I found my experience to be very good. The staff very helpful and efficient. The car of good quality and condition. Unlike some other car hire companies, the service was clear, honest and no caveates or tricks to try to obtain more money in a dishonest fashion.
My only negative comment would be that the requirements for hiring i. E the need for an international driving permit and other requirements need to be at the forefront of the booking not buried in the paperwork. If like me you are booking last minute, it is difficult to obtain these documents.

My experience is ALWAYS great but this last time the receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. I was late picking the car up which was DEFINITELY my mistake because I thought that because I paid a deposit it would hold it the car for me but that's not the case. When I got there the receptionist came from the back with voice raised telling me how I almost lost my rental. She said that she called and left a message letting me know that but when I tried to show her I had no call or voicemail, she gave me an oh well attitude and proceeded with what she was doing. Also she was about to give me a speech about how she hoped the car was for me but I kind of cut her off. At 38 yrs old I didn't need that, I'm well aware of the rules there as I have rented NUMEROUS times from them. As I said experience is usually GREAT but I guess it wasn't her day this particular day

We rented a van to go to Santa Rosa Florida. Very helpful and friendly staff. The process was easy and fast. Drop off was also easy and fast. Highly recommend U-save for all vehicle rentals. Kind, courteous, and friendly. The process was extremely better than Enterprise.

Man wollte uns noch eine Zusatzversicherung in Höhe von 250 € vermitteln, obwohl wir bereits zuvor ein Komplett-Versicherungs-Paket gebucht hatten (insgesamt 410 € für 10 Tage). Dabei war der Vermittler äußerst penetrant und nachher sogar beleidigt und äußerst unfreundlich. Als wir am Ende das Fahrzeug ohne Mängel abgegeben haben, bestand ein Mitarbeiter des Unternehmens U-Save darauf, dass wir 500 € bezahlen müssen bzw. Von der Kaution einbehalten wird, da wir in Richtung Bovilla Lake gefahren sind. Wir haben ihm erklärt, dass wir bis zum Ende der asphaltierten Straße - gut und sicher befahrbare Straße - gefahren sind und den Rest des Weges mit einem Taxi zum See/Restaurant und wieder zurück zu unserem Auto gefahren sind. Es sind keinerlei Mängel/Schäden in der ganzen Leih-Zeit an dem Fahrzeug durch unsere Nutzung entstanden, was durch das Rückgabe-Protokoll eindeutig hervorgeht. Dieses Verhalten bzw. Diese Forderung von 500 € ist nicht legitim und ist auch nicht akzeptabel. Ein derartiges Geschäftsgebaren ist uns in keinem unserer vorherigen Urlauben begegnet
