Uline use very expensive carriers and then make it impossible to arrange a truck for pick up. I wanted to pick up an order and sent the Bill of Lading to the Uline Warehouse, but they did not accept it. I had to change my mind and use their expensive carrier (Averitt Express). Also, they always add tax to the bill for packaging material although our company is sales tax exempt.
I bought a work table with caster with breaks
Problem began when caster did not work I had thenm replaced they gave other casters with breaks which worked and they are not willing to make new caster for $2000 Table I have called and spoke to everyone very polite but not practical
Please stay away from this Corporation.
They are not Knowledgeable about their product

I have been trying to order glass mason jars from this company - in bulk for months. They refuse to sell to any customer that was not a customer previously?! How does that even work? Lol, they allow me to order all other products on their site except for glass jars - which is what I need for my small home based business in Calgary. I offered to pick up. I explained to them that as a single mom, this business is my livelihood and during COVID I cannot order or pick from the USA. Their logic makes NO SENSE at all. Shame on them for choosing who is allowed to purchase Mason Jars. This company does NOT support local small business.
If you're thinking of buying clear Cellophane Tape Tape from Uline watch your pockets. We were charged $45.00 per roll of 2" inch 3M 610 Tape S-******* and there I was thinking I was getting a case of the tape for that price. I thought it was such a great price that I ended up paying $90.00 dollars for 2 rolls of 72 yard tape. When I phoned Uline the representative told me it's because it is a 3M product. Buyer beware! I will certainly think twice before ordering from Uline in the future.
I have repeatedly ordered the same product 8oz plastic jars with lids. These are excellat products and worth every penny. The second time I never received the shipment, turns out the courier left it in my lobby and someone stole it. They credited me right away and shipped me out a replacement. Excellant customer service.
I ordered the first time 6 years ago and now I keep receiving their useless catalogue probably for a lifetime. To shoulder the cost, they have a markup of at least 100% on all shipping fees (probably even more). Pricing is already ridiculous in general, but shipping fees takes the biscuit!
The cheapest shipping for a bundle of cardboard bins was 66 CAD with Purolator. So I ordered from Globalindustrial.ca for 15% lower price and 23 CAD for 1-Day delivery with UPS.
They wouldnt give me a credit for my next purchase for two items that were damaged during shipping. So i had to eat $25 on two wine shippers that were already overpriced. USE UHAUL for shipping supplies, free shipping and cheaper prices, ULINE YOU SUCK

They didn't by any chance support small business in the pandemic, only was interested in getting invoices paid and after you pay they won't process your next other until all payments are made. You just lost one customer.
I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate Uline from A-Z. I ordered my new L-shaped, stand-up desk on Thursday around 4pm. It was delivered to my home on Friday at 11:00am the next day.
I already had my handyman scheduled to come put it together on Saturday. Few hours and it is complete!
There were no missing parts, no damage, exactly what I ordered. Life is GOOD!

I saw this lovely chair online, it was leather and the right color. Place the order and within 20 minutes, I received a call. The gentlemen on the other end stated my order can't be processed since the shipping address doesn't match the billing address. I order on Amazon and send people stuff across this country all the time so this literally made no sense to me. I informed him that I'm temporarily living in Atlanta but I reside in NY. Still wouldn't budge, no alternative suggestions were offered, I in fact asked if there was another way to verify that I am who I am. He says, you can add the shipping address to your card. I asked, will you see that change immediately, he said yes. I proceeded to update my address, to no avail he was unable to see the change. In 2020, there must be a plethora of ways to verify identify for e-commerce business. So clearly ULINE is lacking in this dept.
Out of complete frustration, I simply canceled my order. First time discovering this company and what a bad taste in my mouth you've left. No company will ever get my hard earned cash and treat me like a common criminal. #NO THANK YOU AND NEXT
Congrats ULINE, your star employee located Kenosha, WI just lost you a $300 dollar sale incl. Shipping, taxes. Businesses are revising their business model and demand for office furniture will decrease. Take note as this type of non-sense doesn't fly on the consumer level.
We bought a brand new Uline beverage refrigerator which arrived completely broken two years ago... about a $2,000 investment. They have been completely unresponsive and we are furious. The worst customer service ever. Don't ever get conned into purchasing their refrigerators.
I am a residential customer, having some new windows put in and want to put up tarps for dust control. I was going to order online but decided to call and see If there would be a ship Delay due to Covid. The pleasant rep told me I'd have the tarps in a day or 2, then offered to put the order through for me. I did and the order arrived next day. It was super service. Then from the confirmation email I was able to go to my account, and since I hadn't created a password yet, I clicked forgot password and it led me to the create password page. It was super easy, very intuitive, the website did exactly what you would think it should do. That hardly ever happens! I am very happy with my tarps, half the price of the local big box hardware stores. I want to remember this site!
I run a very small online shop managed by just 3 people and doing roughly 300-500 sales a year. I purchase all my boxes, bubble mailers, bubble wrap and sticky shipping labels from Uline and cannot believe how I've cut cost over purchasing these items from big box stores. For basic shipping supplies that I go through quickly I cannot beat Uline. I can purchase large cases that last me a couple months and not have to worry about a local store having it in stock when I need to send something as they frequently don't!
I would prefer to give them 0 stars if I could. We continually try to get them to STOP SENDING me their environmentally unfriendly catalog numerous times throughout the year. I received 3 just this month alone! How can a company survive by offering awful customer service, old school wasteful mentality and fail to adapt to today's online shopping models? Go away Uline, and take your waste of a catalogue with you.
I have been trying to get off Uline catalog list forever. When I call to do that, I am hung up on (I have called more than once). When I fax a request, the catalog still comes with a name variation. If I ever did need a supply they offer, there is no way I would order it from them. Their idea of marketing by continuously sending these enormous environmentally unfriendly catalogs had the exact opposite affect on me and evidently others as well if you read the reviews. Except for two posts most likely from employees of the company. Run! Go to a local office supply store. I can't save myself but I can save others!
I had a defective product and submitted a Return Request. Within minutes they replied stating they'd replace the product free of charge and it was delivered the next day. EXTREMELY great customer service. Will be a repeat customer for sure. Fast, fair and effective.
