I've used Truthfinder several times, and my last time was unfortunate. I thought I could do a background check on a potential employee because I neglected to read the entire terms of service. I was banned after calling a different representative with the intent of finding a long lost family member, and heeding the words of the first representative who informed me that I could not use their service for that purpose. My initial conversation was notated, and Truthfinder assumed I was side stepping and doing it anyway. Well... I was actually refunded all of my money from past to current usages. You might think I'd be angry, but I made a mistake, and I commend Truthfinder for their security and insuring people are protected and laws are observed. I had no intentions to defy the representative or the rules, but I don't blame them for erring on the side of safety and enforcing the terms of service. I apologize Truthfinder, but you are an excellent company with very respectable protocol and policies. I will still recommend that folks choose you over the rest of they need your type of service. I feel embarrassed yet extremely impressed.

The information found on Truth Finder is available at no charge just by doing Google searches. Search your self & save the cost of their subscription fee.

I was happy with the service and the information I found was good for the most part. Some, I already knew or found before for free but that was ok. I did find a few things that I did not find elsewhere... what I would have liked to see more of is a deeper dive into criminal stuff.
It was a decent value for the 28.00 / month.

I subscribed with the sole purpose to look up info on one person. I used the service, received a report then called customer service to cancel. They were very friendly and even informed me that even though I was cancelling, I still had access to their services for the remainder of the 30 days. They also answered all questions I had regarding the report I received and were able to clarify a few things.

I thought I would be able to access certain records through this site. Come to find out, the records were not available on this site so I called and they gladly refunded my money and cancelled my membership immediately. No hassle!

I have been a private investigator for 25 years. I have found truth finders to be every organized and info presented in easy to understand form.

The process is pretty convoluted to just get to your results and there's a lot of unnecessary dramatic stuff along the way like "What you find may shock you!". I really just used this site out of curiosity and it did seem pretty thorough to me, but looking into records is not something I do regularly whatsoever so I don't really have anything to compare Truth Finder to.

After I paid and got what I was looking for on the site, I had to call a 1-800 number to cancel my membership which wasn't ideal that there isn't an online membership cancellation option, but the person I was connected to was friendly and helpful and I was able to have my membership cancelled without issue.

I don't think I'd recommend this site for the cost. I paid about $15 for 1 months access which was a 50% discounted price, I definitely would not have paid the full price but they got me when I received an email saying I could access reports for half the price.

CS Rep Ruthy did a great job which she made me love and enjoy what I do everyday, I can hear it her tone and she was on point before if I could ask and if I ever need Truthfinder services again I would most likely recommend it.

This was a helpful report in confirming some information I had and helping me find additional information needed to pursue a personal matter. I'm very grateful for services like this that make it easy to find information. Not all records were up to date but I do not believe this any reflection of truth finder or their services. It would be nice, however, if the sign up options included a one time report without a monthly subscription tied to it so you don't have to remember to go cancel if you don't want it moving forward.

Navigating the site is not hard, and it is thorough. I found out all I wanted to know about an individual, a co-worker from many years ago. The charge for doing this is reasonable, and when you join, you can access information and pay a monthly fee on a continued membership. This is great if you want to know more and more about different people.

I had a billing issue and called customer service. I despise having to call customer service due to the incompetence and rude behavior. I was proven wrong on this call. A young man named Sedric was very helpful, polite and kind. I could tell he really cared about helping others. His kind and caring words and intrest to fix the issue spoke to me that his parents did a great job. He did share with me that he was new on the job and I was more than happy to practice my patience. Thank you sedric, your kind words and great customer service was very appreciated.

I have used this site more than others because it has given me more indepth information than others. Since it was recently explained to me by "Susan" who I recently had a very thorough conversation with that the posted information will vary over time, IFF ones circumstances has. She went extra MILES to make sure I understood my intended use is to make sure the personal information given to me is accurate and up-to-date. I found, however, they can be behind on reporting someone's demise and that, at times, is important. While no site is perfect if there is something in particular I am interested in and it is not noted in Truthfinder I will seek out another search engine with the hope it may be shown in that one. Whenever, I had a problem, it was always rectified with a quick and responsible response. Thank you Susan for going the extra miles!

Before taking the plunge to join Truthfinder I decided to do a search of myself. Now who else knows me better than myself. Punched in my search info as requested (name, place or residence, age, etc.) According to Truthfinder, I DON'T EXIST!

I am giving 5 Starz because they were presented a professional attitude over the phone. I wish them good luck and all the blessings in their future endeavors as a business.
