Well, one of my preferred tutors in tutorvista pointed me to this site and asked my honest opinion. So here I am. (personally I have lot of respect for this tutor)

Firstly, its prices are very very appealing. I mean 30 hrs tutors for 100$ you get nowhere trust me. Tutors are really cool. They sometimes make errors but correct it nonetheless and are quite patient with you.

The interactivity with them is easy using whiteboard tools they provide. You can try many different tutors and mark the ones you like as preferred (in which case your request will be prioritized to them)

The only drawback I found was lack of video sessions, but they say this is to respect user's privacy which is fair enough. I would have really liked if they had video sessions as well.

**NOTE**
There IS 24/7 tutor assistance, but no matter the plan you pick, you will not be able to exactly "get" 24/7 tutor assistance.

I just recently went on there. They do have quality help. However, they push for you to buy it following the trial session. Using the technique of "Please wait... Let me go talk to my manager," it can make it seem like they are doing something special for you. Maybe they really did, maybe not.
Costs are high. They don't tell you until the end. A positive tho is that the time spent with a tutor, if it isn't completely used, is saved. Your amount of time you paid for doesn't vanish after 1 session. Good Move There...

Costs:
2 Hours: $39.99
5 Hours: $59.99
30 Hours: $129.99. <--- With this they try to make a sale, saying they have a "In chat only discount" of $94.99. Then they will "Talk to the manager" if price is an issue, and give you a bargain of $84.99. I would rather go through the inconvenience of staying after school for help then to pay that kind of money. Nonetheless, it was quality help.
If you're up to your eyeballs in cash, go for it, try it out, write a quality review. If not, don't do it. Too much $ for too little time, and plus a lot of people had credit card issues (I read some of the other reviews) where there were no refunds... period.

My daughter needed help in Algebra 2, and she showed me this website. Things started slow, with a free tutorial session for one problem. The answer was abbreviated, but we took our chances and signed.up for the one month session. (ask for the discount code for $25 off). We were pleasantly surprised by the real live tutor who joined the new session. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and gave encouragement with happy faces next to the correct problems. Definitely try this program... your child and you will be very happy.

They are the WORST.

It was worse yesterday Cuz they didn't even tutor me, they just told me all the answers and what's worst is I got them all wrong.

Tutor: Good bye... Wtf! I had a very short time period. But instead of telling me if I got it right or not, this person constantly tried to explain how to get it right! I pay for my time and he's wasting all of it. Don't get this. It made my grades go from an A- to a C+. I was a straight a student till I started this. Now I am all A's and 1 C. -_-

This site is as cool as the rating. I found this site from a search engine for Chemistry Help and I was at a right place. Cool because its one on one tutoring and tutors will solve all the questions I present in a easy and understanding way. Not only Chemistry, I was impressed with math subjects also, the other day I was stuck with an calculus problem so logged in to get help instantly I got a tutor. Guess what within few minutes I got my answer and now I understood how to solve the problem with my own.

Hey all I'm Marsh, my son forced me to get an account with this website, to be frank while registering I thought it would be waste of money, but my son never gave up and he some how convinced me to register, singed up with the small package to know how things would work, Guess what It amazed me at the very first session. Obliviously first session was a Math Subject and the tutor gave very easy methods to solve the problem with step by step explanation. At that moment I was sure, this is what I was looking for and its a exact place to tutor my kid. Now his grades are improving and that makes me a confident and proud dad, its all because of Tutor Vista and only Tutor Vista. Thank you guys, Kudos :)

I'm a first year College student having trouble with differential equations. I came across this website called tutorvista while I was looking up a problem on google. I had no idea of the option of taking tutions online. This was my first experience and I must say they left me much impressed. I've taken 3 classes so far. They have some pretty amazing features like preferred tutor using which I can connect to the same tutor every time. The tutors I got were all holders of MSc in Mathematics. Now I'm confident that I can clear my differential equations classes

I'm doing a course in advanced calculus for my college credit. I had tough time doing my assignments first. I tried private tutions for a couple of hours. While I was able to get my questions answered it was too expensive for me. I almost paid $100 an hour. Then my friend suggested this site. I've used them for about 5 hours now. I felt the class was lil slow compared to my private tutor. But I got the tutor to answer my questions without having to go through the explaination. It also cost me just $70 for 5 hours. So it was worth it. I got an A in my assignment.

I would definitely say never ever ever ever, purchase this product. IT IS A SCAM. I was told that this service was 'unlimited' but no when u start they say due to this policy and that policy it is all wrong and you only get 10 hours? WHAT THE HELL right.
And then when tutors arrive u must wait 10-15 minutes for them to respond and then they copy paste off the internet. You wait 4-5 minutes per response but if u dont answer them in 10 seconds they disconnect saying you are not there. They are also talking to more than one tutor at once.

When I went to maths tutoring for college level, i am doing basic maths course for my uni, they proceeded to tell me that it was "simple" and I must be "simple" for not getting it.

Their customer service is extremely rude, dont bother booking a session they will never arrive! And when u ask to connect to a tutor they say maybe tomorrow or the next day at 2 am in the morning.

Oh and they say 24/7 no they mean from 2 am in the morning in the world to 12pm great for timing, I have to wake up real early and then they close? Not 24/7 in my terms?

Oh and then don't ask for a refund, as they will say due to this policy and that policy they cannot give one if u use 2 hours of their service. 2 HOURS. No trial runs, just disapointment. Oh and the threats are great, they will continually threaten you if you ask.

If you are thinking about this service dont. Please email me if you want more information on what they have done to me. It is a whole 2 pages worth of complaints and pain. They will use all of your time, and they will not help you, they will make it harder to learn. Tutor eonline is better I suggest them as that is where I have moved.

Stumbled on the site through google. Live chat popped up offering me "free tutoring session" just type my question. I was first asked grade and entered grad school. I was then asked to speak to my parents to tell about the service. Oh okay was the response. Entered my question... ten minutes later no response. Finally coordinator responded...
