I used this site 10 years ago when the people & business was run with some dignity and character.

Thought I'd get a jump start with my daughters. Well the quality of the instructor left much to question. You'd waste more minutes waiting than instruction.

I decided prior to my 30 hours of completion that this was not for us. I called to cancel and was told that they were sorry for me to leave and they'd cancel my subscription. I wrote the name of the guy (foreign to the USA) and took him at his word. Well, 9 months later I found some disputes on my bank statement and decided to take a quick look through my credit cards. I found they billed me for an additional month at $125.00, which was not the amount I was billed for the first month. I called and kept getting the run around. This business is out sourced and so is your credit card information.

My child loves TutorVista and has been using it off and on for years. I'm happy that the price of packages are affordable and my child is getting quality help. Most other tutor sites are pricey. With TVista, I like how sessions can be scheduled if you want them to be and it covers many subjects too. I hate how some sites charge a price for each subject, that's why I don't use other sites. With TVista the tutors give enough time and they don't rush you to hurry up and finish. They're helpful and patience. They even have tutors for college level. I like how the program even work on chromebooks. Not sure if it run on tablets but would be nice if it did. Some other sites required you to use a pricey computer to be able to connect. TVista's whole layout is neat and looks very professional. It even shows remaining time left. Lastly, they always try to offer coupon codes so you can be able to save some extra money. Even though the packages are already priced fair. They even offer a money back guarantee if your not satisfied.
Its so easy to use that my child don't need to ask me how to use the website. Oh boy! I wonder if my child has any tutor mins left, because I haven't logged on in awhile because it's so easy for my child to just use alone.

I tried out the free tutorial so that i could try this service out before buying. Joe was the admin and he said my session would last 5-8 minutes. The tutor took about 20 minutes to appear and he scribbled so fast, i couldn't read the handwriting, AT ALL. When he finished i asked him what it said and he kept saying look at the board, didn't explain a thing! He even gave me the completely wrong answer! I told them i have tutors.com, because i get it free through my school and they bashed their site completely. I made sure to tell them that tutors.com was much nicer, and clearly not a bad site. I just wanted to see what other sites were out there that would give me a deal because i am running out of time on their site. They were rude, gave me a wrong answer, pushy to buy when they didn't even show me pricing. I am concerned about this site, and i had to write a review.

First of all, let me point out the good things. The person talked to was kind, and provided me with info about the site, since it was my first experience on the site. However, he/she (can't remember) kept on talking about deals and all that stuff. For someone like me, I don't have money for each month/session. However, he/she asked me to save the link (which i did) and to call the toll free number. At first, they said that they would provide a free session, but I never got to it because I already solved the problem in the end. I would consider this site as helpful, but I'm not so sure.

I was looking to the sight for review of chemistry, and while on the page about chemical nomenclature, i spotted a mistake. I then tried to report this mistake to one of the "tutors" who blankly replied about buying time. After about half an hour of trying to report one mistake, i realized i was talking to a bot. So in short, if your looking for robots to give you false information, TutorVIsta is the place to go.

Wow! This site is very exemplary! The service was good, The workers had communicated well. I acted like a child who needed help with homework and gave them a random question which they had answered correctly. But for people realize that I had normal people. Some of the online tutors you may face may have had a rough day. If you do see one just leave the chat and report them!

I have a test week on statistics which is a nightmare for me. One of my friends referred Tutor vista to me. After the registration formalities, I joined with a tutor. Thank God! I am at the right place. The tutor was so caring and knowledgeable. He was very patient with me, cleared all my doubts. Couldn't believe! After my first session, I solved one whole problem my self!

I agree that tutorvista tutoring sessions are really helpful for homework assignments. The tutors are very friendly and the student can easily interact with the turors through chats. The way of one and one whiteboard teaching is very good and the student can then and there clarify the doubts through the chats displayed on the side of the window. Towards the end of each session, the tutors have a discussion with students by summarizing accomplishments.

I found this site from a search engine for Math Help and I was at a right place, because its one on one tutoring and tutors will solve all the questions I present in a easy and understanding way. Not only Maths, I was impressed with Chemistry subjects. One day I was stuck with an statistics problem so logged in to get help instantly I got a nice tutor also. Within few minutes I got my answer and now I understood how to solve the problem with my own. This site is as cool as the rating.
