First of all, I want to clarify that Twitter is my favourite platform. But I would like to have some improvements to it. Twitter is one of the popular social media platforms, But there is a limit of 280 characters while posting a new tweet. Which is not a good thing, we can't express our whole idea while posting a new tweet. First, I would like this limit to be removed, The user should have a choice of posting a tweet with unlimited characters. If it is not possible, then the limit must be at least up to 1000 characters, so that any user can express his complete idea in a single tweet, instead of posting tweets again and again for the same idea.
I was banned for no reason on Twitter. I was banned because no one liked me and they allowed it. Twitter is a truly awful platform. It's too political and too toxic. People on twitter are abusive. Had a less than stellar experience with Twitter. Not recommended don't use Twitter.
Twitter has perhaps the single most toxic userbase of any mainstream social media platform out there. It is the internet's breeding ground for cancel culture, political correctness and censorship. Here you will see people supporting riots one moment and condemning them the next. They value people's feelings over people's lives and FREEDOM. Full of contradictions, avoid at all costs, and especially avoid buying any shares now that the POTUS has been banned from this $#*!-stained mattress of a site.
I would stay as far away from this website as possible. Not only is there nudity, profanity, personal attacks and just plain bad manners, but if you post anything they do not like they will ban you immediately. If you post anything conservative you will be banned. If you post the truth and they do not like it you will be banned even if it is the truth and verified to be the truth. The "fact checkers" only allow far left wing propaganda to be posted.
I love Twitter, but I have one complaint: the blocking system is CRAP. If it had a blocking feature like Facebook, and if only one account per IP address was allowed, I'd give it five stars. There are too many creeps out there who misuse the site and make it less enjoyable for the rest of us.
I love Twitter for several reasons
1. Social networking with others
2. Business networking with others
3. Information networking with others
4. Finding and connecting to new people
5. Ability to share day-to-day thoughts and ideas
6. Ability to gain a fan base of followers
7. Product marketing and advertising potential
8. Ability to stay in touch with friends, family and others
9. Ability to make new friends
Twitter is a great site for great interaction with others. No complaints here!
A great site for my part!
Have been trying to verify my phone number for weeks and the code never appears on my phone. Have sent them countless emails trying to get them to fix the issue only to have them fully suspend my account for no reason. This is an absolute joke of a company if this is how they act. They also played a part in influencing the US election back to globalist Biden and claim to have no control over people. They are jokes.
Twitter is famous for having a Hitler agenda. Both Twitter and Hitler's manifest:
One opinion….
One nation….
One political party….
One people.
This philosophy, in the past, led to the genocide of millions of Jewish citizens, and Twitter was, in the past, no better. Twitter promoted lies, denied factual truths, and accepted a left wing philosophy that, in the past, led to the torture and murder of 9 million people in Nazi Germany. The radical left of the despotic of the world.
Hard to login cuz they are always labeling you a hacker. Cannot use proxies, they want to ID you an profile you. Maybe ot worth the time bothering with this site. Guess they have no way of reliably telling who is legitimate user. Makes it very hard to use it. Sitejabber search mechanism does not work, cannot search for companies without the help of a search engine.
It's a platform you didn't think you needed and it comes to you and becomes essential not only to experience what you feel and share it, but to maintain communication with the people you get to know through it. It allows you to stay connected to things going on around you that you are not normally aware of because of distance or because it is not happening directly to you. And it is a form of entertainment in a way thanks to the creativity of its users.
Twitter suspended my account. No warning. After a week, they said I had multiple accounts ( I didn't) and I was using them to spread abuse ( I never abused anyone! Unless a post critical of Israeli snipers killing unarmed Palestinians is abuse.) So I did some digging and found that Twitter drops cookies ( like other websites do) that are able to track EVERYWHERE you go! So they can see your Email if you use multiple addy's... they can see your FB page to get your real name if you are using an anonymous name on Twitter. It isn't to be able to serve you appropriate ads! It is to surveil you and make sure you were never a previously banned user! They had banned my previous account a year or so ago because I told someone to $#*! off... but when I complained that someone had said the EXACT THING TO ME... I was told to consider the context! *******@Jack... $#*! YOU!
I have no words to say that this is the worst site on the entire internet, because there is no respect for individual opinions, it is the great cause of multiple misinformation and incidents, the worst of the worst
Tried to log on one morning and found my iPhone app couldn't bring up my account. Tried various methods to reconnect over a few days with Twitter's roboHelp and finally came to the realization that I had better things to do. I will miss some of the sharp/funny/insightful posts. I won't miss the noise. Good riddance! Goodbye.
My account has been hijacked. I have made 4 attempts to get Twitter to rectify this. Twitter has Ignored every attempt to contact them. They are the most useless heap of dog dungI have ever tried to deal with. Is this anything to do with the new owner?
Twitter has been useless and our company wasted a bunch of time and energy on it... Recently, the CEO has become intent on silencing voices of all kinds, peacful ones, even those calling for unity... and it has been used as a tool by its CEO for divisive political influence and pandering. As a result, it has become a hallow liberal echo chamber of people with nothing to do but complain or talk about what they had for lunch. Useless, moving to other platforms.
Twitter only allows people to post what they say you can write and post. They invade your privacy! We need to stand up against this kind of home grown terrorists! We have the RIGHT to privacy and speech! The people of America need to close there facebook accounts and Twitter accounts. We need to show them that Anerican people are not going to let them take are RIGHTS AWAY! You don't need these companies to live a great life. Look how bad life has gotten since they became! I am going to do everything I can to get them shut down and charges filed criminally!
Really shady company that shadow bans and manipulates. Has different rules depending on your politics. Refuses to verify and blue-checkmark certain people based on their politics. They need to focus more on transparency and objective ethical behavior.
I view Rwitter as being truly harmful as it fosters an environment that allows hate and cyberbullying in its truest form to flourish. Especially as younger generations are exposed to it I worry that they will learn to disregard other people's feelings and the harm words can cause.
Sometimes twitter is like a whole bunch of random junk from self-help/motivational books and crappy forwards. People don't even write about their mundane lives. All they do is retweet what other people say usually with links to articles or blogs or something. Not easy to find people and sometimes you get all these random followers from something you said. Like I said I didn't like my gym and said the gym's name and then I got all these followers from gyms and stuff like that.
If you want to waste your time go look at fluffy kitties or something.
I've been following Joel on Twitter for over a year as of writing this. Over that time I've seen his Twitter following grow by thousands of followers! Watching this amazing growth and following Joel's tweets I've realized he definitely knows Twitter inside and out. I'm glad he's finally released all his knowledge and tips into book format.
Just in the the first few chapters Twitter Power covers the basics and potential mistakes I see SO MANY people making with Twitter. It then goes on to cover many other helpful aspects such as how to use Twitter to build your brand, getting help, building a team, applications you can use with Twitter, and more.
Answer: This is a common theme running through Twitter and Instagram. They unjustifiably are blocking accounts deliberately in order to obtain your personal data for financial gain. If you have nothing in which they can make money from, your account is automatically blocked and you will be waiting until sundawn, they will not respond. If enough people leave their platforms there will not be profits for them to make and would crash and burn.
Answer: I would recommend Twitter for the reasons you listed.
Twitter has a rating of 2 stars from 423 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Twitter most frequently mention free speech, social media and phone number. Twitter ranks 488th among Social Network sites.
