DON'T WASTE your money
October 11, 2023

Poor Customer Service Verizon! I left Metro PCS for this? Going back as soon as I can...I came in the store to purchase one type of phone. Salesman was able to convince me into getting another phone instead; stated the one I wanted wasn't in store. Not till later I realized I was paying more that I originally planned. Phone had issues within 1st 3 months and I was given a replacement free of charge. Now replacement phone will not keep charge, and I'm being told I have to pay to get the phone repaired. I asked for a replacement since the issue is not my fault, phone is kept in great condition. Was told since the warranty has expired I will have to pay, however customer service rep won't give me a price range on repairs. Phone isn't keeping charge and loses the charge it manages to get whenever I unlock it to do anything. What a MAJOR WASTE of money. Why give your customers a hard time, when you can treat them good and have loyal customers for a lifetime? Your loss Verizon. Leaving your company at the first opportunity, which at this point has to be when the phone is paid of, regardless if phone still works or not. They are not offering a replacement phone as an option. Metro PCS, I'm coming back home; regretful that I left...

I've been a customer of Verizon for 20 years... and QUITING Them. For the last 3 years the only line that a person actually answers is the SALES line. Yeah, of course. Get That MOney! Then completely disrespect your customers by putting them on extremely long hold times: 20 minutes to 2, even 3 hours. They offer a CHAT bot, with selections which then gets you to: A Callback Time, which pops up the options: 2-4 days in the future. ARE YOU KIDDING VERIZON? WTH happened to your company? You're the richest and biggest so why have you become the WORST SERVICE -- rated 23 or lower now, was #1 for years, then went into the toilet. No Thanks anymore. Goodbye Verizon. Good Riddance.

Let me be clear... I tried Verizon as an experiment. A terrible choice. I have overpaid every step of the way. A 70-dollar plan is actually 80 after taxes, etc. Non-Corporate stores will tell you that you are getting an activation fee at the store, but it's really a setup fee. Therefore, on your next bill you will receive the actual activation fee. Sneaky $#!+. Then with the I-phones... They are sim locked for 60 days even if you buy the phone outright from the store. So that may be an Apple thing but if it's not communicated properly at purchase. You are technically stuck with Verizon for those 60 days if you get service along with the phone. Now for customer service. I spoke to maybe 5-6 different individuals so far only 2, one being a supervisor & the other being a chat tech support were clear about what was going on. To expand on that I contacted Verizon less than a month ago trying to figure out how to end my service on the day that I would be renewed on my service. I was informed that I could cancel it on that day & transfer my phone as well. Little did I know that I would be charged for another month & be forced to pay another bill. To be honest I wouldn't recommend this company even to an enemy... Top to bottom it's just a money pit waiting to trap you, but if you're into that kind of thing... Have fun.

Pathetic
November 27, 2020

Verizon is the absolutely, unequivocally the worst cell carrier. I went to one of their stores today to upgrade 3 lines. We were told we would have to wait about an hour. Okay, not a problem; however when we finally get inside we learn that they do not have any of the 3 different phones we were looking for. So first, one of the major carriers is completely unprepared to sell phones, but we had to wait 45-minutes to find this out. So we decide to try online, so far so good, however; when we tried to check out no form of payment would go through: option A is add to your bill which never works, don't know why they lie and have this listed as an option; Option B is a credit card, all were declined, I called both banks no issues with either card; the 3rd option use PayPal, wait for it, wait for it... Why would Verizon disappoint, that didn't even work. My wife called the clueless customer service reps and they were of absolutely no help. It's time for Verizon to get bought out or sold to a company that understands supply and demand, customer service and technology.

Some sites claim Verizon has the best service, this is extremely subjective. I live in a major metropolitan area and regularly only have two bars and poor reception, while my friends with AT&T have 4-5 bars. I know where I am they are the worst. Thankfully, I am on wifi most of the time.

Verizon will talk you up on Verizon Protect saying it will be an easy replacement if your device is damaged, and then offer you nothing if you have a bad experience.

It's a $#*!ing rip-off.

Sarah was unable to remove the SIMM card from my Verizon MiFI8800 Jetpack today and tried using a metal pin (the kind used to eject SIMM cards from older iPhones) pushing the SIMM card out the end of the socket and breaking one of the metal pin contacts. This destroyed the jetpack's ability to connect to the SIMM which it was doing at home just prior to visiting this store. The store Manager insinuated that I did it with no offer to repair or replace the jetpack. There was a brief offer of partial coverage for a used product if I bought something on eBay. Why should you do business with incompetent people who are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage they cause? I am taking my business elsewhere. Just another disgruntled former Version customer.

I trade in my old device for 1,000 credit and the balance of the new device should be 200 dllrs more or less and when I checked my balance it shows over 800 dllrs and I verified my equipment was at Verizon. Apparently they will give you a credit of a 1,000 dllrs and the balance over 36 months contract that I didn't sign. If I want to pay off my device I'll be paying full amount plus losing credit of my trade in. This company makes business in a shady way. STAY AWAY FROM VERIZON

Cheating
April 8, 2017

Verizon is not a trustworthy company & the agents in customer care department won't keep their words. I have been with Verizon for 11 years. T-Mobile offered a better plan package, so we moved to T-mobile. Verizon called me everyday wanted to win me back from T-Mobile and promised me that they will do price match.

I keep their words and move back, but the bill becomes $100 more than T-mobile. T-Mobile (everything unlimited) is $140 for 5 lines + 3 devices = $170 (tax included) in February & March 2017, but Verizon (everything unlimited) was $270 which is awful to cheat a reliable customer back from T-Mobile. They said as long as I got proof they will match it, but they dishonored their words. I spent times to talk to agents and supervisors, and they said the computer not allowed them to change it. This is the internal problems of the company which can't be excused.

Don't trust the Customer Care Department of Verizon, unless you sign a contract first, then starting to order the devices. Life is tough with the company not honor their own words.

I was approached in my office by a salesperson for Verizon. He told me that they would replace my entire system with Comcast. He was new and had to bring his supervisor back with him. I spent over 7 hours on the phone (my cell as the "plug and play" system was in no way plug and play) with their idiots in India and the Philippines. They finally escalated the case to a senior tech in the US who was able to get the phones to work for phone calls, but not with my computer network. He then told me that they's sold me the wrong system and that it would not do what was needed! I called and fired them the same day.

When my numbers finally got ported back to Comcast, I called them to find out what they wanted me to do with the equipment. They told me to take it to the Verizon store near my office. I did this the day my phones worked again.

The salesman told me that my monthly bill would be approximately $150/month. My first bill was over $400. I sent it to them explaining that I'd not be paying it as they'd been fired within the 30 days! They ignored the communication and billed me another $500 the next month. I once again explained that I would not pay it. Now they are billing me for the 2 months AND the equipment! More than $1500!

Verizon is the absolute worst big company I have ever dealt with!

From best to worst!
July 30, 2021

Verizon has made 10,000 duplicate contacts on my Samsung phone, scrambled my data, added their own profile pictures, and destroyed 15 years of contacts!. I have spent 7 hours with five different people. I was sent to tier two. They said they do not know what the problem is and sent me to Samsung. Samsung identified that the problem was with verizon cloud, had me take a scrren shot to prove the point. So, I called Verizon once again and was recommended to go to tier two after 2 very long waits. Both times I got connected and then... dropped. This is now 9 hours, no one can help me and every time I go to tier two I get disconnected. The Samsung guy laughed and said that after Verizon blamed Samsung it was their own program causing all of the corrupted data. I have 10 years of important data, screwed up. The backups are also corrupted. Now we are looking to see how many contacts Google has saved. Verizon used to be the best. Now, the worst! If I hear their message about unusual volume
of calls one more time! HELP!

" BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS!" One of the saleswomen named Tabatha sold us two new phones that ended up costing us over twice the amount of money than we had asked for in our first billing along with no disclosures of return policies, fees, and when we decided to return the phones under their 30-day return policy they said that we would lose the previous phone numbers that we have had for over 12 years!
Shameless and deceptive business practices.

I switched to Verizon One Talk and purchased new desk phones for our small business. The caller ID has been showing up incorrectly since the system was installed 6/22, and after multiple emails and phone calls it remains still uncorrected. The voice quality is inferior. I am continually disturbed by crackling on the line, and more often than not the other party thinks that I have put down the phone and left the room because my voice sounds so distant and faint. This is by far the worst phone system that I have ever used, and the customer service is horrendous. Verizon does not even handle the customer service for the OneTalk program, as it is provided by a third party. They are pleasant folks to deal with, however they are so limited in what they can actually do to help with technical issues. It has taken them 6 months to get Verizon to even create a ticket and initiate the troubleshooting and repair process. As the above-described issues remain unresolved I can NOT recommend using Verizon for supplying or supporting an office phone system.

Verizon complaint

We went into a local store for the purpose of getting a watch for my daughter. We waited 5 hours in-store to leave with new products we didn't need (because they said we needed to upgrade to get the result we wanted) and a watch that didn't work. The manager said he would work on it and call us back. After a week of waiting we tried to call customer service (if you want to call it that) and wasted another 4 hours to complete nothing. We did however find out we were LIED to about the product working the way we were told it was so we ordered another product. Since then, we have made three trips to the store (easily a minimum of 2 hours each visit) and multiple calls to customer service (4 hours minimum each time). We still don't have a working watch and have learned that they put us on a contract that we didn't sign up for. My husband just left the store again and was told he was waiting for a call back again. We will be going with a different company next time. Terrible customer service.
