Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!

Very cheap products very flimsy the boards that make the coop were all splintered and uneven it's not a sturdy product very unsafe for my chickens it's very wobbly pour directions no concrete clear directions on how to put the product together you did not receive the right screws to put the coop together and you did not receive all the pieces to put the chicken run together as well I would never order from you again because I can see that your products are cheap and if they are flimsy and if they are not well put together and they are not good quality products not worth the $500 I spent on the products I will choose somewhere else to go to replace them

Unable to reach customer service

Emailed multiple questions, multiple btimes over the last couple weeks never once got a response, requesting information on covers and replacement cushions. Also, product arrived damaged.

Never, Ever order from this company

I ordered four XLvidal Sunlounger chairs from Overstock.com. Vidal was listed as a third party seller.My husband had a really hard time assembling them as the parts were difficult to put together.(Unfortunately I usually do this and would have noticed it sooner.) After two months of light use the joints started to come apart and wood was splitting on all four chair around the assembled prices. When a whole arm popped off I saw the joints were covered in wood glue with splinters in the mortise holes. We did not use any glue. Evidently these chairs had been assembled and broken apart to ship and sell. Overstock escalated my request for a full refund with Vidal and someone named Diane offering me a refund of 499 dollars on a purchase of $1500. 00. I declined. After more complaints to Overstock they sent an email requesting my email address(so Overstock could no longer monitor the case).
This was their response:
" er Comment: Dear Sir/Madam,

We are so sorry for the unsatisfied purchase and we are willing to solve the problem.
According to the reply of our other departments, we can only provide you with return for full replacement service, and please send us your Email address.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.As always please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

I do not even know what that means do I pay to ship the chairs back after taking them apart and then wait for them to replace them if they ever do? I will be starting a case with my credit card company directly.

Need better assembly instructions

Item took 2 months to arrive. Emailed multiple times for updates but ignored. Online tracking not up to date. Finally got call from courier to arrange delivery. Booked delivery for 2 days later but courier showed up the next day. Luckily someone was home to receive delivery. Courier quite literally dumped it on the pavement and drove away. After dismantling the pallet and carrying it in, we realised there were NO PRE-DRILLED HOLES, the WOOD WAS SPLIT in several places and it was COVERED IN MOULD. I reported this immediately to customer service via email. A couple of WEEKS LATER and several emails later, I'm STILL WAITINGFOR THE COURIER TO COLLECT IT. Chat not working on Vidaxl website and no phone numbers to call. Customer service REFUSING REFUND until courier collects. Absolutely SHOCKED and DISGUSTED by this company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Arrived in good time and fine condition

Nice to have a resource for gabion cages & fencing. Easy shopping, great selection too. In our windy climate no wood fence holds up. Gabion is a smart option.

Stay Away! We ordered a lounge chair. After putting it together we noticed the bamboo was defective. Contact customer service and they ask for pics and video which we provide. Then they ask us to take entire thing apart, repackage and drop off to UPS. We do it. They promise they will send a new replacement and process and exchange. They refund me saying it's out of stock. I go on line to double check and they are showing stock. I place a new order to not miss out but pay more and figure they can just credit me the difference. After everything we went though they refused to credit the difference. Now I am waiting for the item to arrive so I can send it back for returns to purchase it cheaper from Overstock. Go figure. Who happens to offer excellent customer service should there be any issues. Be very careful depending on what you are buying from this company. Really disappointed. They should pay us for all the time and hassle we have spent to end up with nothing from them in the end. Shameful.

Worst priduct

I purchased a storage branch. Doesn't protect the pillows I store. Water gets in and I don't recommend. Very expensive not useful I wish I could give it back.

I purchased (4) butterfly chairs totaling over $600
(set of black and white and set of brown and white). Brown and white were purchased separately. One of the black and white chairs is missing a part, and is poorly constructed (has cowhide sticking out of places it should not, has bald spots, and does not match the picture advertised.
I reached out to Overstock to resolve the issue,( full refund) but was told since it was pass the return date and to be fair to its customers, it was nothing they could do. I informed them that I would be providing feedback on several platforms regarding my experience with Vidaxl, and then I was informed they would transfer the case to the escalation dep. My question is if they live by their brand standards as it pertains to customer care, why was this option not offered to me in the beginning? After receiving several computer generated responses, I received a real response from a representative of the Escalation Dep. Informing they couldn't offer a refund just a replacement. I asked questions regarding the return process like ( would a free return label be offered, what carrier service I needed to return the item to, or would they provide pick up service). None of the questions were answered. I was informed that if I agreed to the return, a label would be created. A few more computer generated responses were sent, before a real representative reached out to offer a partial payment of $40.00 if I chose to keep the chair that I can't use. THIS COMPANY HAS SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Don't buy anything from Vida XL they are a scanZ they will send you broken damaged items and then they won't accept returns. If you do send back the return damaged pieces they will claim they did not receive all the boxes etc… just so they won't refund your money. DO NOT BUY anything from them you will waste your money and your time.

VidaXL, found them by accident

I had just purchased a new, larger television and I was in need of a larger tv stand. I looked in several stores and everything I saw seemed kind of expensive for some particle board BS. $300 for that cheap crap? And they all looked very generic, no style. I started looking online and found a few things that I actually liked on some other websites. I almost purchased from one of them. At checkout, it told me that my purchase was from an individual seller and not the original retailer of the stand, and therefore would probably not be covered by warranty. I REALLY loved this particular piece, so I searched for where I could buy it directly. Lo and behold, it was VidaXL. I had never heard of them but reviews of the company by customers were all very positive regarding the quality of product and the customer service received. And that same stand was $20 less than from the individual seller. I was a little spooked that I couldn't get an exact shipping date but I went ahead and ordered. It came within 3 days. It was fully assembled, I had only to put the feet and knobs on. It's 100% mango wood and it's BEAUTIFUL! I get compliments on it from everyone. I only wish they had some matching end tables. I would absolutely order from them again.

Overall pretty good

The gazebo is nice. A lot of the metal frame was bent up and it took time to bend them straight, and I would like to have heavier curtains for the winter..

VidaXL dog kennel
September 9, 2020

The dog kennel was not up to snuff, chain link fence was very weak. When stretched it allowed our dog to push through, believe it this happened. Would have been better to build one myself.
