I have an issue with the current delivery person from my local post office and the postmaster seems to not care at all about it. The driver does not deliver anything he has to step out of his truck for and does not leave delivery notices when he does not get out of his truck. He also does not stop when the pick up flag is out. I had the same issue a while back with the delivery of my VA prescriptions and was forced to go to the post office for my medications!
This is the worst employer on earth. Inhumane! Nobody should apply to work for USPS. You are better off working for UPS and agreed! Better benefits too! It is a heat wave out in NYC this week and the manager and postmaster have the audacity to say go work overtime for free. Meaning you finish your own route and then do another route for free. The salary is already low enough. Now these greedy devils who gets bonuses for forcing people to complete work in 8 hours are treating them like animals. Rushing them and don't give them OT. Now with the summer heat wave they want to dump more work and not want to pay! What in the world is this. Work someone to death in this heat! This is slavery!
USPS has messed up a delivery three times in as many months. They excel at mysterious, changing delivery dates and single-celled employees who somehow know nothing about obtaining package whereabouts despite clearly working their since the days of the Pony Express.
Not every order from them is delayed or missing, but every order that's delayed or missing is from them.
Everything from sending my stuff across the country to not being able to find my address every once in a while for no apparent reason, to even claiming to have dropped the order off on time only to bring it late the next day.
There is just nothing redeeming about them.If they could not exist that would be great.
I have been waiting for a package from Amazon for days. I finally tracked the package and read that USPS "tried to deliver" a week ago. Nonsense. UPS and Fedex can get to my house, but USPS never bothers. And they left no notice in my mailbox. This has happened again and again. I hope never to have anything delivered by USPS again. The worst.

Simply put, having small packages shipped through USPS should not be so complicated. Yet time and again, they prove to be plan ruiners. Unable to be timely and it isn't worth the hassle. I try to use other options when I can.
I ordered something on ebay, and been tracking it via USPS. It first ended up in Chicago, then St. Paul. Apparently somebody messed up because it got sent back to Chicago, then St. Paul, then Minneapolis, and back at St. Paul again. Seriously, those idiots better start getting their *$ together and start earning their keep! What the *&^% are we even paying them for?!
I went to the postal office Cudahy, CA Los Angeles to send some Doc's to Tegucigalpa, HN. Placed on Sept 8,2017. Package left USA until Sept. 24? Still not registered in Honduras. It has been in route for more than a month, they told me in the postal service it would take 6-9 business days to arrive. Really? It has been more than 30 working days and still not there. I should have sent it thru DHL pay a little more but their service is excellent. I have received packages from Honduras to Los Angeles in 3-5 days. Bad decision to use USPS.
About 6 months ago I purchased an item online. According to USPS tracking package arrived in Denver sort facility. After an investigation item was lost. On February 29th, 6 months later I had another item lost. Apparently package made it to Golden CO post office where an individual picked it up. USPS confirmed my name and address were on package but could tell me "who" picked it up. USPS should get out of the shipping business. Only the government bailing them out keeps them in business. They do not care nor do they need to care.
We shipped a package that included mementos of our recently deceased mother/grandmother. We (mistakenly) put an incorrect destination address & zip on the package. Upon realizing our mistake, we reached out to our Local & USPS Centers. They jumped through hoops and followed the package to insure it arrived at the correct destination. Hats off to Riverton, UT & Tyler, TX USPS. Well done and thank you.
Our Warrington Postal Carrier has been routinely scanning in packages, and then leaving notices of unsuccessful delivery attempt without ever getting out of the truck. What we first thought was pure laziness on the carrier's part, after doing this two days in a row, when confronted and asked why wouldn't she get out of the truck and deliver the packages, she replied "There's no room on the truck for your packages; "You have to got to Post Office to pick them up!, trust me you're not the only one this is happening too!" When questioned what were you scanning, she said a picture of the barcode so we can prove to the sender(Amazon) a delivery attempt was made. Apparently the USPS is way over their head & overwhelmed, and this is their "Standard Operating Procedure to solve their problem. Had to get Amazon involved to ship me another item
Everything always comes late or not at all! Today was especially frustrating because now I am getting the slips of paper that tell me to pick my package up at the post office! I am an online student, and home all day. I also have the ring app which allows me to see people who come up to my door. I went through every single alert, and the mail carrier DID NOT walk up to my door and attempt to deliver it. I expressed my annoyance to the lady working there, and she just shrugged her shoulders and continued her conversation with the other lady working at the counter. Super disappointed.

These folks have my mail rerouted and my address crossed out in my informed delivery. NOBODY can explain who did it AND refuse to fix it. Consumer affairs supposedly the highest escalation of complaint told me my complaints gettn ignored because I'm being irate. Maybe I'm irate because I'm not getting help or maybe the fact nobody can even answer who tf changed the info in the first place. These people gettn paid to deliver mail and dumping people mail anywhere they see fit. I have voice recordings but site jabber only allow pics/videos….not recordings. Anyway this the system/ organizations people vote in and choose to pay their taxes to so it won't ever change.These people don't even deserve a check. They have a police line I called and the police woman I spoke to said she can't even figure out why they connected and can't do anything to help. The whole system is a farce.
I don't know why it is so hard for our rural mail carrier to do his job. Seriously, his only job is to make sure we get our packages and mail. I ordered some special diet dog food for my diabetic dog. I look on Informed Delivery and it says it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Looked on informed delivery again at the end of the day, because it should have been delivered and the scan said 'no secure location'. What? THis same carrier brought two large packages this week to me because they wouldn't fit in the box. I hurried and requested a re-delivery for today, and same freaking thing. I am frustrated and my dog does not have his special food. I am so tired of fighting for my items that I paid for.
I ordered from a site with two day shipping on March 31st. They shipped my package in two days as promised and the package began moving in went from California to Florida ( the state I shipped it to) and has been trapped there since April 5th. I have not received an update from usps since. Its been 4 days shy of a month and well past the time I needed the clothes by and I am yet to get any information. Every time usps ships my package something happens to it. This service is garbage, if you have to ship something please use another service if possible.
I have been going through issues with the postal service for years. The last time I called and drove to the Monroe NC post office reported to them that my package was left in the rain on my driveway to the road. They put me through some loops and they told me to return the package back to the post office. The supervisor took my package gave me a receipt, filed a claim, and never got my refund from them. They can keep this money. But I know they have lost my business. I feel sorry for them.
I waited in a 30 minute hold to talk to a representative about my package not being sent to my address, and when I finally got someone to pickup on the other line, they sat in silence trying to make me think that they weren't there or that the line disconnected. I could tell that there was someone there because of the echo I received each time I'd press pound on the keypad. After 10 minutes of subtle breathing and no answers, they hung up on me. Lousy people working for a lousy corporation.

Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
