Ulta Beauty won't respond to my messages other than "for future orders change your address in our system"
NEVER. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I looked up reviews online and they actually do this to people all the time and get away with it. SEPHORA is better just saying. And they wonder why I've only shopped there like 1x a year if that. Now it will be never and I hope others follow suit. For a company to not take accountability for not taking action right away and intentionally shipping something to the wrong address after being advised is trash... then to tell me they won't refund or reship because it shows delivered to that address The WRONG address! I cant!
I bought some peppermint bath fizzers and wipes. They smelled like a nasty chemical and the fizzers didn't fizz. I contacted ulta and they said to bring them in and return them. I said how do I return 2 used bathbombs and wipes? No response. I said I guess I will stick to Sephora and they said ok sorry. That's it.
I have never encountered a lousy customer service than Ulta, s recently in September 2021 during the 21 days of beauty, ulta had a promo of adding 200 points towards your rewards if you shop atleast $50 or more. I spent about $500, the auto calculator did add the points for the money spent but when i reached out to the customer service for those extra200 poits, i got an email that i should get back after September 27th. Afterwards when sent a reminder again, i got multiple Ramblings non excuses in multiple emails that i had to reply NOT to email me anymore. I can only hope that no customer of ulta should have to contact these people. The amount of worst reviews that i just read for ulta customer service, I wonder how these people still work for ulta unless this is a policy choice by this corporation.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer I got from Ulta is a staple in my makeup bag. It covers imperfections flawlessly. The store was well-stocked, and the staff gave me tips on how to use it.
Ulta has something for everyone. Quality makeup and skin care in a range of pricing, so everyone can afford. They always have specials and I'm never disappointed. Great Customer Service as well.
The site itself is EXTREMELY well laid out & I especially appreciate the details in its search options. I know my skills n type but sometimes I want to try something new with no idea what could work HOWEVER it takes almost 2 weeks to receive items & its always delivered in a tore-up or squashed box thats barely held together by shipping tape. As much as I spend at Ulta I know they can do better.
I go to purchase one item, and leave with more. They have a good mix of premium beauty brands along with drugstore finds. You can always find what you need at Ulta!
Placed a large order, never delivered. Called Ulta, they were insensitive to the amount of money I lost placing my order and told me there was nothing they could do.
Scam company charge my order then package not received. I contacted 4 time but customer service ignored say wait, I wait 7 days no one rely, they are scams
From personal beauty products to the gifts that I get for my daughters- I have never been disappointed. I love this place. The staff and support are always helpful
From the tweezers, fingernail polish, paul mitchell shampoo that I love, cute purse mirrors, and great quality hair products are just the bomb to me. Ulta also give you pretty good rewards if you remain a loyal shopper with them. I like how they always keep great customer service reps no matter which one you go to in store. They are VERY HELPFUL, AND VERY PLEASANT. I'm big on customer service and this store is everything!
I love the variety of cosmetics, fragrances, hair goods this company offers. I do get coupons and use them. Staff is friendly and helpful. An enjoyable shopping experience.
Received my order with the item damaged and customer service rep would not help. They blamed transit company. Now my product is ruined and I'm out $50 bucks!
THEY HAVE AN REWARD SYSTEM WHERE YOU CAN REDEEM YOUR POINTS (from your purchases) INTO CASH THAT YOU CAN USE TOWARDS YOUR NEXT ORDER! With that being said, Ulta is a great place to shop for your beauty needs. They don't carry much of the prestige brands like Sephora does, but it's a great site to shop at if you're a budget buyer. Every once in a while, you get free shipping with $25 purchase.
I've been a loyal customer of Ulta for years. However, the company has really disappointed me in about 80% of my transactions over the past year. My last order came with a shattered candle, which spilled glass all over my floor and cut me when I opened the package. I cleaned that up and let Ulta know, and then they resent the package where the SAME ISSUE HAPPENED AGAIN, resulting in dangerous broken glass all over my house AGAIN! They were supposed to contact me regarding an investigation of this due to the severity and danger of the broken glass, but I have not been contacted since. Now I received another order and multiple items are missing, resulting in my having to contact customer service AGAIN. This is ridiculous and disappointing.
The customer service on shipping address change was awful. I input the correct address but when I clicked on 'submit' online, the system automatically switched it back to a previous address. Ulta customer support said they could not change the address. They asked me to refuse the package when it was delivered. But when the postman delivered the package, he did not knock the door so I was not aware of the delivery. I just called 'Ontrac', the shipping service partnered with Ulta. Again, they said nothing they can do and ask me to contact Ulta... It's a circle, back and forth and nobody helped me. What Ontrac customer told me was incorrect. They told me they can change the address for me once it arrives in their PHX facility location, and I can call them to change it. But the package only stayed there for 3 mins and out for delivery. How could I manage to change the address within such a short transition time? TOTALLY FRUSTRATION for both companies: ULTA BEAUTY and ONTRAC shipping.
Bought some beauty gift sets for my mom and she loves them! They offer great coupon codes for gifts with purchase and so I got a few great little treasures too :)
They are always having specials at the location near me and the staff go above and beyond to help out any way they can when I am in search of an item.
Opened up my Ulta on line order box to find my samples and no items I ordered. Called CS and was told that because it was successfully shipped there was nothing they could do but issue me a gift card. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied told me they would ship items still in stock but most of the order was backordered due to the 21 Days of Beauty Sale. Told CS that to replace items would mean I lose all the discounts and they said there is nothing they can due will not ship items when they come available again! They then told me to call my credit card company to dispute charges and then she HUNG UP ON ME! Well that's great customer service Ulta BRAVO!
I placed an order online because in the store they said their system was down. After placing my order, I NEVER received my packaged I called FIVE TIMES and the customer service stated that they cannot reprocess anything until and will call me back. The promise to call back was happen 2 time with NO call back. Finally, I demanded I get my items that I paid for it's been almost 4 weeks and nothing. To top it off I am going on vacation and don't have my items. NEVER AGIN WILL I EVER SHOP HERE. Don't waste your money. ONLY SHOP AT SEPHORA!
Answer: It's not that the prices are particularly higher than anywhere else, it's that the products they sell are very high end and nowhere except like Marshall's etc has any of those brands for less. So I'd say yes they're all worth the money. Some brands are better than others depending on personal preference but they also have a rewards program that's free :)
Answer: If you're asking about Ulta's brand, you can only buy it at Ulta. Other items can be purchased through other retailers. However, you have to really dig to find anything cheaper than Ulta. Especially during a sale and with a coupon.

Answer: Many companies have this policy. Probably because they allow returns at their stores very easily. I usually just place a new correct order, and return the incorrect order. Sometimes if you call customer service, depending on the mistake, they can fix it for you.
