If feel dumb and deceived for trusting this website and shame on me for not looking at reviews before I ordered. I surprised my wife with a Tokay Gecko, was so excited and relieved him with in 24 hrs of ordering. Upon arrival he was extremely skinny and very underweight. Being reptile owners we were upset but sprung into action and did everything possible to bring him back. He was 12 inches and only weighed 68gr. Being that long and age he should have been close to 120g at least. Not knowing anything about his living conditions prior we just figured of course they didn't feed them well. We got him in his enclosure and gave him about 4-5 days to acclimate to his home. During the time we gave him crickets, supermorms and roaches. He would strike but not eat or put it in his mouth shake and spit them out. After day 5 we decided to take the chance and get him out. We'd get him to open his mouth and toss in a worm here and there. We thought it was a win because he ate them. The problem after handling him he was so weak so we'd put him back and give him a couple days. This went on for a day short of a month when he passed away while trying to feed him. My heart breaks because we pour 1000% into our babies and we could not save him. We thought he was getting better and moving more but in the end we believe he was just hanging onto a string. I feel so sad, mad and down right heart broken about losing Arceus. He will forever be a God to us but we will never tell anyone to buy from Underground reptiles and will be deleting anything to do with them.
NEVER BUY FROM THEM EVER!

Do not get anything from this place my flieshmanns glass tree frog refuses to eat and they were so rude and a terrible help to me and what i needed exactly for the frog i do not recommend them at all.

Ordered 3 red ear sliders transaction and order process went very smooth. All 3 turtles arrived alive and healthy definitely will order from them again.

I recently placed and won a bid on an auction for a female yellow Amazon tree boa, I paid and received a completely different snake when I called and emailed I was told that the animals in the auction are preselected and I get what I get, lol Wich I thought was incredibly ballsy, I have yet to receive my money or the animal I paid for, I will not advise anyone to shop from them,

Worst place to buy a snake I bought an emerald tree boa 4 months ago and it refused to eat and hasn't really done much of anything and really in bad shape and they didn't seem to give a f**k about anything cause they got their money pretty sure it will be dead if the next month cause it is skin and bones. What ever you do go with a better reptile store they are not a good choice to buy from

I've the reviews on UG R but most of these bad reviews are from those who did not take care of animal properly after purchasing not to say all who added a bad review are inexperienced because things do happen sometimes wheather conditions, no fault of UGR but those who actually delivered your animal may have not taken all precautions to make sure your pet gets to you safely overall UGR IS TOPS great communication and good shipping my animals were all in good condition and lively got to mention healthy thanks UGR

My spider arrived with 3 missing legs and they never responded to my repeated email. He died in my hand.

I may just be wasting my time, ranting but hopefully this reaches at least a few buyers. I purchased a Pacman frog in winter of 2022 and after a long battle with a fungal disease my pacman frog has died (june 2023). I took him to the vet because I knew this couldnt have been starvation nor the habitat I had him in and my vet informed me it looked like he had been strugging with a fungal infection since likely before we received him (at underground reptiles terrible facility)

I was shipped an adult red-eye tree frog from underground reptiles. After moving him into my 36 gallon enclosure with my two healthy green tree frogs, the frog was dead on the floor within 48 hours. When contacting them about it, they say they guarantee "live arrival and visibly healthy" but say they have no responsibility for "how the frog is cared after arrival". You can't tell if a frog is actually sickly or just adjusting to the new setting until at least a few days of having them. I explain my part to their support and instead of working things out with me, they ignore my emails until I take the "store credit" and shut up. If you're gonna buy online, go to Backwater...Underground is cheaper for a reason.

I placed an order with them paid for them and the shipping info next day receive an email from a transport company telling me I need to pay them $1750 for them to ship my animal to me contacted the seller and they told me it was on me to pay that When I explained, I cannot afford that much money for shipping. They canceled my order and will not give me a refund so I am out my money and I have no pet.

Don't forget to include the hidden vet bills during purchase cause that's where you'll be headed to right after delivery. (Spent nearly 2k with these people. They list these animals as "captive bred" but it's pretty obvious they aren't) Down below I will show some examples of some animals that I've had to deal with.

It honestly pains me to make this review, Im a huge fan of underground reptiles and have spent hundreds of dollars with them. However when everything goes there way and 1 thing does not go mine, they do no hesitate to give zero $#*!s. I had 200$ store credit from a while back and the day I decided to use it... they claim it as invalid saying that It doesn't belong to my email and to use a different email which unfortunately for me I have no idea which email I could have used. And instead of compensating or helping me they straight out did not care. And if they do care enough to respond they are probably going to give a smart $#*! answer or continue to not help the situation or let alone a loyal customer. Have a good day.

My turtle arrived dead today. I placed the order on December 21. I called and told them my turtle arrived dead, they told me I should've planned better. They shipped with NO GUARANTEE of LIVE ARRIVAL! I'm furious because I paid $45 for shipping alone! They were very nonchalant telling me to pay another $45 for shipping and they'll give me the turtle free….At this point I don't know if the turtle was alive or dead when they shipped it. So devastated because this was my son's Christmas gift…. If they believe the animal will arrive dead, they shouldn't ship it! That's how they got me with the fine print, I thought all animals should arrive with a guarantee alive arrival or replace the item; I paid $45 for shill to get a dead turtle and a "you can pay another $45", please do better

Said theyed replace a animal that passed away instead charged my account seriously $#*! you wouldn't even give a refund they are crooked people working for a crooked man happy holidays jack $#*!

Man I ordered two baby Asian water monitors from underground reptiles my first one I ordered back in August 2nd 2022 it passed away August 10th I just purchased another one for Black Friday this one just passed away 4 days ago come on man y'all need to do better people is spending they hard money for y'all to be sending out sick animals I'm going to keep writing them and let people know how bad y'all are I have a YouTube channel T&K reptiles go check the unboxing out

I opened my package and the little $#*!er wasnt in the container he jumped out on to me and screamed in my face It was really scary

I had a uromastyx shipped to my house in indiana and I asked about why no heat pack and they didnt want it to overheat (they are from florida). The uromastyx arrived at 9:44 am and the uromastyx was very cold and it seemed like it was dormant for a minute. But once i picked it up and placed it in the tank, 10 mins went by and it was active and laid down. It has not eaten yet most likely due to stress. But it has explored and seems very active and friendly. Just scared me that my first purchase felt like in the bag DOA (dead on arrival). But acting pretty docile and seems healthy. Thank you, Underground Reptiles for my Dream lizard.

I ordered a salcuta tortoise which arrived in a very Filthy and unhealthy condition and died after not even 10 hours. Issue is still being worked on since this wasnt even 24 hours ago.
