Fake company, offered us a subscription to change our company ratings on their website. Basically, they will good ratings for your company if you pay them a hefty amount.
Trust Pilot is nothing more that a information harvester--I placed my first review and it was removed the next day"suspicious" they say--than they requested I reply to the removal email for verification---which I did--then comes the 2nd email requesting I attach my purchase information for the company that I reviewed--for the privilege of leaving a valid review on their site-unprecedented in my experience---what utter ridiculous BS
I wrote a review on Total AV that they charged my credit card even after I cancelled it. I submitted proof of a email that said I did cancel Trust Pilot said this was not sufficient proof. If you are thinking about using Trust Pilot DON't They are a JOKE
Trust Pilot shut down the ability to leave reviews for GoFundMe because of all the bad reviews for the site that were coming in. Just another business attempting to suppress free speech.
I wrote a review for a scam company that is under investigation by the BB and the FBI operating as a re-shipper for stolen merchandise bought on stolen credit cards.
Company called Winroze.
Trust pilot got a complaint from the company (of course) and asked me for documentation as a customer of the company.
I never received any documentation because the company is a scam and takes your money.
If they spent 5 minutes and checked out the company they would clearly see red flags like fake reviews, fake address (address is an apartment complex, but claims to be a shipping warehouse of 300,000 sq feet)
There is NO TRUST IN TRUST PILOT!
What kind of a review platform is this when all it does is taking down negative reviews and leaving only positive ones?! The one, which can be bribed! It's not independent as it claims to be. Trustpilot or should I say Liepilot is a corrupted clown, which is kissing bottoms of bad sites and companies, which has shady business practice. If you wish to warn people in your review that there's a site or company out there, which has a shady business practice so that more people wouldn't make the same mistake you did then forget about trustpilot, because this so called independent review platform only cares about money. Your freedom of speech is respected only if you have a big wallet, other than that they will censor you. They claim they there for customers, to help them make best decisions and other stuff, but it's a lie. They are there to protect companies, which has a shady business practice. But what else can be expected from this review platform which also has a shady business practice?!
Wrote a negative review for GoDaddy. GoDaddy was okay like 10 or so years ago, these days everyone knows they are abysmal. I had 1 service left for them and they managed to screw it up in a very bad way even by their own standards. Completely ridiculous.
Wrote a neg, the review never shows up in the 1-star review feed for anonymous users. Yet, I can see my review if I navigate to a long random URL directly. It say that adding photo id will improve my status, but it never says anywhere on the page that it's required for my review to become visible.
Amazingly enough, GoDaddy sees my review and replies to it. No essence to their reply whatsoever, just a stub with a "we need more details message". Which is by itself a slap in the face as I've provided a very detailed review. With that I get a note that say that my review will be taken down if I don't provide additional details (but I already provided all the details in the review itself).
With all that, GoDaddy, who is generally thought of as the bottom among all small internet business owners I know and I talk to, has a 4.5 out 5 stars score with them.
Their business model is simple -- the businesses pay them, not the customers, so they bend the rules for businesses.
$#*! this dishonest and hypocritical service.
Trustpilot hosts fake reviews in order to rope companies in to paying them to "clear up their reputation." Don't be fooled by all of their so-called self-inflated ratings.
You would think a company that does reviews for a living would know how to treat clients and make sure they have good business practices. But man these guys just play a dirty game to get people to pay for the services they offer. They said they will send me a cease and desist letter if I don't remove the reviews MY CUSTOMERS left me on my OWN website lmao. Said I have to pay $2,000 in order to use reviews MY CUSTOMERS left me. What a complete joke.
Asked me to provide sensitive data because I wrote negative review of coutts bank. Trustpilot requests provide personal data information or we take down review protecting underperforming banks
What an oxymoron for their name. They work for businesses and not for consumers. Critical reviews with evidence and back up get taken down. Don't trust any reviews on their website
Here are the reasons why Sitejabber is better than Trustpilot. I wrote a review on Trustpilot, and it got removed as they couldn't authenticate my verify my experience and want me to send them proof. I sent the email trend to them and got no reply. So I followed up with an email a few days later. No reply from Trustpilot.
I signed up with Sitejabber, I sent them an inquiry, and they replied within a day and answered my query.
In summary, Trustpilot removed my review despite receiving proof of my experience. They don't bother to answer emails, whereas Sitejabber has replied promptly.
I wrote a positive review on Sitejabber, but Trustpilot removed it straight away. It is blatantly obvious that Trustpilot wants to sabotage its competition's reputation and creditablity.
It makes me wonder how many negative reviews are true since some negative reviews don't make sense.
A trustworthy company will conduct itself professionally and operate its business with integrity. They will learn from their mistakes and do better. That is NOT Trustpilot!
Trustpilot sells its review services and therefore picks and chooses which to keep. Even when they are informed they are wrong and are sent proof, they STILL choose to not do the right thing.
Reviewed lots of companies via Trustpilot over the years until today.Got 13 emails from Trustpilot stating 13 reviews have been removed. Some of them over a year old.Pathetic
Tried to put in a genuine bad review for Swann cameras, Trustpilot blocked it. Tried again with a good review, surprise, surprise went straight on, no problem.
I did multiple reviews only some made it live. Most good reviews were published while more of the bad reviews experienced from different sites were never published.
They have removed multiple genuine reviews I have left for companies that engage in illegal practices and that in face offer services to sell fake Trustpilot reviews.
They are a scam, basically what they do is blackmail companies with paid services in order to manage reviews. They do business with people's reviews and these sheep only do their dirty work.
If you leave a bad review about a company on their site be wary, the company can dox you. Trustpilot will take months to even get back to you before saying that there was no breach of their policy.
I reviewed a horrible meal I got from red lobster and they removed it. I've absolutely NO reason to lie. If I could I'd sue trustpilot for defamation of character. I do NOT lie and they SUCK!
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
Trustpilot has a rating of 1.2 stars from 1,104 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases.
