Let me first start by saying I've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years. I usually have two phones on my account. I am completely and utterly disappointed and saddened by Verizon. Time after time with different customer service representatives I had to use my time and energy to voice the same concerns over and over again. It all started when they came out with the new iPhone 12 Pro. They had a promo that would credit your bill $440 for the exchange of my iPhone XR which was in excellent condition. I saw this promo and said "you know, what the heck, let me just go for it and upgrade". However, when I received my bill, it was a completely different story. Oddly, my bill kept increasing month after month with no legitimate justification or explanation. After the eighth time of calling trying to have someone fix the situation I ended it with Verizon once and for all. I told them to keep the phone I'm done. With this said. I was really saddened by this, given my trust & dedication to this company for so many years and then being treated so poorly by them, left a bitter taste in my mouth. I am and forever done with Verizon. I've encouraged all of my business partners, friends, family & associates to ditch them.
Unfortunately lack of training, lack of following up and lack of customer service skills leads to a company breakdown from the inside out. So sad, take your business elsewhere. You can have all the coverage in the world, but if you don't have the trust of your customers you have nothing.
I upgraded to a new phone and paid dearly for next day delivery. Well the next day came along and no phone. There answer is the delivery sevice fault. I asked to be reembersed for the delivery fee and they stated at would be up to 30 days. They took the money in 30 seconds but cant reemberse for 30 days.
For the past four days I have had the worst experience in my life with customer service on the phone I spoke with nine people spend that hours nobody is able to help even when I try to get a manager they promise you one thing but then when they hang up something else happen I have been with Verizon for more than nine years but I am cutting off my home line and wireless I just want people to know that this is the worst company that you would pay your money to
POP QUIZ: What happens when not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, but 10 employees from different locations (on phone or in person) tells you wrong information?!?! If you answered, YOUR CREDIT GETS FU**** FOR THE NEXT 7 YEARS BECAUSE NOTHING BUT IDIOTS WORK THERE AND THEY KNOW NOTHING, you've answered correctly. It was my fault on keeping Verizon in the first place. I should have known there would have been an issue when a store manager told me one thing, then found out that was a complete lie. Just to give you an idea of how terrible this experience was, a regional manager had to step in, give me free sh** and lower my monthly payments close to nothing! Why you may ask? I had a written estimate that was so off, that it seemed like I was closer to growing 2 extra arms than the amount written on my estimate. Do yourself a favor, do not use Verizon. Its like the Walmart version of cellular companies.
I'm very dissappointed with my
Entire Verizon experience. The website chat support is a joke. No one ever has the correct answer to solve a problem. They just pass me from person to person where I have to describe the issue as many as 5 times. They often can't answer basic questions. Often I can't even understand the person because their English is so poor.
The email support is just as horrible. Endless back & forth with no results. Again asking me to repeat myself numerous times as I get passed from one useless customer service person to another. I spent a total of 8 hours trying to set up a business line. All the repetitive back and forth is exhausting. Your terrible service has worn me out.
As soon as I pay off my phones I'm immediately switching both to Consumer Cellular. The Consumer Cellular person I just spoke to already set up my new account and is sending the new SIM cards so I can finally say goodbye forever to Verizon. They understand what actual customer service is.
Verizon could learn a lot from their business model. I'll never use Verizon again.
I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for over 10 years. Their customer service and products have significantly declined in the recent years. I have been dealing with a billing issue the past 3.5 months that has not been resolved and will likely lead to me canceling my service with them. I have called into their customer service multiple times in which I speak with a representative and I am then put on hold for hours until I am transferred to their billing department in which my phone call is ultimately disconnected every time right around 33 minutes and 15 seconds. I have done nothing but talk highly of verizon in the past and up until 2019 was a huge supporter of their service and products. Being a career professional, father, and someone that doesn't normally write reviews I am adamant to say that never in my years have I experienced such frustration, disregard, and inconvenience as I have with Verizon. I do not recommend their product and in the long run it will likely end up costing much more than just money.
After buying a humm device for roadside assistance (something Verizon set me up with) I found out that I already had roadside assistance through my car insurance. So I took it back the very same day and cancled it. On my bill they charged me a crazy amount! For both the device and all of the different fees that came with it. I called Verizon and they said I would getting my money back, but not until my next bill was due. In other words she said my next bill would be significantly lower than what I usually pay because I would be getting $60 taken off my normal bill. My next bill came around and it was higher than what I normally pay. So Verizon kept what they stole and charged me more than normal the following month. I'm deffinitely going to be paying for my phone outright and dropping Verizon. Here is an example- normal bill=$80 mischarged bill=$145 following bill=$100
I received a 8k Verizon battery charger as a gift. It did not work out of the box. I was offered to ship it back at my cost or make a trip to Verizon without a receipt. Save your time and money.
I have a landline (I get very poor cell service); it's $115/mo for 99% spam calls, oh well. The service hasn't worked for 3 months, there have been FIVE service calls, each time the technician says "The problem is on the highway, the cable has been damaged and will need to be replaced." EVERY TIME, like they've been sent there with zero notes about any prior service calls. And, of course, it's one guy who is not equipped to drill into the highway and fix an underground cable, so there is yet ANOTHER appointment scheduled for the next week, and we do it all again. The best part - they pro-rated the first month's bill to $9, but this recent bill is for the entire $115, despite having no service for 3 months. Now, try getting anyone, even a bot, to respond to the need to have this bill adjusted. NOPE! As soon as I can get my number ported elsewhere, I am done with VZ. I want to rate them negative125 stars, but that's not available. TERRIBLE!

I went to verizon authorized retailer at 3647 browns bridge rd. In cumming ga.Paul was really helpful and knowledgeable, he is a great employee for verizon and certainly for the customer.
Charges have been sitting on my credit report for six years because I will not pay for monthly charges and an early termination fee because I was misled by a Sales person who just wanted me to resign a two year contract. I moved to an area of NC where I could not receive or send phone calls and was told if I got a newer phone and signed a new contract I would not have further problems. LIES. VERIZON LIES. THEY STILL WILL NOT BUDGE AFTER 6 YEARS.
Ever since I had my first cellphone, I have been using Verizon. A month ago, I started to look a discount from Verizon, after receiving multiple e-mail offers from Verizon to replace my ageing phone. The experience with Verizon, online, on the phone, at a local store is unsettling and terrifyingly bad. This experience immediately prompted me to switch to another big carrier. First, the e-mail offers is a scam for the bulk part. There is no sure answer and deadline with it. Customer service on the phone claims they have expire despite it was a only a few days old. Verizon online stores is a nightmare. It makes all the good discounts until the very last steps where those offers are removed without explanations. They are counting on a customer to click Submit without reading it further. Customer service phone support is beyond pale. The reps are rude, the phone departments kick you around with transfers. I heard their unrelated talks over the phone while on hold. Lastly, the wireless coverage has gone downhill a lot. Once I switched to a new carrier (ATT), the difference from every corner and service, made me regret why I haven't switched long long ago. On this path, Verizon will tank in a few years. It is a despicable company in its current shape.
What a HORRIBLE customer service. After 6 months of follow up on my wireless home, still it does not work. I have spent many days and hours on the phone and I am still on the phone since 9 am this morning... and now it is 11:32 am. No response. If there was an option ZERO, I would give MINUS ZERO FOR RATING. SHAMEFUL
Most inept company I've EVER dealt with - RUN do not walk away! I paid my bill and my measly 5 gb of data never renewed - I continued to spend days just trying to get somebody who could help - the hold times were hours and hours - and then they'd transfer you all over the place and then hang up on you - most frustrating company I've ever seen. I'm still on hold right now for the 5th time today - totaling 2 1/2 hours of my morning so far TODAY - I've been able to do 47 bad online reviews of them while on hold - unreal. Paying my phone off and going with Spectrum Mobile - unlimited data for $15 less a month than this horrible company Verizon.
I want to share my experience regarding non-Verizon purchased phones. Despite what you may see when you check out your IMEI on the BYOD page, you may not be able to use your Verizon account (SIM) in Canada or Mexico even if it is an international-compatible phone. To my surprise, even though I had a Verizon unlimited data plan which extended to Canada and Mexico use, the Verizon system did not grant free usage on those international locations. I was in Canada, my phone worked perfectly and I sent/received texts and data. Unfortunately, I was charged an incredibly steep price for data (works out to $2,000 per GB). My data service was cut off when I hit $500.
You've been warned -- Verizon's site is on BYOD compatibility is not to be trusted.
HORRIBLE! Absolutely scary corporations can ABUSE its power against customers. I was in Los Angeles on vacation and upon arrival I was not be able to text, make calls or use navigation phone was locked into unserviced SOS mode. Called customer service (using other people's phones) and spent 5 days back and forth online and in person and hours and hours trying to rectify my service. Verizon ping pong me back forth between Apple and Verizon blaming each other. I was in absolute tears
And completely distraught in a large city. Apple said if I was to even buy a new phone the technical issues would be transferred to it.
Only to be told by Verizon it was my phone and wanted to sell me a new phone $800. I switched to AT&T and my service is 100% fine didn't have to buy a new phone. I should have switched day one but the number porting would have been an issue without service. It took AT&T 4 hours to transfer due to Verizon's incompetent customer service. During this process I felt my health was compromised and that I could have had a heart attack. Verizon has the worst customer service. By the way if you go into a Verizon store they don't want to provide technical support - they want you use the useless chat bot system that doesn't work. My vacation was completely ruined. The manager was so rude she should be fired! Verizon lost a 30+ year customer and I'm switching telling as many others to not use Verizon.
I think verizon wireless has good 4g lte but any ways 1 i did not like the coustmer servise and i dont own a cell phone threw them all though i do run off the cdma 4g lte network i asked them g question and they hung up on me thats just mean 2 even if you call verizon wireless you get this recorded messege not a live person at that store so if you even had a ask them any thing dont call cuzz they may hang up on you so if i were you just go bye the store and ask what ever you have to ask and yes there cdma 4g lte is good prices on some plans are way up there hope this was some what helpful.
All the cell phone companies have their problems. And I have come up against some of them over the years. But if you are ' reasonable ' with them, and treat them with respect, well you can get some benefits in your favor. I just got my upgrade phone from Verizon. They have an upgrade fee, well all the cell phone companies do, of $30. I thought after 12 years of being a customer they could help me out and not charge me that fee... Yes I resigned up for 2 years, I was expecting that. But after talking very nice to the Verizon staffer, she put me on hold and talked with her supervisor and they gave me 10% off my bill for 12 months which ended up being $18 more off than the $30 fee. So they said they had to charge that fee, but gave me a good customer discount to make it better for me. I am happy with the coverage and service. The only thing with Verizon I do not like is the website they have accounts in - I think it is not very user friendly.
Over all, they are pretty good to work with these last 12 years...
It would be so nice to actually talk to someone without some voice saying try your app. Lol, that application is a sad and pathetic joke, so do not waste your time on it
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
