I purchased this Prom Dress for my Daughter's School Prom in 2022. The measuring guide on the website is very helpful and the dress was true to size. From ordering to delivery was 4 weeks. Updates by email were great. Would highly recommend and I would use again.

It is a SCAM
The dresses come from China not from the UK and are awful quality
The wedding dress I ordered looks nothing like the photo. The material of it is awful quality. It was meant to be light and airy and it came big, chunky and heavy. I also gave my exact measurements to have it custom made and paid extra for it but it also came too big in my bust and way too long and I can't return it and they won't refund me for it. Don't order from them!

This business is a joke I ordered a dress for my daughter prom well it hasn't arrived I paid extra for the 3-5 day delivery the prom has now been and gone and we still don't have the dress trying to get a refund is ridiculous they don't want to give my money back my delivery details haven't even updated now its too late we have no need for the dress don't try and contact them either you get all different t robot type people who are on repeat.

Do not used this site and pay ridiculous amount of money for it to be here in a certain time and it isn't I'd stay well clear from this website I will never use it again after they have ripped me off.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I frankly wasted money on this company to receive a poorly made cheap looking dress. It didn't even come in time for me to be able to wear it to the event it was for. Upon trying to return the dress (which has never been worn) I've had no luck and they keep saying that their returns department will get back to me. AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! Don't waste your time with this sham of a company, £120 down the drain and nothing to show but shabby fabric and rubbish customer service!

Wrong colour wisteria ordered and sent dusty pink. Will not accept return and claim purple is now pink despite me sending the website pictures to show otherwise

I purposely didn't order a dress which was personalised to fit me incase the dress wasn't as I expected. When it came it was slightly different to the photos and the colour wasn't as shown in the image either. The top of the dress didn't fit me as the cups were too big, so obviously couldn't wear the dress and didn't like it. So I tried processing a return for the dress and explained why, and had to wait 4 days for a reply from someone, only to have them ask why I wanted to return it, giving me no help at all. I'm having to send multiple emails to get a reply, and the communication is very slow and is getting me no where. It's been 2 weeks of me trying to return this dress, and I'm worried I won't get my money back and have wasted £130 which is desperately needed as I'm a student. I wouldn't recommend buying from here.

Tip for consumers:
The dresses themselves aren’t bad quality, mine just wasn’t as expected and didn’t suit me. What has shocked me is the service and the fact that I’m not being told whether I can get my money back. Only buy from them if you KNOW you’ll be keeping it.

Do not buy from this company! I have ordered two dresses for my daughter in different colours. They have arrived and are not the colours I expected. I immediatley put them back in the packaging (no labels were removed) and initiatied the returns process. Only to be told they will not take them back. These are not personalised and I did not order any bespoke design - they were simply purchased in good faith from their website. I am now fighting for a return and refund. Please do not buy from them!

I'm still waiting for my refund. I've been told it was put back in my account over 1 year ago. Do not believe the good reviews. There is no one working for their customer service. I can't believe this company is still in business. The have ruined my daughters prom and many others. I will continue writing until I get back my refund.

I ordered a size 10 short prom dress for my daughter. When it came it was so big it was a size 12-14 and sooo long. It was calf length not short and above the knee as stated by the description. My daughter is 5ft 6ins so she's not short. I contacted them straight away and they refused to let me return the dress. Upon further investigation the dress came from China but the website said UK. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY

I have recently bought a prom dress from Milly UK. Do not be fooled. The stuff comes from China. They will scam you into spending £20 extra for a guaranteed delivery date which makes no difference. So, dress arrived in a plastic bag. The bag was torn. There's oil on the dress and they are refusing to communicate with me. £200 of hard earned cash just wasted. Please do not make the same mistake! Passing my case to Trading Standards

I ordered a wedding dress which arrived on time. I took it out and it was super large (which is fine - I can have that tailored). The minute I zipped it up (again, it was VERY large so there wasn't a struggle with the zipper) the zipper split in half. Clearly this was a defect. I emailed the number provided on fansfavsdress.com (where I purchased the dress) and they gave me a different email (*******@millybridal)and said to send pictures. I took the pictures and sent along. A couple of days later, I received an email with pictures of the same dress telling me that the dress was fine when it left the factory and to "please understand." Here's the exact quote that ended their email: "About the zip, we did check several times and it was in good condition. Could you mind to try to alter in the local please? As each dress is made to order, please understand.
Kind regards"

So in sum, I am out almost $200 with no recourse. Even damaged goods aren't accepted back.

I paid for speedy delivery and it was delivered to the wrong address. When I eventually received the dress, it was awful. I no longer required it as the formal event had passed well after the dress arrived. After 6 months of bargaining in total breach of their contract, they agreed to refund in full. I returned the dress and they are now refusing to answer. There is no contact number. The live chat is bogus. Total fraudsters. Read very similar customer experience. Out a pocket. Do not trust

Avoid this company like the plague, ordered a dress for a prom which should have arrived within 3 to 6 days - 3 weeks later and after the prom the most shockingly poor quality dress arrived. Company are refusing to give a refund.

Don’t use the site, poor quality dresses are shipped from China and certainly not in the timeframe stated on their website (3 to 6 days)

Dress arrived from China after one month. There was no material on the top half bar see-through lace. In photos, it looked like there was material up to the chest and then lace to the neck line. But it was completely see-through. Very cheap looking. They also won't allow you to return items, saying the dresses are depicted correctly in pictures. I wouldn't have ordered a dress with no material on top.

They won't allow you to return faulty items.

Well am still waiting for my money back from this disgusting company!
My daughter now is not going to her prom, because we can't afford to buy another dress!
Please be aware that this company is not UK based and they will not accept returns or GIVE you your MONEY back!

As to the custom made dresses, our tailors make dresses according to measurements without seeing you in person, and measurements are just numbers of one particular point on the body. It is hard to make the dress fits like a glove. It is known that there are at least 2-3 alterations for the store dresses. I have just checked e-mails and surprise, surprise - since my last review written on 7th July we received yet another 'ticket' on 13th July in response to my request for a refund.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU WILL NOT NEED TO RETURN THE DRESS - THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Don't use this site unless you are sure you will not need to return the item - they do not respond to requests for refunds/returns!

I ordered the Sheath/Column Scoop Neck Sequined Short Sleeve Backless Bridesmaid Dress in a standard size 8. The dress arrived later than stated and I had to chase them. When it arrived, the quality was poor and fits badly. Capped sleeves have no give so it is not possible to lift your arms and there was excess material at the lower back. They refused to offer a refund stating 'custom made' when previously noting it was 'standard sizing', ridiculous. They have no contact number for assistance so all communication is via email. Terrible customer service, just awful. Do not use this site. Avoid at all costs!

This is what I ordered vs. what they sent. It gets so much worse. Customer service number does not exist, return form not available, they don't return email, and live chat doesn't reply. I literally was robbed nearly $400. I wish I had not been so in love with this dress, I wouldn't take a million dollars to wear what I received in my wedding and I certainly wouldn't pay a penny for it. Absolute junk and a scam. Please don't wind up heartbroken like I did!

Received Daughters Prom Dress Monday, we were so disapointed the quality was awful, it was a lace dress and at the ends of the lace is white, which as you can imagine looks awful, the finish is terrible have now got to try and buy or hire a dress
Locally and wish we had done originaly but daughter loved the style of this dress.
Have emailed 4 tinmes and sent photos but still no reply. Not holding up much hope.

I ordered a prom dress for my daughter from millybridal. The dress never arrived. This website is fraudulent, please avoid it. The contact number does not work and the livechat cuts you off once you have ordered. They are based in China, not London. Complete scam. Avoid!

Ordered a prom dress for my daughter. The dress that arrived was the wrong colour, it fitted around the hips but miles to big around the bust. Based on their measurements it should of fitted. The material was cheap crap! So poorly made honestly the seams werent straight it was puckered in places. I emailed them straight away only to receive the rudest reply telling me they wouldnt be refunding me. I went through PAYPAL but they favour millybridal can you believe it!? I am utterly disgusted and gutted that I have lost £129. Hope this review helps many others to NOT make the same mistake.

The dress I ordered was pricey but was too big. Unfortunately this company won't take ANY return for no reason, unless they sent the wrong size. Who does that in this internet commerce world? I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company. Spend your money at a business who wants good customer satisfaction, not just your money.
