This company has started off with like upon lie when I set up my service. First I was to get a 400 dollar visa to switch that never happened. Then my phone was stolen and I did not have insurance so I did the by one get one it's a 30 month contract I was not told about. Even when you pay the phone off you are stuck for 30 months. I just found out they were charging me for a year for the supposedly free phone. If you are not on top of your account this company will Rob you blind. It took 15 calls and 8 emails to corporate to finally find an angel named Gretchen in customer service that helped discover this Issue and she went above and beyond to fix it. My question is why 27 attempts to contact someone anyone to get my account straight. I cannot wait to get away from this company. I pray it is soon as I need to now pay off a 4th phone to hopefully get away. See the email below from corporate they simply DO NOT CARE!

Bad service

My Verizon services had been really bad the past year or two, my phone will not ring half the time people say they calle several times before it actually rings on my end, then if it does come through I get dropped constant, so annoying I pay over 100 a month for one phone plus my phone was very costly I'm just tired if Verizon taking my money and the service sucks

A tech named Dane was just here in Washington, PA to do an install for fios. He was completely rude the entire time here. I left him outside by himself for being jerk and didn't want him in my home. He should not be working with the public. Also, I didn't appreciate his profanity when he said the person on the phone who told us the wrong info on istall was full of s*** and continues to talk bad about how unintelligent and untrainable and a waste of time training said Verizon costumer service employees were. His word toward me and other Verison employees was uncalled for.

I have a 97$ charge without any reason on my credit report! I HAVE WASTED MY TIME WITH A SERIES OF CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATORS SITTING AT HOME IN THE PHILLIPINES! The female phone operators will set you up piss you off as a side show for kicks because you cannot get to them and Corporate help. BECAUSE IT'S ALL RIGGED! BECAUSE AT TIMES YOU CAN HEAR THE ROSTERS CROWING! Depending on their mood they all will INTENTIONALLY MESS with you as an AMERICANS! I AM working to remove the trouble and game they have been playing lately!
This has been going on within this year! To harass Americans of their choosing!

Intentionally difficult

I have been with Verizon for many years. My position in my career is a Regional Sales Manager of a security distribution. It is quite pathetic how many times I've been stabbed in the back by Verizon. I have called customer service numerous amount of times. I have even talked to 6 different managers and finally wrote headquarters a letter. Still have not received a call back from anyone after been promised that multiple times. My phone as well as everyone on my plan. Drops calls, doesn't get texts or is very slow. Yes we went through all the steps ins and outs. I pay $320 a month for a $#*! show that no one is willing to fix. It is embarrassing traveling and having my customers see my phone not work. So I have been telling all of my customers exactly my experience at Verizon and they are baffled. Mind you I handle Washington, idaho, Montana and Wyoming. I'm pissed. I want Verizon to pay for my plan since it doesn't even work anyways. Once my phones are paid off I will be leaving so fast. I am so discussed such a bug corporation is trained how they are. Shame on you.

Stay away from this company! They over charge!
When I Cancelled - I still paid my bill to stay up to date.
3-16-23 I received an invoice that showed i was positive $165.68
4-26-23 I Called for 45 minutes they say I would receive a refund 5-8 to 5-10
Nothing!
Called again 5-19-23 ( 45 minutes)
I will receive refund 5-7 weeks
This company makes Millions of dollars by over billing and not doing what is right by their customers. STAY AWAY!
There are a bunch of other options out there for you phone service providers, DO NOT GET SUCKED IN BY THE PROMISE OF SUPERIOR SERVICE!

Home LTE Scam

Don't buy this product if you have poor Broadband service. This Company offers5G service. If you're internet service is less than 5G you won't get that strength. If you have other wireless devices the strength may not be enough. Tech Service has two levels your time will be wasted speaking to a 1level tech. 2 level may help. In addition to poor internet service they will try to sell device protection service that my not improve service. When turning the router keep copy of proof of return. Verizon will charge for internet service after returning the router. When you confirm receipt of router then they terminate the service. You will pay for internet service when you mailed the product. Mail the product back with a signature of receipt else you'll be charge for service you didn't receive. Terrible Business model and Customer Service!

Money grabbers

Had a bug with a phone I a common bug with a phone I bought from there. They wouldn't even look or touch my phone. Said there wasn't anything they could do except have me buy a new phone. This was my experience at both the physical store and their online customer support. Luckily I was able to find a solution to my problem via Reddit and YouTube. Shameful money grabbers

Verizon sales team are the most unethical manipulative liars on earth, do not, again do not sign with them before they give it to you in writing. I believe, the team some how like the mother company, do not, again do not sign a 2 years contract with any service unless you are 100% you getting the service you deserve. I have a 4 lines business account with them they made a mistake in my bill which I was billed for over than $3,000 in a month and they did whatever they do with all customers and they disconnect your phone Friday evening after business hours and they leave you with one option which to be connected only to their collection office in the Philippine that have only one option that yo pay in full before they return your service, we are sales people "Loan Officers" and imagine how much we lost during our summer season weekend, even today I called billing at 9:00 AM I stayed with their rep for almost an hour, she discovered the mistakes and told me she will fix and turn back the service in less than an hour it is 1:30 PM now and nothing happened. Verizon is he most unethical manipulative liars on earth hide behind its 2 years contract.

Not to be trusted

RIP-OFF ALERT: Just bought a new smartphone at Verizon. I knew I'd have to pay a $90 deposit toward the phone in addition to the monthly fee. Fair enough. They told me they could set up the phone for me but didn't mention a fee. They offered to waterproof the phone. I stupidly said yes. Here are the fees I was charged:
$29.99 Water Protection Membership
$49.99 - Liquid Glass (water protection, not screen saver)
$49.99 - Verizon Phone Set-up
$35.00 - Data Transfer
$29.99 - Car charger (the old one is obsolete. Of course.)
$29.99 - Car charger cable (Also obsolete)
$29.99 - WallPort "cube" (to charge phone at home)
$53.40 - Tax on phone plus all the above
Including the $90 deposit on the phone, I ended up spending an extra $328. It would have been $428 if I didn't make them put back the $50 phone protector and $50 screen protector, which I just ordered for Amazon for $10 each! Oh, almost forgot: In addition I was told that my next Verizon bill and possibly another would be close to 50% higher than the amount I was told due to an "Upgrade Fee."

Verizon told my daughter that her phone can be credited up to $800.00 for trading in to iphone 13.
She told her her phone had a little crack at the back and working fine. The verizen lady said that most likely she will get credit $650.00.
She received the new phone that was fine, but we had troubles to return the her old phone twice to verizon.
Box for the return they said they will send to her didn't come first time. Second time the returning box was return back to her. At that time it was already 30days past for "that deal".
Calling Verizon was awful. I have to wait 30min to talk to someone every time i called.
Finally after they received the phone, I had to call about credit.
They said it is only $102.50 for credit because it was broken and not working.
I have to get mad at her and get another deal. She set another credit to $440.00.
I have to see how this goes. But I don't trust Verizon.
Be careful for trading in your phone.

Horrible service
August 21, 2020

I had Verizon for about one year, I decided to return to my previous provider, I am 200% DISSATISFIED with how they handle led my request, I feel they kind of punish you! I disconnected my Lin eon 7/28/2020 and got a billing in August, when I called the billing department, after keeping m eon hold for 75 minutes, they explained this is my last due for my disconnected line, and beloved edit or not they send me another bill for September, when I Calle done customer service they repeated the BS above, so basically I a man charged for NO SERVICES from this provider, of course I will disputed the charges via my bank account, but the headache and pain of calling here and there is endless. So read my experience and make your own choice as far a step choice of provider!
I wish it was an option for minus stars! I had to choose one star

I recently switched from Verizon Wireless because their cell service was very poor in my area, and now have much better service.

My primary complaint is that when someone switches service, Verizon closes the account so that you can't make any payments online. On top of that, if you try to call them to make a final payment in their call center, they can't help you because the account is no longer active – and they send you in circles with long hold times, only to tell you that they can't help. How utterly stupid is this? The only option is to wait for a bill to come in the mail. Of course, their bill charged me for the entire month even though i cancelled service much earlier – and forget about contacting them for any information or credits because you no longer have an account! So, i sent the whole bill to them through my bank and in the meantime they turned me over to a collection agency.

Seriously? They threaten my credit rating because of their incompetence and mismanaged system?

I will forever advise anyone interested in cell service to stay away from Verizon.

VERIZON CLAIMS
September 14, 2022

I called Verizon today 09-13-2022 about a claim on my phone that I will need to make and I was told that there will be a $250.00 deductible, and that Verizon can not help me with my claim and that I need to call a company called Asurion.

I told the man that answered the phone at Verizon that I was not told the above when I switched to them from AT&T, and that I was only told by a Verizon store employee that I will only pay $16.00 per month insurance and that that insurance will cover any damages that I might have in the future.
