Very happy with the product and speed of delivery
I got the Initiate v3. I thought the saber I ordered was amazing right out of the box. But, the more I played with it the more disappointed I got. Delivery was fast like 5-7 days after ordering, I don't remember exactly. But checking out using Amazon, I was unable to find where to give covertec instructions, so I emailed the instructions. I didn't get what I wanted because it had shipped before they got my email. Still was mostly satisfied with the location though, would have been my second choice. Had to order a different color covertec to replace the wrong color one. Only other issue with the hilt is the av button shroud is loose and makes wiggly noise. I am however not very happy with the swing reaction and clash reaction. Only works sometimes. I thought for the money it would be more sensitive and react to movement and clashing every time. Perhaps I had my expectations to high. The sound quality is really good for what it is, which is loud. I did get the 4 channel board but I haven't played with that yet. I do love my hilt, and it gets better with every customization.
More than impressed with the product and the speed with which it was manufactured and shipped. A++

Amazing and good experience.
At first the batteries were faulty they seemed to discharge extremely fast and the charger was missing in original order, but they sent new batteries and the charger right away. Everything was packaged nicely and no damage was done to the item.
They have also been really responsive to any questions I had.
It is a really cool Saber, but I feel like it was a bit overpriced for what it is. What do I know though as it seems most custom sabers out their are around the same price.
The reason for the star loss was due to the lack of battery power available, I know I can personally add bigger batteries or in this case possibly longer batteries but I wish It had a longer battery life. The new batteries I can get around an hour life. The batteries can be a pain in the $#*! to get out and I always feel like I'm going to break it. Something this valuable should have a wrist strap (like wii remotes) I almost dropped it like 3 times already lol..
With UltraSaber, it has been my experience that there is no such thing as a return, and customer service/support rarely answer emails and never answer phone calls. I had issues with a defective saber and contacted them within three days (per their ridiculous policy) to start return. After several attempts to reach them about initiating a return I received one snippy email from customer support with a list of things to try which did not resolve my issues. No response when I told them this.
I decided to send product back per their policy. UltraSabers confirmed receipt of items and, despite several emails asking for my refund, they never gave any money back or store credit.
Finally, I initiated a chargeback through my credit card, and was surprised by all the lies that UltraSaber tried to make up after already admitting to receipt of the items.
At the end of the day, I am still without any compensation for my $500 purchase and UltraSabers does not appear to care. It has been a year now since the purchase so I do not expect anything will change.
Strongly advise anyone seeking a lightsaber purchase to go elsewhere. The folks at UltraSaberare, in my opinion, unethical and not worth the hassle when things go wrong.
I didn't order through the website, I bought mine at the Salt Lake Fanx Convention. I had some questions, and they were all answered by a particularly helpful and friendly staff member. I bought and received my product promptly, and I've been satisfied with the quality. I'm curious now that I'm an owner of the product if the circular impressions made by the Allen key tension screw will deteriorate the blade of the light saber overall over time, and weakening it to the point where it becomes unusable in the foreseeable future. I'm also curious if I should keep placing the screw in the same indents. At this point those are my only concerns, but as far as all other aspects of the product and customer service, I've been satisfied immensely.
Wish dimensions for saber hilts were posted online. I don't have a big hand and so the hilt for the butcher is cumbersome to hold. Wish I knew the circumference before purchasing it. Other than that the designs are beautiful.

Answer: Hello Dale R. What I can tell you is that Ultrasabers reside in Texas and I live in Southern Québec, in Canada. It took about 4 days for the two Sabers I ordered to get to me. That is extremely fast by my experience. I've been doing mail orders since 1995, between once a month to 4 times a year. In that time, I have never seen such speed. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes as far as I know all the hilts are made from aircraft aluminum
Answer: Currently it says they have a 4 week lead time meaning it should take 4 weeks to complete. However this is not accurate. I recently received an email saying that they were updating their lead times to be more accurate. Back to your question though. As you know we are stuck in a pandemic. This makes it hard for their providers to give them all the parts they need. So, it takes at least a couple more weeks currently to finish orders.

Answer: Yup they are from the USofA - I got mine from them, Im based in Australia so I had the same concerns - but the customer service it outstanding. They are expensive but well worth it!
