COMPANY!
SCAM ALERT! Whatever you do not sign up to any of their wine clubs. Aside from wines being overpriced and not good. Once they have your credit card it is EXTREMELY difficult to cancel. I tried to cancel three times. I was charged again again for wine deliveries that I could not receive because I had moved out of state. The last unauthorized charge overdrew my account which incurred multiple Bank fees, which the do not see themselves responsible for. I've now cancelled all cards they may have had on file. Save yourself the aggravation and go to TJ's
Ordered from this company about six months ago. Wine order was mediocre. Received a letter dated December 10th informing me that they would begin charging membership fees for legal reasons and that I would be charged a membership fee sometime within the next 30 days and provided a voucher for the membership amount to essentially get my money back in discounts. When I checked by credit card statement, they had already charged me the membership fee on the date the letter was created. Essentially, ensuring that I would have to order more wine in order to get my money back. I never gave them permission do charge me, nor did they give me time to cancel my membership. I was able to dispute the charge through my credit card company, but it was definitely a shady tactic to try to lock me into more wine purchases.
I wish I had read these reviews before falling for the SCAM that these con-artists are doing. First, the wines are poor quality, and they cost about $25. Per bottle. I decided to cancel my credit card because I do not trust them. I called to cancel my membership, but I am taking an extra step of protection by cancelling my card on file. BUYER BEWARE!
Hello Patrick, I can assure you that if your membership is cancelled, no charges will be placed on your account without your authorization. We apologize that the shipments did not meet your standards, and we do have a satisfaction guarantee for anytime this happens. Please take a moment to review it on our website or give us a call and let us see what we can do for you.
Answer: I don; t know what the policy is. They did agree to cancel the monyhly membership after much talking but claimed the box of wine had been sent out. They asked me not to accept the wine but UPS delivered it to a neighbor, therefore, I had to pick it up and return it. I had to pay UPS for returning the wine. It cost me money and I got no value.
Answer: I am in the same position! The website isnt even working and I cant find a phone number

Dear Karen G.,
We appreciate taking the time to send us your review about your wine club membership experience. I am sorry to hear the scheduling of the wine club orders were not properly set to once every 3 months (quarterly), the difficulty to access your membership account online, and trying to contact us via email. Depending on the timing of when the wine club shipments were delivered, to the time the membership account was canceled, you likely did earned some bonus air miles with American Airlines. Based off your posted review, I am unable to verify your canceled membership account to check on the earned miles. At your earliest convenience, can you please either reply back in a private message or contact our customer service line at 1-800-823-5527 so we can further assist you? Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM PT - 5:00 PM PT. Thank you.
