I ordered a replacement card 3 weeks ago and i still haven't received it so finally get a hold of somebody on the phone after like 300 trys so I tell them I have to order a new replacement card cuz i didn't get the first one I ordered but this time i paid more to get it expedited to me cuz I need my card ta use my money they tell me your get it in 2 days right here it is 6 days later still have not gotten it an still can't get a real human on the God dame phone DO NOT use Direct Express they are awful this sucks i can't get any of my money there should be another way to access your money this is bul$#*! one's I get my replacement card whenever that will be I'm taking all my $#*!in money out and putting it into a bank account $#*! Direct Express I haven't been able to get to walk in days because I don't have my card to put money in my gas tank this is awful the amount of stress I have this month because of this is on real $#*! u guys u suck u suck u suck I want my money back for the card I paid for to get it expedited to me because if it's not here by that time u say it will be an im gonna have to wait an wait what's the point of paying extra to get extradited to me u will be here from me that's for shore if I could actually get ahold of somebody on the $#*!in phone go $#*! yourself don't use Direct Express they are awful this has been the worst thing ever you're lucky I had to give u $#*!s 1 star ta except this review cuz u wouldn't be getting noon

If I could give this company a 0 rating I would. Don't try to file a dispute with them. Someone can walk out of your house and wipe out your bank acct. And they say no fraud found! I don't think anyone there does their job. Find a different way to do your banking. They screw over the low income and needy.

This place sucks you can't get ahold of a live person I've been trying for 3 days and if you need to get money off your debit you can only get $2,000 at one time then you have to wait a certain numbers before you can get any more I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Feels like living in a hostage situation because i takes days to get ahold of someone leaving a disabled person to starve with the constant locking up the cad or flagging it for fraud when making purchases or making it hard to pay the bills

Called 20 times throughout the day for my mother so I could hand her the phone. Not once after entering the same credentials, over and over, did I even make it to being on hold. Just a hang up each time. Website didn't have our issue. Simple fix to just needed 2 minutes from anyone.

This bank blocks paypal instacart gas pumps double charging ATM fees. The store an bank both charge ATM fee at the same time. They hangup if you have an issue with there bank. They monitor what you buy lets say you purchase a virtual private server to record cameras. They start blocking payments to that VPS. Im disabled was hit by cop car an litigating. While doing so they go after cellphones by jamming calls an block transactions with any bank. They even erased pin number off local bank an teller said she never seen a card with no pin setup at all the whole time shes worked there. I had ambulance pull over on a highway demanding I get in for no reason I started recording an they ran away. I was already getting help with lawyers an my own doctors. So what Ive lerned is if you sue a county they control all banks an phones in there town. The ambulance said I was using my phone as a weapon as they drove past me window down. As I recorded them. Go figure a bank trusted by the feds works with local county to keep me from recording misconduct. I have to go to great lengths to spend money an wire funds to my VPS. They are threatening by blocking spending or erasing pen numbers off real banks in your local town. They even just now blocked my login attempt with usdirectexpress.com. I have not forgotten my login same code ten years old..

Did not get my paid for expidted service 5 Days ago, no personal interaction, as soon as I called and transfer Ed the operator hung up on me with out answering the expidted call. I'm on disability and that money for rent ecetra, now I have late fees posting do to csr's hanging up intentionally when n Thier phone is called. Terrible, service and terrible work ethic. I'm a Military Veteran. Do not use this so called customer service company. The worst service I have ever had calling FBI to stop this SCAM once and for all.

No one answers the phone

I've been meaning to change my direct deposit well I finally did it this morning
Direct express is slow with any changes
They advertise to get your money early not true
I am on vacation and I have no way to transfer funds it takes 5 days
I am locked out of my account waited on hold four a hour finally hung up and got my direct deposit updated to go to my bank

Bad customer service
January 25, 2022

On Jan 19,2022 I had 2 transactions at the same place. Both transactions were charged double on my account causing me to have a hefty overdraft. I called them on Jan 28, they said it would take 24 hours for my money to go back to my card. Well 30 hours later I was still overdrawn. I called back, this time I was told it takes 3 days to go back to the card. Well today Jan 25 still not back to my card. I called again. The agent said I need to wait 2 more days. I at this time lost my patience. I told her I call bull$#*!. It has been 6 damn days and I want my damn money now. She transferred me to a supervisor. Just 2 minutes into my talk with the supervisor, we either got disconnected or she hung up on me. Tomorrow Jan 26 I plan to go see my county attorney and bring theft by deception charges. Theft is what it is. According to direct express, each transaction 1 has been paid out while the other is sitting with a hold. $300 of my money has a hold so yeah I call total bull$#*!

It is nearly impossible to get through on the phone numbers they provide, And there are only two. I've been trying for days and finally mailed a letter to them, so if you have an emergency, you are out of luck!

I have been on the phone since 6am for a prepaid company that I have been using they service since 2008'. I made 5 transaction last night and somewhere in those transaction up the company because my card has been locked every since I made those purchases. The agents that get on the phone seem very nevous and unwilling to help. On Direct Express website it states that once u let them know these are your. Transations the card must be unlock immediately. However, I have been getting.and extremely dictatorship vibe from them. Although.my funds are or come from the SSA for disabled this the not mean I can't constitute or delegate where my money should be spent. Then to add insult to injury they unlock the card so I can pay my Genoa pharmacy bill. These agents got to be from 3rd world countries with three and four wives because as I was speaking they listening in where I have no voice. Please help *******@gmail.com

New DE App limited

New Direct Express App only allows a few most recent transaction, unlike the older version which was much better. Unfortunately I deleted to old version App and can't get it back. I'm very disappointed.

They've taken countless amounts of fees for me ridiculous amounts, like this year I only had this card til July and they took $25 from me everytime you buy fast food they hold anywhere from $0.50-3$ EVERYTIME. Then they never answer their phones can't get ahold of them ever. I've switched to current mobile banking and let me tell you it's been a blessing! NO FEES or get my check 2-6 days earlier and on top of it free atms all over the place and I get a free overdraft fee of up to 100$ best mobile banking I've ever came across!

Horrible customer service

Horrible rude customer service my mother locked her card up by putting in the wrong pin too many times we called to get it resolved and the card was still not working they talked to me and my mother like we were dumb after an hour on the phone and 5 different people I finally got someone to help us turns out it was something they were doing wrong on their part if I could give a 0 star I would they need to learn how to talk and treat people with some respect absolutely horrible my mother has terrible anxiety and by the end of the phone call she was shaking and crying

They are unprofessional, rude, thieves and the man Juan who assisted me and my partner not only told me I was disrespectful for suggesting he take off his headset, because he had hearing problems, but called me an $#*! in Spanish, presuming I don't know Spanish. They basically will not release my funds after a stolen card had been replaced. SSI states that there is no reason for the card to be hogtied. It's now 2 days before Christmas and this payment we expedited by overnighting the card has been tied up in verification nonsense. I mailed in my IDs got verified and then still couldn't get a pin number. The employee Juan then admitted that I sent in ALL my data SSN, dob, address, and 2 photo IDs to the wrong address for verification. So I resend all my IDs and they still will not release the funds. They push me back to SSI. Do your own research. There are plenty of negative reviews online. This company has been holding funds deliberately, and I am seeking help from my congressman and maybe the AG too.

THIS IS INSANE! THEY TOLD ME HOW TO SHOP WHERE TO AND WERE NOT SHOP ONLINE AND I NOW NEED PERMISSION TO BY THEM TO SHOP FREELY FOR ONLY 3 DAYS! I'm HOMEBOUND I DO NOT HAVE NOR NEED CASH! MY PHARMACY REFUSES TO TAKE THIS CARD AS PAYMENT BECAUSE OF REFUSALS OF PAYMENT BY DIRECT EXPRESS! I'm HOMEBOUND. I do all my shopping online! Its 1 thing to say FRAUD, WE LOCKED U (GREAT UNLOCK ME)... ITS A MULTITUDE LEVELS OF WRONG TO MAKE ME ASK PERMISSION TO USE MY FUNDS FOR 3 DAYS MAX... THEN CALL AGAIN! THIS HAS TO BE ILLEGAL!

A live person at Direct Express is impossible to reach. I must get up at 5:30 am in order to reach a live person if there is a problem. After they cancelled my card, they issued a new one and now when I use it they decline the new card. Last week I needed to call, two times I was on hold for 55 minutes, I hung up. With the third call I held for 66 minutes before I could talk to the rep. I see this as another way Direct Express enjoys more float revenue, using my hard earned social security money to make more money for Comerica Bank, already YUGELY uber rich. Disgusting what our lazy elitist elected official overlords have passed on to us through their egomaniacal privatization done to help their privileged wealthy "friends" at our expense. Rules they make but don't have to live by demonstrates this is not a democracy as is alleged.
