TrustPilot allowed a company to defame me publicly on their site! I was labeled a terrorist and a stupid bpd c-word for leaving a negative review.
Oh the sweet irony. How criminal it is. Only scams like Kin insurance, seminar scams, fraudulent operations and like SPAM trust pilot daily by themselves in a one bedroom apartment, and then put the trust pilot logo (saying 1000 positive review on trust pilot), to then scam the public.
Trust pilot who care not about trust or about piloting, is using their platform to steer suckers into scams.
How evil they are
I've been posting reviews on Trustpilot for a while. However, they've recently begun questioning some of my negative reviews. Having to go through multiple emails questioning my integrity.
This has now left me wondering about Trustpilot in general, and as a result, I simply no longer trust them or their independence and will look for another platform.
I posted two negative reviews about two companies in which I was treated unfairly. Trustpilot then removed my review because they flagged it inappropriate? Just by reading the reviews on this website, it's very clear that trustpilot accepts bribes from companies to wipe out the negative reviews and keep the positive reviews. I don't trust trustpilot.com. And I will warn others.
Extremely bad experience.
A computer makes their decisions.
They earned my disrespect by their replies, which NEVER dealt with any of the issues.
Save yourself time and energy.
They are NOT to be trusted!
Trustpilot's sole reason for existence is to allow it's core base of unethical company subscribers avoid negative feedback and thus promote themselves as reputable. The reviews on Trustpilot are worthless as a consequence
Yes, I've been writing reviews and using trust pilot for years, never had any issues. Out of the blue I am suspended my account for unknown reason. Access speak to a supervisor they will not do that either.
So here's your one star review for me
Avoid this review platform at all cost. Overpriced and unreliable. They allow false customer reviews to be posted without taking any action or providing any evidence that the customer placed an order from your business.
Nothing rings true on this site. You find multiple identical long reviews with just a few words substituted between numerous 1st time reviewers giving inflated ratings to companies that have clearly paid to advertise. I cannot trust anything on them and find them clogging searches for real information.
I recently attempted to leave a review over an apparel company that sent me defective product and the site kept giving me 'sorry but we are unable to post at this time. Try again later' Regardless how many times I refreshed the screen. And I've never had any problems posting reviews. The Bot session is useless. No one responds. TrustPilot has jumped the shark and now sucks.
Do not trust a word you read on trustpilot. They have lost their way. I've had many people call me from their company to "pay to make the bad reviews go away." and if we didn't pay, magically all of these negative reviews appeared over night.
Freezing the reviews of gofundme when wveryone changes their opinion of it to one star because they side with the government against a a peaceful protest. While simultaneously allowing donations for protests that actually cause riots and damage is dishonest. I cannot trust any review on this site knowing for a fact they are doctoring them as they see fit
I posted a review about a well know energy supplier, which was based on my actual experience. It made no reference to any individuals, promotion, or exaggerations. It had actually been acknowledged on Trustpilot by the company that they made an error!
Yet, last month Trustpilot suppressed my review claiming it had "been flagged and removed by our automated software for having promotional references or suspicious review patterns." I contacted them to dispute this and they ignored my multiple email.
It very much appears to me that Trustpilot work with businesses (that can afford it) to improve there rating, via various methods, including suppressing negative reviews, all to the detriment of consumers.
Allows scammers to use bots to spam good reviews on their products, trustpilot of course does not do anything, and if you leave a negative review it will get deleted for no reason, even if you have all the proof.
I got scammed by a company today (Discover Cars) that has 46,000 reviews. 91% of them excellent. They are just cranking out reviews. The screen just continues to roll down new reviews all day long. A relatively unknown third party rental car broker. They prominently show their deceiving Trustpilot score on their website.
I was constantly harassed for information to validate my bad review of a company. Such as Web browser history to prove I'd visited their website when I claimed to have done. Eventually they just pulled it. Foul play.
My rating for Trustpilot? ZERO STARS. Why bother asking for reviews when they are constantly cancelled. I have left numerous reviews of deliveries recently, at their invitation and as my experiences were positive I thought it only fair that the companies involves should know that their staff were doing an excellent job, were they not I would contact the company directly as a poor experience does not need to be published for all and sundry to read. So it appears positive reviews are not valued and in future I will not be wasting my time with them!
In relation to this sites requirements, just how exactly do you get a photograph of a delivery or verified purchase without giving personal details?
I recently wrote a review using my 1st Amendment right to free speech about a complaint with a survey company called Crowdtap. Well I received an email claiming that my complaint isn't legitimate and real enough according to the business Crowdtap and they're requesting proof of missing points for reinstatement which I don't have because how am I supposed to have any proof while it happened during when I was taking and answering questions? I literally saw those points go poof and just got lowered. So my complaint gets flagged and put on a temporary removal. I didn't violate anything and Trustpilot is a joke! I told them instead of flagging me why don't they just go take a look at all of the complaints against them!
When you can pay to remove bad reviews, usually means scammers. Dont rely on this site to help make decisions, there ratings are wrong, who knows how many reviews here are fake. Like the human soul endless, bottomless
Trustpilot has plenty of fake reviews, one sentence or nothing at all, just 5 stars, but they remove any negative review if the company requests it. How crazy is that? Review sites exist for the sole purpose of letting anyone (courteously) express their opinion so other buyers can read it, think about it and make up their minds! I left a review of Luisaviaroma. All the information I used were easily verifiable by anyone. It's enough to take a look at Luisaviaroma's website. But it got removed because Luisaviaroma didn't like it. Wow! Now I look at Trustpilot in a different light, and honestly I don't trust a single review there anymore.
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
Trustpilot has a rating of 1.2 stars from 1,105 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Trustpilot most frequently mention customer service, bad experience and integrity team. Trustpilot ranks 128th among Internet Safety sites.
