When the shipment was picked up, I was expecting "White Glove" service- which I paid for. They came to pack the grandfather clock and another small clock. The small clock was already in a box, so they just shoved in a moving blanket and stuck on two pieces of tape. The GF clock was wrapped in a moving blanket and taped into a wardrobe box. The top to the clock was also wrapped in a moving blanket and boxed. I don't know what White Glove means, but this is not how I perceived it from your website. When it arrived, there were multiple issues with the delivery window. I was unable to get communication for several days with the driver. In all everything arrived in one piece and within the promised time frame, so I rated a 3 not a 1.

This has been the worst customer service I have ever seen. This was not white glove service what so ever. To start off, one of the movers was a college student with no moving experience at all, and he was very unprofessional. He tried to pick a heavy armoire up by himself and dropped in in front of my parents, which ended up scratching the wall in one of the bedrooms in my parent's house. My father had to ask that he not try to carry the furniture by himself. Then, they tried to shove my parent's $7,000 leather couch through the doorway sideways, and my mother had to kindly ask them to not shove it through the doorway and scratch it, they finally figured out they had to tip it on its side. Then they loaded the mattress and box spring onto the truck even though that wasn't on the list. When my mother asked that they remove it and put it back (as we did not pay for that item to be delivered), the person responded that he already loaded it on the truck and if they didn't want it, he would just keep it himself for his new apartment and drop it off on the way. The next disaster was the treadmill. They had no idea how to take it apart and when they were trying to do so, one of the movers dropped the top piece where all of the wiring is and chipped a big part of it off (so now our treadmill is un-sturdy and moves from side to side when you are on it, we will have to get it fixed). My mother asked him to plug it back in to ensure it still worked. They also showed up in a penske truck, and told my parents their delivery truck had broken down on the way. Though I understand things happen, this did not spark a lot of confidence in the company. I am not one to complain, but we paid a lot of money for this service, and it was definitely not the service we discussed when we originally spoke on the phone and agreed to the amount. To top it off, you delivered our furniture and tried to give us someone else's dresser that was all scratched up and damaged. When we told you that wasn't ours, you said ours was missing. It has been over 30 days since our delivery and you still can't find our dresser. We have hardly received any updates, and we now have to file a claim. How did our dresser disappear? When I called to discuss getting our money back since we paid $3100 for this service, you told us we could get $200 for the scratched wall. That is it? This was not the service we agreed to pay for, and we still have not received a very expensive piece of furniture! I have honestly never seen such a joke of a company in my life. I read all of your reviews, and they are horrible, I should have never chose your company. This has been the biggest scam ever. We will probably never see our furniture again, and I can only imagine what the "claims" process is going to be like. I would never recommend or use this company. I have never dealt which such horrific customer service in my life. Steve, our agent hasn't even emailed me back in almost 3 weeks. I can't believe we wasted so much money with this company. We will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau, and writing as many reviews as possible online so no one else makes the same mistake we made with this disaster of a company.
Your website sucks. It promised an instant quote...and quite clearly it does not provide this. SO, it really sucks to be a company so desperate for business that misleading website advertising makes your company a greedy bunch of liars by promising one thing and not delivering. What an absolute waste of my time.

The drivers were wonderful! Communication with them was easy and they even carried the bed into the house for us. Communication overall was pretty good, although I would suggest having a tracking function on the website so customers can track purposes, especially since there is no way to reach anyone during the weekends. I would definitely recommend using Transit Systems!

I would have gone directly through a shipping company rather than using Transit Systems Inc. as an expensive middleman. Customer support is there to "make you feel good" rather than getting things fixed/changed. This made us feel powerless as a customer. We had called a week before, four days in a row and no action was taken for at least a week. By that time it was too late to make the change happen. Nobody cared at TSI, and could do anything about it after the fact - maybe that's why they were delaying, to wait until they could claim ignorance. The customer support agents were nice, but who cares if they can't actually do anything about the situation.
Further, we felt completely duped when our initial estimate was way under the actual shipment price. How can you expect people to understand how much their stuff weighs? Both my wife and I felt taken advantage of and stuck with the service after we found out it would cost thousands more than expected. By the way, we were never told that our things would be stored at all. In the meantime we were sleeping on a hardwood floor for a week unnecessarily. This would/will frustrate the kindest of you readers if you use TSI.
We will never be using this company again and we will recommend to others that they avoid it. If the above sounds like angry ramblings it's because that is what this company will reduce you to after dealing with them.

Steve was the true meaning of awesome. So patient, so helpful, so calm, as I was so stressed out.
He helped me tremendously. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone I know who has shipping needs but will tell them to only speak with Steve. If I was local I would thank him in person. It's nice to know that your company has such competent and friendly personnel who really care about your needs. Thank you

Answer: From what I can tell, a scam. They charged me $2000; confirmed a pickup date, and didnt show up. Since then they've been dodging calls and emails.
