I only use USPS when I absolutely have to. Tracking is useless and late, with only 3 exceptions in multiple states, customer service and the understanding of the concept is nonexistent, and in my home area delivery is highly unreliable. More than once it's taken my business envelope mail to get across town about 5 days, no exaggeration. My go-to's are ups and fedex.

Scammers.

Needed to send a package urgently, I went to the post office on Monday and they charged me $30 for guaranteed "2 day shipping" which was confirmed by two men working. Later after I left the post office, I received an email that my package would arrive "guaranteed by Thursday." Thursday was too late, as I said I was sending the package urgently. I am upset that I was lied to and then not helped or answered when I tried to call the post office. I called the 1-800 number for USPS and sat on hold for over an hour. Seriously? You are keeping your customers waiting for over an hour on the phone? No wonder you have such a lot rating. Whole place needs new heads of the company for sure. So frustrated and upset.

Worst courrier
June 14, 2022

I sent a package to Dubai via express and they claim to be delivered within 3-5 business days but it's just a lie.My package was stuck in Carson California for a week and no update at all. What's the use of paying more if you don't deliver in time! Just a BS!

Less than zero

I left one complaint about a package left out in the rain. Instead of talking to me they decided not to deliver any more packages to my address. You can either shut your mouth and put up with the crappy service or say something about it and get no service. Your choice.

TERRIBLE!
May 30, 2018

I special ordered a product, have been anticipating it's arrival. The day the package was sched. To arr., I go to the mailbox disappointed bc I have all of my neighbors mail. I check the tracking and it says "unable to deliver". After going through it with the post office, I get an excuse that the carrier THOUGHT my residence was vacant and my packages are in their forwarding facility and I will receive them according to how busy they are. Mind you, there are 2 houses across from me that are vacant, the only similarities in the addresses is the first number. It's been over a month and still nothing! I'm so annoyed and frustrated that I paid for my products and don't have them because of their negligence!

Most deceitful

In this past year USPS has managed to lose a fair amount of items that I ordered online. I simply can't deal with this anymore. I can't trust them as a seller or a buyer. I think they steal packages. I don't trust them at all. Wish i could take some kind of action. This is killing business!

I get my medication through the USPS and over the last year delivery has been dismal! It arrives in my home distribution center only to see that the next day it's 4 states away?!?! I wish that my insurance company would use a different delivery service already. Even if I pay for expedited delivery I'm still not to expect my package within the 2 days it's supposed to be guaranteed! We all know why the PO is failing, my question is WHY isn't something being done about it!

Sorry excuse of a government run delivery system. My stuff is ALWAYS late, lost, damaged. I'm no longer shipping with them unfortunately most of my packages come through them. I'm still waiting for a package from less than a 100 miles from me. No bad weather, just poor excuse of service. It's been a week. I hate the usps

Keithville, La USPS ******* Keithville, La.******* has been having problems of missing or not delivered packages.I bought a starter from Amazon and carrier brought me a empty box.Also carrier lied and said I cursed her out when I never did.Now she claims she's unsafe and used that to not deliver my packages.Made a claim with corporate and they got on her side and said I have to pickup packages from post office when I have paid for the to be delivered to my residence,wow!Mind you this isn't the only incidence.Don't see how this post office is still operating.

Horrible Service
August 31, 2023

Some of these carriers need to go through training of how to put the correct mail and packages in the proper location. At least 2 times a week I get my mail placed in which ever box they like that day rather than in the proper box, people need there packages and then to get a message that your item was delivered yet you go to get it and nothing, but 2 or 3 days later a neighbor delivers your item with a number not even close to yours. It's getting old and I'm tired of it. Fix it!

Lousy customer service
December 5, 2023

Update: Day three and still can't get any customer service. To get a live person on the phone means sitting on hold forever, they don't respond to emails, and the chat bot is a total waste of time.
They are still telling me my address isn't the correct address!
If I could give them -5 stars, I would!

I tried to get a package redelivered. They won't let me sign the pink notice as I have always done. I found this out after spending half an hour on their automated phone system that can't understand anything I say, and just keeps sending me around in circles, and after going on the website for 15 minutes, where it says that the address where they hung the pink notice on the door isn't the correct address, even though it automatically put the number in the box when I entered my address! I finally told them to send the freaking package back and explain it to the seller why they have to refund my money!

Horrible customer service

Rude. Didn't help at all. Told me to stop talking when I was asking questions. Got annoyed with me. Unreliable. Horrible. If they wanted people to use them more maybe get people with customer service skills.

Anxiety Trigger
July 16, 2021

Never purchase any collectables, expensive or rare items, from any on-line company that uses this anxiety ridden company as it carrier. You will be a nervous wreck hoping your item makes it to you. USPS is NOT to be trusted to deliver. When you track your item, it appears to be stuck, then you really start to worry because of the time lapse. I have had this entity lose a package of mine and I am very worried about another. I was able to get refunded, but when you are a collector, that is not the point. You can not reach an actual human being to talk to when you call "customer service". What you get is directed back to the main menu, regardless of what you press. I can not believe in this day and age a giant like USPS is treating paying customers this way. I was better off booking a flight to the location where I bought my item and picking it up. Never again.

DHL to USPS
August 10, 2023

Whenever I see my package coming dhl, I know that it will end up with usps. A package from the UK took 1 day to get here in Ohio. Then usps gets it and it takes over a week to have it delivered. I could have drove to pick it up but they do not allow that. USPS had always been expensive, ran horribly, and it will remain this way because it's usa main making system.

I am not satisfied with USPS estimated delivery dates. I understand that shipping from US to UK can take up to 15 days as estimated period, but it is too much to wait 20 or more days for the item, when it is estimated maximum of 15 days. In many cases items stay in facility for several days, before they find airplane which flies to current country.
USPS is not reliable company and i am not happy with shipping period. This forces me to make bad review, even if it is bad telling these things in public. Sorry!

The worst
January 5, 2020

Some of my very important mail gets delivered to wrong address. The tracking number will say delivered and there's no prove it was delivered to me. They lost some of my government documents while tracking says delivered. I lost some packages too and all of that is because of some employees that don't take their job seriously and some are dishonest. Yesterday I had another new issue with a package was supposed to be guaranteed delivered on Saturday. I was home working on the from yard until night, then I received a massage says there was a delivery attempt. I looked into the details, they driver said that "Driveway was not accessible". Seriously? My garage door was opened all the way and I was in the front. The problem is I paid for next day delivery because I needed it for a big job that starts on Monday and it's 3 days job that needs this equipment. I really would like to see USPS either get a quality of controlled or leave business.

BAD. They are lazy and bad.

They should be embarrassed.

The delivery thing in the mailbox was too big and could not take out. It should be delivered in front of the house but they just pushed into the mailbox.

Also somebody USPS person stole my stuff. I ordered a few things while I am traveling, for about two weeks. My package and letters are gone. Nothing in the mailbox. Even no note. We called the USPS but they did not want to help at all.

Miss delivered package
January 6, 2023

Usps delivered my package to the house across the street from. I have it on camera. When I went up there to post office. They said they would have mail person retrieve it. It's a drug dealing house so I won't go near it. This was 3 days ago and still no package or response from usps. All our house on the street are clearly marked. No excuses. No wonder usps has the lowest rating and reviews. What happened to them. Used to be great.

I have been waiting g on a package since the Sept 20th it has pasted threw Birmingham's alabama 5 times and still not sent out to be delivered to its destination to be delivered to my house there has been noting but issues from this post office there needs to be a inquiry into the main post office it been a main issue im hoping when the new post master comes in at the end of this month th that will start getting rid of people who are there just collecting a pay check here are picks to prove the truth

Delivery wrong.

Ordered a package that would take a week or so to get to my house. Delivery status updated to 30 minutes from my house. Turns out they sent it back half way across the states to NY? If you were 30 minutes from me why send it back the same day and not deliver!
