The item was collected by USPS on the 20th April at Inglefield Indiana, May 11th it arrived in Newark US.
Your item departed a transfer airport in NEWARK INTERNATIONAL, NEWARK, UNITED STATES on May 12,2020 at 6:55 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.
This item has been travelling around USPS distribution centres in the US for nearly 1 month! Are they talking 10 Egyptian days for delivery?. I don't expect to see the item for another week minimum. Unbelievably bad delivery service!

The USPS is so bad it's difficult to insult them enough. That might be because at the end of the day its not really a service. Its a monopoly owned by foriegners which control our government. Usefull idiots are hired to deliver the mail to cover up all the other nefarious activities. Because of the pressure on the drivers they tend to develop an attitude and will likely damage fragile items as often as possible. Don't let them know you are making money on ebay, don't write the word fragile or it becomes a target for sure. Usps is a $#*!hole business and has declined to the point its literally a joke. They always need more money because they never intended to focus on quality and certainly the customers do not possess the power to beg for mercy when shipping expensive items. The insurance claim process is so complicated they almost guarantee to wear you down so you don't pursue your rights to question why they intenfully damaged your property in which they have zero regards for. The system is so dumb they fail to realize do unto others as you would have done unto you. Tear it down, the most disastrous service ever created. Please tear it down.

There isn't enough space for me to write the 25 chapter book of my experiences? I have got wet mail on a dry day, opened mail (NOT open until the mail carrier got it, no blue bag) packages not delivered close to my mail box or in plain site, a gas bill not delivered because I was told, by the post office it wasn't important (I went to pick it up at the post office). The mail carrier said my sidewalk had too much snow on it, but delivered next door and I did snow removal for my sidewalk and 3 houses before mine at the same time and he delivered to those houses just fine? (a woman in heels walked by my house 4 times that day) I also didn't get an electric bill delivered for 2 days, after complaining, day 3 it was delivered? I have had a package sit at the post office from early Saturday morning until Sunday so they could pay a guy to come in Sunday and deliver packages? (The post office claims they are going broke because everyone uses the internet for mail) Even thou I am disabled (New York State disability), I was told by a mail carrier, I should be working? I watched a mail carrier going threw the mail looking for money, that's why I got a letter opened that had a financial return address? I have had my mail delivery time go from 8:30 - 9:30AM to 1:30 - 5:30PM because the person in charge at the post office decided they didn't like me and it will never be changed back! The more I complain to the main post office, the worse things get!

Too strong

Our postal worker at Stone Lake, WI comes on really strong. It's almost obnoxious. It's ok to be polite and one should in customer service but this lady takes her job WAY TOO SERIOUSLY.

I live in a condo building. Every condo building has a front and a back entrance. But, No, USPS sees the front entrance closed off and doesn't THINK!, to go around. First of all, how do they think homeowners get into their homes, Fly!. Only USPS doesn't go aroung to the front. UPS, FED EX, AMAZON, INSTACART… they all can figure it out. Not USPS, DUMP, DUMP AND LAZY!

"Priotity" Mail?
August 31, 2023

After paying for a Priority Mail service and waiting 1 week without a delivery, the best that Alfreida Nixon, a Supervisor "Customer Service" was able to provide was a:

It is very possible for the item to have been delivered

It took 3 calls to 3 different agents Cirem, Rihana and Chris, a case opening, an escalation to the case, and a Search Request (MRC 23 1670 3964) to finally, one week later, get USPS to search my package and deliver it to the final destination (in Chicago). USPS Chicago team had my package for over a week without delivering it. I really hope my package is not damaged.

If you want your package to be deliver use anything except for USPS

Tracking an Amazon order to be delivered on Friday Aug 25 to Biloxi, Ms. 1st to Atlanta, Ga then 3 days in Mobile, Al, then 1 day in Palatine, Il, then Back to Atlanta, Ga it is now the 30th of August! I bet it goes back to Mobile, Al again.

Using the West Lafayette, IN post office this past time was a nightmare. I overnighted a package, and specified that it not be delivered on Saturday(In writing, directly on the package using their form). Of course, they tried to deliver it on Saturday anyway, and marked it for redelivery on Monday. They then didn't deliver it in Monday, or Tuesday. Then when I called customer service they changed it to be picked up at the post office, which was not at all what I asked for and not even possible for the person receiving the package. Customer service told me to ask the people at the local post office for a refund. I asked for a refund and the manager at the WL office refused because "the clock stopped when they tried to deliver it on Saturday, so they technically made it in 24 hours" (even though they didn't go back Monday or Tuesday). He then got upset, basically yelling, saying "I'm just trying to do my job" when I tried inquiring how to get a refund… which was confusing because I had no idea why HE was mad. I wasn't even mad, and I wasted two days on the phone to send a supposed "one day delivery package." I ended up having to send the package again, losing out on $30. Boo to you west's Lafayette Post Office.

So many issues, so little space... I mailed 2 cards to my brother in Ohio (from GA) this past couple months... an anniversary card one month, a birthday card for his wife the prior month -- neither one was received, although they have had the same address for 30+ years, which I of course know by heart, as we used to say.
Also, I signed up for "informed delivery" which is supposed to show you what mail is coming each day -- turns out this is a half truth, since the daily email from USPS typically has missing mail and a disclaimer for such. Today, I went online to track a package, a pair of shoes I bought online, and the tracking number revealed a message reading, "service unavailable at this time" and an apology, which is laughable, since an apology without intention to do better is worthless and a lie.
So, then I clicked the feedback hyperlink, and guess what? I received an error message saying service is unavailable at this time, along with the blah blah blah apology.
Here's a tip: RAISE THE RATES ON BULK MAIL so that companies don't send us insurance and credit card and healthcare ads daily at almost no cost to them, and this crap mail diminishes, and then US citizens regain a decent timeframe and quality to our legitimate mail, for which the postal services was originally created and should be serving, as opposed to a slave to capitalism. UGH.

I live in the US but my family lives partially in South Africa and Russia, and I used to send gifts for my children and grandchildren by USPS. I am done! I will never ever use this terrible service and do not suggest to anyone to use it. It was a time when they take First Class to ship Internationally but not any longer. There is no option but use Priority mail International. It took extremely long to get your postage anytime but now it is really ridiculous. I send Christmas Gifts in November 2020, to South Africa, which were received, (NOT DELIVERED), in the end of January. Even more interesting, Post Office took 50% tax from my family for their Christmas gifts. I was terribly mad but used USPS again to send Birthday Gifts to my grandchildren in February 3rd 2021, (birthday April and May), this box arrived yesterday, May 5th, and again, my daughter was charged 50% of value of this gifts and Drive to get it, standing for over an hour in line. Is it really Priority something? But USPS promise to deliver it in about 10 days with delivery and no charge as it is not commercial but gift.
