We were comparing Trustpilot to other similar platforms. During the assessment period, they were supportive. Eventually, we decided to go with another platform. At which point we started noticing negative reviews are being posted on the trial Trustpilot account they made for us. I am not saying all of our customers are happy it is natural to get negative reviews here and there because unhappy customers are usually more vocal. But the negative reviews about us on Trustpilot are unusual. Once we told them to deactivate the test account they responded by saying that it is a live page now. It has been a very bad experience and if this is a tactic for them to make us work for them it won't work.
So disappointed.
Unless you use your gmail or facebook account to register, you won't be able to register.
I tried using my Yahoo email and it didn't register it or accept it. Not sure if this is a bug with their website or just being discriminating Yahoos emails
I tried to post negative review on Millionaire match co with Trustpilot & they immidiately removed it. They Asked for more verification- I sent, after that some more & I sent. It's been a month, countless emails, sent all the proof - they never responded nor reposted my review. I tried to post new review on MM. Trustpilot removed it again. For curiosity I posted 5 star review on another company & Trustpilot did not remove it! Crazy! Their actions are clearly FRAUDULENT! They should be investigated. They undermine the Fair consumers act. After Reading so many other reviews complaining on the same pls everyone do something about this Abuse
Trust Pilot works for the Businesses. When I click the link, they want my email, account number, full name and phone number. Sure your review needs to be legit because competitors should not be able to write bad reviews about their competitors but neither should your lenders and corporations have to know who writes the reviews about them. You should be able to prove yourself to trust pilot as legitimate. I though tell the truth and there is no defamation in the truth so I cannot be scared away. I just don't like giving out my account number and phone number because that is PII.
How can I trust the reviews of Trust Pilot, if 70% of my honest reviews were removed, even if I provided evidence of purchase? It's almost as if TP want people to be scammed by companies. I'm not surprised companies provide a TP link for their reviews, when bad scores are deleted.
I gave purchase information including attachments, which they still didn't care about and removed my negative review of a dishonest internet company. If they have Trust in their name, why won't they allow real reviews?
I don't write reviews often only when it's amazing experience or really bad.
But I realised all my bad experience was removed on Trustpilot, several times I sent a proof of experience, but reviews never been published!
I had left a positive review for a Company that I had dealt with once. I realised 2 months later that my review had been deleted. I contacted Trustpilot and asked why the review was deleted. They claimed they were not allowed to inform me of such but that their software could tell if a review was left by an employee or friend of the Company. I had no such relationship with the Company. Trustpilot were rude and stated they would not discuss the matter any further and that it was closed.
I have now deleted all my reviews and my Trustpilot account. I am also advising any Companies that use Trustpilot of how untrustworthy they are.
Reviews are selected based on how much companies probably pay to keep only positive feedback. I found extremely positive reviews on companies that I applied with turned out to be scams or had 'weird' staff selection standards, i. E. Lindamood-Bell, where I have been beyond humiliated after having passed the first interview.
They removed my bad review from their platform
"Your review of bittrex.com has been flagged by our software or our Content Integrity Team because we've been unable to verify its authenticity. That means we've removed your review from our platform."
Merchants pay them to only let positive reviews through their system
We have used Trustpilot for quite a while now, but not any more, extremely disappointed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, we as a business, have struggled financially like many others, and having asked them for a little time to settle our 'one and only' outstanding invoice, they have instead chosen to engage the services of a debt collection agency to recover this amount. Thanks for your understanding and 'customer loyalty' Trustpilot, guess we wont be using your services any more.
Anyone believing Trustpilot is a legimit review site should educate themselves. They will, and have, placed numerous obstacles to my recent service quality complaint against e-ita. Even after providing them with copies of the correspondence they have deleted the authentic review. Hopefully others will see Trustpilot for the scam it is and no longer use their fraudulent site.
The ironically named Trustpilot is a total sham. You are not permitted to list the names, titles or even the initials of any company representatives that you interacted with during the course of your experience with a given business. All of this information is public and yet they don't permit you to share it. Remove it, however, and your review may be declined because you can't prove that you had dealings with the business you're reviewing. Of course your review may be hidden or deleted for a variety of other reasons as well - all of which exist for the sole benefit of the business. The end result is a heavily censored collection of reviews that fail to paint a complete and accurate picture of the collection of personal experiences consumers have had with a given business.
Wrote an honest review about my experience with company travelup. Guess what they removed it. It was a honest account detailing my experience and advice it others. I've heard they get paid by companies to pull down bad reviews. Me thinks it's true. I reposted on sitejabber and review is still up. Well done sitejabber
I used to trust trustpilot before they took my review down even after I provided clear proof of the situation.
They favor huge companies over the general person.
If your review is positive it will not be taken down but if it is negative then it will be investigated and taken down even if you provide clear proof.
SH*T review site.
Looks like a genuine binary trading platform. It's very easy to deposit and withdraw your money and trading conditions are nice as well.quotex is best broker. The best thing is that it makes deposit and withdrawal very fast"
They work for the companies and will do everything they can to take down bad reviews. I provided proof of receipt and everything and they still ended up claiming I was not a real customer. Total scam review site.
I lost £400 to a company that had excellent reviews. After having a bad experience and leaving a bad review. The company flagged up my bad review and trust pilot removed it without hesitation. I tried many times to have the review reinstated. I even contacted trustpilot. And they refused to provide me with a reason of why my review was removed.
Trust pilot is the biggest scam on the internet. They remove bad reviews and only show the good and not so bad ones. And companies have to pay to be member. If all they let all thier members receive bad reviews. They'd be out of business.
It's not in thier best interest to let thier member have damaging bad reviews.
Very good alternative resource for consumers to provide real feedback on traders, and importantly, unlike some other 'review' websites do not remove feedback that a trader does not like. They also allow feedback for any trader or company and do not limit feedback only to consumers who have had direct dealings with the trader/company or to traders that have paid to be listed on what is effectively a 'fake' review site, but in reality is a trader promotion listing site.

I started to sign up & unfortunately gave them my email address, then decided, "I better research these guys". Well, in the middle of research, the emails started coming and never stopped (to sign up) and "all the benefits" yada yada yada. This is the type business I learned (as a child) of which to steer very clear. Now if I can just get them to stop writing all that stupid spam. Amateurs it seems.
They only post what the company that gets the review let's them post they must have some kind of deal worked.out with these companies.get.paid off or whatever is going on. When I post bad reviews about big.companies they will not post them.and call me a liar, small sites or companies they could.care less. So you only get to.see what they want you to see so the sote is BS based on that I don't trust it anymore.
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
