BUYER BEWARE
January 19, 2020

I am an avid online shopper and I recently made a purchase from this website and it was the WORST experience ever. If you haven't read their return policy please do before placing an order! Not only do they not offer free returns, but if you want to return an item you have to pay out of pocket - and then they also charge you back the initial shipping fee! I purchased 2 chairs, and it costs more to ship them back than what I paid! It's insane. Not only does this all feel like a scam but Their customer service is TERRIBLE. Also, from what I can tell they are marking up their product prices because I found the same chairs for $120 cheaper on multiple sites. Save your money and time and buy from somewhere else!

Do not shop here. Customer support is atrocious.

I placed a back order for for an item that was out of stock. I was told by truth in craft that I would receive notice when the item was back in stock and the order would be processed. I reached out a few days later and decided to cancel the order. Their logistics team advised me that they could not honor their cancellation policy as the item had already shipped. Upon reviewing the timeline and documentation provided my cancellation request came in prior to the item being picked and shipped which would entitle me to a full refund per the policy posted on the truth in craft website. They refused to cancel the order, refused to work with their carrier to solve the problem, and proceeded to ship the product despite me cancelling the order. The truth in craft customer and claims teams have been terribly abrasive throughout this process. I've now filed a dispute with my credit card as I should have never been charged.

Can I give zero?
August 1, 2019

They will sell you the product, run the payment and then send you the email that they really don't have the product in stock. That's not the way to do business. They will ask if you want to wait until certain time or if you want purchase alternative. No, thank you. Cancel the order and stop the card payment for your own sake. Don't waste your time calling customer service you will only get voicemail

I placed an order for a bedding set i got the email after hours that it wasn't stock so i had to wait all weekend to call and cancel it even through they had already pulled the money for it. I called to cancel it and it takes forever to talk to anyone and when i finally do even with all the information order number and card number they can't do it i have to send an email and maybe someone might ge back to me. I asked to speak with a manager and rudely told she is. Takes a half a day to talk to someone and magically its a manager highly doubt it. This place in my opinion is a scam. I should have went with my first instinct and not ordered from this site. Lesson learned.

I ordered a metal and wood bench from them and it took almost a month to receive the item. Upon receiving it I noticed the wood on the bench was a completely different color than the photo on the website. I emailed them about this discrepancy wanting to purchase a different item or exchange it. They were happy to return the item but would not address my concerns that the item was not as pictured. I had to pay the shipping costs to and from my address, so there is NO free shipping. The policy is on the website, to be fair, but I don't feel like it's good business to enforce this when items are returned because they are misrepresented by the company.

I ordered an item that was in stock. They wrote me the next day and said it would be in in 2-3 weeks. No big deal, I was ok with that. 2 weeks later, they tell me its going to be another month, making it two months past the date I purchased. When I replied with my frustration, they were completely rude and unapologetic, very snide. Never got my item, currently waiting on a refund.

I purchased what I thought was a desk, based on the picture and title. When it arrived it was an end table. I called customer care and got an answering machine. Email them and they say to return it I will lose $40 for shipping. Spend two weeks arguing over the bait and switch only to be told now I am stuck with the product because its outside return policy. Open the box and the product was broken on top of it all! Truth in Craft is a horrible name because all they do is lie and cheat!

Placed an order a week ago and paid $199 extra for delivery/set-up of one of the larger items. Got a call today that they wanted an extra $199 for the 2nd item (that is a small table easily shippable flat rate fee no set-up). It was not mentioned in the order process that this extra fee is required as it gives the option for free shipping (false advertising).

They already called 2 times regarding delivery... read the fine print... only 2 second floor and x number of steps included for $199. I can live with this, but today they called asking for more money. I just cancelled the entire thing.

Now in order to get a refund for my entire purchase of $1,681, I had to send an email in writing. Hope they can process a refund better than they ship. So disappointed as they have cute stuff, but horrible experience and I didn't even get anything but a headache.
