WASTE MY TIME!
May 4, 2025

It is extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience, and I will never come back. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and showed no empathy whatsoever. Their behavior was completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on your brand. The communication was unclear from the start. Instead of offering proper support, I was told to go to the Lounge services for a "better experience"—unfortunately, that was just another attempt to take more money from clients without delivering any real value. It's nothing but a sales trap, and the staff didn't even explain it properly. This experience was a complete waste of time and money. I felt disrespected, ignored, and misled throughout the entire interaction. No customer deserves to be treated this way. You seriously need to review your staff training, communication policies, and overall approach to customer service. Until that happens, I will be advising others to stay away.

Their website is terrible. Booking an appointment is nearly impossible—it always shows no availability for a long time. Even if we find a slot, it disappears by the time we enter our details, no matter which country we apply from. The only option left is to visit in person and pay for premium services, where slots are surprisingly easy to get. It's clear they are tricking clients into paying extra. This has happened to us many times. When embassies handled visa applications directly, it was much easier. VFS has completely ruined the system.

I tried many times to sign up VFS for making an appointment for French visa, however, there were always flags, failure, saying that I need to "activate" my account, even I received their email with link to log in. I believe it is tricky because they are trying to make extra money and want all customers to buy their service to make appointments for visa applications. When I called and talked to a lady, it is so hard to understand what she is talking about because of badly and heavy accent.

Who enables this terrible "service"? It seems they are just trying to prevent people from getting a visa. WHO does this serve?

No communication
January 9, 2025

Very confusing website, no help available for customer service, need to pay with credit card to talk to customer service. Paid for their services and never heard from them, can't get hold of them. A bad company with no response, and run away with your money.

Racist greedy staff
November 29, 2024

They sabotaged my visa application and made money off of me by sending me back three times. I was treated with utmost disrespect and insult during my visits because I was non-white and a non-American citizen. They refused to process my visa and were extremely rude and discriminatory.

Just a money scam. No value for money spent. I had chosen scanning and documents arrangement, verification option. However i was forced to pay 780/- extra for document verification. But they didn't verify amy documents, instead they just arranged the documents. They will try to confuse and we will end up in paying as we get panic by their words. Be very vigilant while going for this documents scanning. All other processes were smooth. Not their fault, may be company's instruction.

Premium package is just money scam. If u want luxury for 30- 40 mins spent at VFS.

If I could give these people stars in the minus I would. One star is more than they deserve. I will be speaking with the British Government to look at cancelling their contract with VFS scammers. They are doing an absolute disservice to all that use them. Franklyn is the alleged manager, and would you believe he refused to speak to me on the phone. VFS provides a fake platform that is designed to look like an upload platform. I put all and more than needed in terms of documents for my spouses visa application. The sites submit button went opaque and wouldn't allow me to upload them because it is intentionally rigged to not be able to do so, so that when you visit them they can charge you 200 AED plus to do the uploads that they prevented you from doing on purpose. This is known as scamming and I plan to sit with a Dubai police officer later today to report this company for fraud. They refused to help and refused to speak to me on the phone, apparently the idiotic woman dealing with my spouse was just laughing. It's a pity they didn't hire someone with some brains rather than using an enpty headed giggling idiot who should be shipped right back home and trained on basic manners and simple life skills, such as how to tie her own shoelaces. You would be forgiven for thinking you had arrived in one of the many Indian scam call centers when you are in this place given the modus operandi of extracting as much money as they can from you whilst offering nothing in the way of a decent service and essentially tricking and scamming you out of your money. The British Government need to wake up to this sham organisation and keep their credibility in tact by firing VFS from this most important of roles. This whole operation is an absolute disgrace and I will be sure to pursue them through the courts to get my money back and to get the mis-manager Franklyn is that's his real name fired from his position. He is an absolute disgrace and is a disreputable scammer as well as a spineless coward and cannot call himself a man.

I recently used VFS Global to process a visitor visa for the UK, and I'm extremely disappointed by the additional, unnecessary fees forced upon applicants. On top of the visa application cost, VFS demands an additional $100 fee just to use their facilities to drop off documents. This is not optional and is required for everyone seeking a visa.

This feels like an exploitative practice, making it harder for people to afford travel to the UK, and I can't help but feel it's a barrier that could deter potential tourists. Why impose such high, hidden fees when applicants are already paying the government-mandated visa cost?

Not only is this offensive, but it also shows a lack of consideration for travellers and undermines the UK's accessibility as a tourism destination. VFS Global's policy seems to prioritize profit over service, which is both frustrating and sad for those of us who simply wish to explore the UK.

I want to highlight the pain we have to go through dealing with VFS Global helpdesk.
I am applying for a Canada visa for myself and my family and I am based in New Jersey. I was asked by the Canadian embassy to send the passports individually i.e. In separate envelopes. To handle this I created my account on VFS as they are the approved service providers and bought four two-way courier labels. I got only two labels, one for my wife and the other for me. For my daughters I have the receipt that I have paid 73.5 USD but no labels and now I am neither getting the refund nor the labels. I am running out of time as I have to send the passports within a stipulated period. I have attached four receipts that I received after making the payments.

I scheduled an appointment with VFS Los Angeles to obtain a visa through the Austria Embassy. The appointment itself was speedy and efficient. However, the documents checklist VFS provided via email was different from the documents that were requested during my appointment. For example, VFS needed 3 months of pay stubs, but their checklist didn't mention anything but bank statements. I advise applicants to bring extra supporting documents.

Here comes the bad part. Once the embassy was done processing my application and visa, VFS Los Angeles sent my passport via FedEx to an incorrect address. VFS omitted the word South in my street address, resulting in delivery of my passport to a stranger's residence 2 miles away. Fortunately, the person who received it was kind enough to drive over to my address to see if it belonged to me.

A truly unacceptable and careless mistake.

I was highly impressed with the service I received at the VFS.global Service office located at 1025 Vermont Ave, NW, Suite 302, Washington, DC *******. Special thanks to Mr. Wellington J, who was courteous, very professional, and helpful in answering my questions with clarity regarding the passport renewal process. Everything was handled swiftly, as I received my passport within a week from the time I submitted the application. The two ladies at the window, namely Reene (spg?), and Kusum were very polite and pleasant as well. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Thank you, Anu Batra

I sincerely hope VFS gets their wings clipped by the governments they represent! I'd give it negative stars if I could for how corrupt, inefficient, and nonchalant they are about their customers' misery! One would have to invent a whole new lexicon of terms to describe my disgust!

Let's just start with their tech infrastructure - IMPOSSIBLE to log in consistently - either you need to "clear your cache and come back in 2 hours", or "your account is not activated" (which you never receive an email for), or "you don't have an account" (and when you try to create - it says you have one!), but you can't reset your password either, because no matter what you set it - it says it's incorrect! What an absolute joke! I've had to create 4 new email addresses in the same week - just to log in!

When you do log in, of course there are never EVER any appointments. You know why? Because they're all sold to agencies who then charge you £250 for a "guaranteed appointment". Tell me VFS, how are there "no appointments", yet I can get a guaranteed appointment from random agencies if I pay an extortionate amount for it? (And I've tried this - it works!).

And if you manage to get an appointment, good luck getting your visa on time.

If it were up to me - this company would be shut for fraud, and it's executives in prison. Absolute joke organisation! I'd rather not go on holiday than have to ever deal with VFS again!

Tried to call these guys literally 300 time to try and get a visa appointment over two months and it's an absolute farce. You can even try at midnight and it's the same story over and over again. I suggest sending multiple complaints to the Italian consul and tourist offices if anyone has the same frustrating experience.?
