I will say that I am impressed with the speed of service to Canada. I've ordered two separate mystery boxes and they both arrived in under a week.
Now that I've had a chance to dig into them a bit and work with some other folks familiar with the saber scene, I've grown to appreciate what I received.
Both of the sabers I received are older models with the upgraded power button so I got what I paid for.
One of them uses two set screws to hold the blade in place and feels much more solid in the hand. This is the one that I'm most comfortable using.
The second one only has a single set screw that works its way loose during non-contact use while swinging around. As long as I remember to stop and tighten it occasionally, it doesn't fly out of the grip. Thinking I will probably drill and tap a second hole to improve the quality of it.
I do have a bit of a complaint in that I don't know what the odds are for getting something special in a mystery box. I couldn't find the odds posted on their site so I don't know if the videos I've seen online represent the only high end sabers in the boxes or not. It's nice that they can unload older stock through these and I enjoy the anticipation of potentially getting something more than I paid for but that's a gamble and I tend to like to know the odds when I'm gambling.
At the end of the day, I feel like I got my money's worth. We've had a bunch of fun playing around with these and I am likely to get further into the hobby as time goes on. There are a few areas for minor improvements keeping me from a full five stars but as a whole, this is a solid way into sports sabering.

I had recently placed an order for a lost gray saber and it looks amazing! However, I never asked for a recharge port in the order. I only wish that the assembling person on duty will pay closer attention for future orders.
