VP suppied a tap set with missing parts. I have raise a query and sent emails with the details 3 times and still had NO response other than requests to send the same information again. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Use them at your own risk..

Dont use! Scammers!

Dont use this company, very poor customer service! Ordered some tiles which were delivered on Saturday broken, notified them right away, still no call regarding replacements by the wednesday so after chasing them I was told they couldnt replace like for like as they had none left in stock for two weeks however I had booked the work for a week after delivery but my plumber isfully booked for the rest of the month. Instead of indemnifying me with similair tiles these scammers at Victorian Plumbing tried to charge me an extra nearly £200 for similair tiles following their error and not being able to provide like for like straight away. Absoloutely useless scammers. Would never use and never reccomend to anyone!

Returns. What returns?!

I've always been a big fan of Victorian plumbing - quick delivery, affordable and efficient. However after our builder told us we had ordered our shower tray in the wrong size I was flabbergasted that there was no real exchange policy. Unlike it's counter part Victoria plumb' who offer to collect and exchange to the right size, Victoria plumbing offered no such thing. Instead we had to arrange our own courier, this turned out to be a massive fuss, as the shower tray was both heavy and fragile. Anyway we got our extra cover with the courier to ensure that any damage would be compensated. We never opened the parcel when it was originally delivered, it was still wrapped in its original packaging when we returned it, so for all we knew it could have been damaged by Victorian plumbing themselves on delivery, however when it arrived back at the returns depot there was some minor damage, having already spent £200 on a new shower tray this meant that we actually spent £400 in total as Victoria plumbing were not obliged to refund us any of the money, nor offer to send our property back to us in case we were able to re-sell ourselves. Guarantee it's on some bargain buy shelf as we speak, as from the very very blurry photos that were sent, the damage could be barely made out. Unfortunately as it was a fragile object our couriers were also unable to compensate. In sum if you're not sure on sizes, make sure to order from Victoria plumb because at least they have a reasonable returns / exchange policy, and won't rob you at the same time, despite being a regular customer..

Ordered a couple of toilet seats at the same time so we had a spare. On opening the packaging the product had a large dent in it which was not visible from the external packaging. When I contacted Victorian Plumbing customer services they told me that because I did not inspect it and advise them within 30 days that they would not do anything. So basically they think its my responsibility to review in 30 days and if I don't then they take no responsibility and expect me to accept damaged goods. This is completely contrary to my statutory rights where I have a right to goods of satisfactory quality which cannot be waived (sale of goods act). Luckily as a solicitor I know this. For anyone in same situation see the "which" website which provides the actual legal position which Victorian Plumbing seem to ignore.

Their customer service clearly has no idea about the law or good customer services and now I have to progress this with their complaints department and possible legal action.

Very disappointing for such a large company that have purchased from many times before. Never again.

Be warned.

Absolute JOKE of a company. I ordered the wrong size shower - my mistake fair enough. I had to pay £75 to get a courier to send the shower back as this company were only accepting drop off returns 100 miles away from my home! Anyway, today i have received an email saying I won't get a refund of £275 because it's apparently damaged? THERE IS NO DAMAGE ON THE IMAGES AND IT'S EXACTLY HOW IT WAS WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED TO ME!
They're holding MY MONEY and conning me out of a refund! I WILL take this situation FURTHER.

Appalling customer service after their mistake

We bought a toilet pan with matching toilet seat (or so we thought) together with other items from this company. It arrived in June but our contractor was not starting work on the cloakroom til last week. Although we checked that nothing appeared damaged or broken it did not occur to us to check that the seat was the right one and that it would fit - which of course it did not. We ordered a d-shaped top fitting soft close seat and what we got was a cheap and nasty one with the wrong fitting, and which did not even fit over the hole. As soon as this was discovered first thing yesterday I rang VP, had to wait 15 mins at my expense to talk to someone, who asked me to email a photo - which I did. I expalined it was urgent and as I heard nothing by mid-afternoon I "live chatted" with another rep who said he would look out the email and get back to me - again nothing. I rang at lunchtime today, spoke to another rep who after putting me on hold for a while came back to me to say they would do nothing as it was more than 14 days since they delivered and I should have checked previously. Disgraceful - both in the lack of customer service for their mistake (and they have the correct one in stock - I checked) and the lack of courtesy by not replying. If this is how they treat customers, and I cannot be the first, they do not deserve to have any. I assume they rely on the fact that their company name is almost Victoria Plumb (another cheap ploy) and hope to garner some of that firm's reputation. Would not buy from them again under ANY circumstances.

Very poor. I ordered a number of large items and paid extra for their "Diamond Delivery" which on the delivery info page is described as follows:

Diamond Pallet Delivery
This service removes all the common issues found with larger shipments.
Your delivery will be handled by a specialist team who are expertly trained in this area.
Selecting this option enables you to agree a suitable day for your delivery (from Monday - Friday).
Your goods will be taken to the specific room of your choosing upon arrival. All boxes are removed from their pallet and excess delivery packaging & pallets are then removed - which means no more heavy lifting or unwanted delivery packaging.

However far from being able to agree a suitable date for delivery I was told when delivery would take place which was nearly 2 weeks later. I was given a 2 hour delivery slot which was not honoured and an hour after the delivery slot I received a text changing the delivery slot with no reference to me no warning nothing.
When I called Victorian Plumbing to complain their "customer service" rep was most unhelpful and basically could not give a monkeys.
I will never use them again

Disgraceful, offered free delivery over £500 then charged me £125, despite me living in Mainland UK, with 4 day delivery. Ordered 20 11 16, and on the 23rd they told me it would be 4 days, I have this in writing. This should be 4 days, so the 27th, but allowing for 4 working days this is the 29th. I have taken today off for the delivery, and the plumber is coming tonight and tomorrow to fit. VP now tell me its 01 or 02 December delivery. Disgraceful antics, poor customer serivce, not helpful on phone or email or facebook. I have a day wasted and now will have to pay joiner and plumber for booking them but no show of equipment. I have 2 people here to help me take delivery who I have to pay, we are not around Thursday or Friday

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Please please please do yourself a favor and avoid any of the Chatsworth range at all costs!

I purchased this whole bathroom suite last year and all of the unites have completely buckled and cracked and the mdf has started to become exposed! This happened just months after purchase, despite me keeping the bathroom as dry as possible! All the reviews I have read state the same I am gutted I didn't read beforehand. MDF is not fit to use in a bathroom and Victoria plumbing should know better but of course they only care about taking peoples money!

This is awful quality and NOT fit for Purpose! The customer service has also been completely appalling! Will never purchase from Victoria plumbing again!

UPDATE: Still no one has reached out to fix this issue just s standard unsatisfactory response! Sink Unit is also buckling now too! I am a single mum who works really hard and saved up all my money for a new bathroom very sad indeed how companies can sell poor products and treat people this way very sad indeed. Save yourself the aggro and go B&Q much better quality.

Rude, discriminatory, unhelpful, incompetent

My experience with Victorian Plumbing has been very bad. Poor communication throughout. Management are incapable of dealing with issues, and even worse at trying to put things right. The couriers they have selected to deliver their items are late, incompetent and rude. I am 6 months pregnant, they left over £800 worth of stuff just on the side of the main road for me to collect myself (including large items like a toilet, shower screen, towel radiator). The delivery person was rude and discriminatory towards me, left me in tears. Two items arrived damaged, the replacements arrived a week later despite being told they would be next day delivery. The couriers then messaged to say delivery would be between 7-9pm, I live alone and cannot carry a basin into my house due to how pregnant I am, spent all day trying to get hold of someone, apparently they couldn't get in touch with their delivery driver... brilliant! Would not use them again, terrible complaints procedure leaving you nowhere to go, and all they offer is lip service, no form of compensation, or incentive to use them again (i. E. vouchers for the future). Will not recommend.

After fitting the Cove bathroom suite (they didn't add my review to the website), you notice it's pretty poor quality.

The holes on the cupboard doors don't match. The bath looks like it was formed over a fun house mirror. The toilet seat is so flimsy that it's bendy.
The worst part is the noisy taps. 60db when half running. You can't use them at night. After many attempts of explaining, videos and evidence - "they passed quality control, so they are fine".
I ended up buying new taps and sending the VP ones back. They denied receiving them, and won't refund me.
I tried to replace the toilet seat. VP offered a £12 replacement (another cheap piece of rubbish) or a refund £25. Turns out, the toilet seat is a rare size, and you can't buy replacements easily. Guess I'll have to buy another toilet pan.

I wish I could forget even knowing about VP. It's cost me more in not only money, but time and stress. This has been going on since mid Feb, now mid April. The bathroom is still not completed because of this, and just to save a hundred pounds. Definitely not worth it. Avoid this company if you can...

Ordered £1000+ worth of goods. Delivered swiftly.
When bathroom fitter started fitting bath, he noticed panels dont fit. Clear sign of manufacturing fault.
Called Victorian Plumbing on a Wednesday, was asked to send photos which I did immediately on same day.

1. Was told I'd get a call within 48 hours by which then manufacturer confirms fault and would receive replacement within a week, no call on Friday so I called VP back.
2. Was told on Friday I'll get a call on Monday, no call on Monday. So I called on Tuesday but got cut off after waiting around 15mins
3. Received e-mail few hours later to say they are chasing manufacturer urgently.
4. Now Wednesday evening and still no news!
5. Till date no call from them, I've done the phoning!

More than a week and no replacement, not even news when I'm receiving a replacement. So likely to be another week!

They have photos showing the problem clearly, it takes someone with some basic knowledge of the bath probably 1 minute to see the problem!

Awful customer service!

Ordered 30 boxes of hexagon tiles, shower tray, shower waste black, wall cabinet and few other items. Out of 30 boxes I have returned 26 as they all had defects, shower tray came scratched and wall cabinet chipped. All items returned within week from first delivery. I have requested and exchange, 3 weeks later still no exchange. Last Friday received a message that they have everything ready apart 3 boxes of tiles which they said they will send later on, so delivery was arranged for Monday.
Monday went no signs of delivery, Tuesday came I have received a call that delivery driver is by my home with pallet, when it was collected it turn out they delivered 3 boxes of tiles instead of 17 earlier agreed and still no sign of shower tray and wall cabinet. On inspection of tiles out of 3 boxes I have one(1) tile without defect. To be honest I have enough, I do not recommend this company to anyone, absolute joke! No point of contact and now they make you wait for email back 5-10 days. Worst company ever.

We ordered and paid for items that were advertised as " IN STOCK ". On the 16th July and still not received them or any explanation as to why. All we get are texts saying items are postponed yet again. This is the 20th time at time of writing this. I wouldn't mind so much if they explained why (and btw this had nothing to do with Covid) it is because the items weren't in stock and we were misled.
If we were offerd the chance to order a alternative even. But zilch, nothing.
I'm disgusted and will look into my legal rights. Plus warn anyone to be very careful when using this company

Very poor service
August 2, 2022

We have experienced several problems with the Victorian Plumbing Company. We were unable top pay with PayPal, despite this option being offered as available. It you want next day delivery, you have to pay for the item first, and then go back in to make a further payment (adding all the card details etc), instead of one single payment. We paid for next day delivery within the time window required by the website, but the following day received a track emailk showing that the item would not be delivered until the following day. IT is impossible to contact a human being - then live chat does not work, so one is confined to a chatbot which is useless, despite the chatbot offering access to a live assistant. Finally, after making the purchase, I received a feedback form inviting me to rate the service. I gave a single star, and then explained why in the text box. On clicking submit, a pop-up appeared saying that my feedback could not be received at this time. As the company's website only contains positive reviews, it would seem that they have purposely excluded anything which is not 4 or 5 star feedback. I regret using this company and will not do so again.
