Sometimes tutors give you incorrect answers to questions. Sometimes they just dont understand your question and you have to wait an hour to have a higher grade tutor to help you. The price are okay. The tutors sometimes are mean to you even if you didnt do anything. Some tutors are friendly though. I have been with this company for half of a year, and I learned a few concepts. Tutors also rush to end the session if you have not responded within two minutes. They also go too fast occasionally and when you ask a question, they never answer it directly. The tutors were very use helpful in helping to understand the problems. The only problem I had was sometimes It would take over an hour to solve one problem that can be solved in 25-35mins.

I absolutely love Tutor Vista! I am a college student and I use this site to help me understand concepts and to get help with my homework. Sometimes it's difficult to ask questions in class but with tutor vista I'm not afraid to ask questions and get the help I need. The tutors on this site are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. They make sure that you understand every step before moving on to another problem. Tutotrvista helped me 100% with completing all of my homework assignments (chem and physics). As for understanding concepts and content it varied on the tutors I received. Everyone is different and from my experience few tutors were really able to help me connect with my coursework and the general understanding of how and why. Fortunately, you can assign favorite tutors and make an appointment to work with only them for 1+ hours during times that are most convenient for you. Personally, I work best with a physical person one-on-one so I relied on these services for hw problems mostly. For the price, 24 hour access, convenience, and tutor accuracy (A+) I say its totally worth the cost, time and effort! (egy388)

I was taking advanced calculus (cal 2) this last semester, I wasn't too impressed with the tutors that they had available. There were only two that I liked and one that I always scheduled but if that fell through somehow, I would use the other tutor. If you get tutoring hours from this website and you need help in cal II I would highly recommend that you schedule your sessions with Suman Gupta, he is so intelligent and knows everything, I swear! He has helped me tremendously this semester!

I first started using tutor vista a couple of years ago when I was struggling with college precal. All semester I was in the 60s range and couldn't seem to get past that bump. In the middle of the semester I signed up for tutoring and used it until the end. I ended up with a B. The service here is amazing. The tutors break it down for you step by step and that was exactly what I needed to help me understand. I really do recommend tutor vista you won't regret it! :) lau776

They did help me with my problem, but when I was done they just tried to sell me tutoring packages. Even though I repeatedly told them I only needed help with that one problem. I tried to be nice and turn them down, but they kept asking me about packages. They kept saying that I would get my money's worth and that it would help my grades. But, I told them I already have good grades, and they kept asking. They did not stop until I had to be completely straight forward and say I wanted nothing to do with it.
