I sent a large Priority Mail package on Thursday 11/16/23. I paid $22.80 for Priority delivery service and printed right on my receipt it said 2-day expected delivery on Saturday 11/18/23. I used Priority Mail and paid Priority prices because I needed the package to reach its destination quickly. On Saturday afternoon I looked up the tracking number and saw that the expected delivery date was still on track for that day, 11/18 by 8pm. Great! Saturday came and went...no package was delivered. Throughout the day on Sunday I checked again and no expected delivery date was listed --the only info available was that my package was "moving through" and "arriving and departing regional facilities". So the day BEFORE it is arriving and departing regional facilities...my package was listed as "out for delivery"...then it magically disappears from the radar is bouncing from arriving and departing "facilities". So finally today, Monday, 11/20/23 --- TWO DAYS PAST the expected delivery date that I paid for with supposed "Priority shipping" and now my package is listed as "Out for Delivery"... I will believe it when my daughter calls and says she has the package in her hands. Priority Mail prices have gone UP...but the service has gone WAYYYY DOWN. You pay premium "priority prices" for substandard, delayed service with inaccurate tracking information. Not to mention the beat up condition of the packages when they arrive. Unless the package is delayed for weeks or doesn't show up at all the Post Office won't do anything to compensate you for your inconvenience. It's ridiculous.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!

If my packages aren't sitting in Baton Rouge for days, they are shuttling across the country after sitting at a facility 30 minutes away! It's a constant nightmare when dealing with USPS!

I mailed a Birthday card to my Step son. He never received the card. It was returned as underliverable and unable to forward. However, the envelop had been opened and a $50.00 dollar bill stolen!

Website is pretty easy to use. I use it when I need to put a hold on my mail (i. E. I go on vacation) or need to figure out the postage for something that is not a standard letter.

Refused to take accountability for lost package
August 16, 2023

I ordered $90.08 worth of merchandise to be shipped through the Rexburg, ID postal service. I was notified that my package was delivered, but nothing showed up at my door. I went to the post office the same day and explained what happened. The girl at my desk took my name, number, and tracking information. She told me my package was delivered to the wrong address. She told me her supervisor was out of the office, but that either he would call me with an update, or my package would be delivered to my door that same day. Nothing showed up, and nobody called me. I went through the same process the next two days, I was never contacted with updates like promised, and I had to physically go to the office to get any kind of information. I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told they couldn't find my package, but my package was insured up to $100, but I had to submit my claim online. I went through the process of submitting all my information online (which is poorly designed and NOT user friend) only to be informed I was ineligible for a refund. I tried to call the office multiple times, but their phone system is so poorly designed and incompetent that I was NEVER routed to speak to an actual person.
I was basically screwed $90 and a lot of my time to ultimately have nothing done.
I am so angry that I'm the one who has to pay for their mistake. I'm very displeased with the service and I'm seriously considering hiring a lawyer, just so they realize they have to take some responsibility for their actions.

On 18 Oct 2021, a package of mine was shipped in hopes that it

Told me to wait longer. The second case was closed and told me
To wait longer if it didn't show up to file a claim. I don't want to file
A claim. And the last case number ******* was closed within
Three days and USPS did not contact me to tell me why. The item
Was being shipped to my APO (Overseas Military) address. I
Contacted the Military Postal Service Agency and they have no
Additional tracking on their end, meaning it was not handed over
To the military. A USPS employee either stole this package, or it's
Still sitting somewhere in a sort facility.

Always having problem in delivery.
August 13, 2022

This is insane. I bet it's not the first time or second time that USPS have done this. Barely NONE OF THE MAILMAN KNOCK THE DOOR MORE THAN ONCE. I was home for an entire day and I heard no door knocking. Then I saw the redelivery form stating that no one is in home responding. Like if I ever heard that! It's the second time I received this kind of redelivery form. I contact them again yesterday and they said they will send it on today. I sat in front of the door today for the entire morning and afternoon, I see no USPS truck STOP BY. This is ridiculous and shameful that the mailman did not knock the door and just tape the redelivery form inside the envelop. THIS IS TERRIBLE.

I ordered a instant heat water heater being delivered by USPS they gave me three notices that I to schedule redelivery that was a hassle each time but they never come up my driveway my cameras and myself they never come up my driveway all they did was pull up to my mailbox and put the notice in the box not once today drive up my driveway and knock on my door or anything so I wound up purchasing the product somewhere else I told them the sales company that sells the the product to not use USPS anymore because I've heard of same other problems in the area

Which Way is North?
February 8, 2023

Mailed a letter with tracking at the local post office on December 23,2022 which I was hoping would arrive shortly after Christmas. This is the history of its travels until it was delivered on January 6,2023. FYI, Eugene is significantly south of Portland and Seattle is significantly north of Portland (wrong way Corrigan, lol?). Guess this explains why the PO says they don't have overnight delivery.

Don't waste your time on 800 ask usps
September 7, 2022

USPS- For 3 weeks my disabled sister and I delt with Amazon and the VERY USELESS 800askusps number to find a missing package. The USPS scanned the package (puppy pee pee patch)that it was delivered 'in or around the mailbox'. My sister lives in an apartment complex that would make that impossible. (See pic. Item the day before delivered TO DOOR) This was explained several times to Amazon and the 800 number for USPS. It seemed that nothing was going to happen. The USPS never even contacted us after a case was opened to investigate. Today I called the LOCAL post office where my sister lives. It took a whole 2 minutes to find out that it was delivered to the wrong address. Local post office is THE BEST!

Terrible service
June 22, 2023

Ordered two packages that unfortunately were mailed with USPS, they did one delivery attempt and took it back to the office, cannot schedule a redlivery using their awfull page, send multiple emails, called but the useless automated system couldn't get my tracking number right, no matter at what speed I typed it and never connected me to an agent.
