I have had past dealings with 2 companies who are now well known to be fraudulent traders. One is Kayafx and the other Cryptopremier.
I decided to do a review on Trustpilot.com so as to warn future would-be investors but this got returned as an unsubstantiated review and the would not publish it. I have heaps of evidence and offered to show it to them but I never got a reply at all. I believe that they work in conjunction with some fraudsters to try to make them legitimate.
Fortunately sitejabber seems to be honest and trustworthy.
We have a leaking washer. It has taken over 5 weeks with no resolution. The tech as well as Choice give me different answers and promises each time I call. They do not return calls. The just called me and I started to explain what has been going on and she hung up on me. I think they are a scam I will notify the State as well as BBB and let me know how awful the company is. They collect their money up front but you never get things fixed.
Trustpilot is paid by the company that you review to source and maintain reviews. This naturally creates a conflict of interest. Trustpilot reaches out after a year and demands proof to keep negative reviews published, knowing that after a year they are very unlikely to get a response, especially with 'proof'. This is a dirty tactic ensuring very few negative reviews remain published.
I complained about Boss revolutions Promo code scam. And I tried to forward the e mail but they have unreachable e mail. But asking me for reference number which doesn't exist. I attached the e mail I got where by boss revolution admitted their mistake.
Unethical sales process, they get you in and then 1 year later bump up the price by 8x (800%) without fair notice. Then make it difficult to cancel.
Try calling their customer support line before you sign up... hours on hold... that will tell you all you need to know about how much they care about their customers.
I had an issue with a website for something I was going to make a purchase from. Trustpilot posted, them removed my comment, because I 'didn't interact with the company. So I gave them information again, and more, and more. They still didn't like it. So now a company can continue on it's deceptive way and the consumer is not any wiser. Bad website.
I wrote a negative review about an internet company, it's was visible when I was logged in but when I used a private window, it didn't show my review. Later, the internet company flagged it down because the company reported my review so they can take it down. This kind of behavior immediately voids the purpose of writing reviews if only positive reviews are allowed.
Trustpilot is run and influenced by companies such as nextdaydeals, which overcharge ordinary hard working people by hundreds of pounds just because they can take advantage of their situation.
If you write a truthful account of nextdaydeals, they will have their donkey ( trustpilot) to immediately take it down before the public can see the truth.
Trustpilot has a very poor and negative score amongst British people, so that's one good thing, and it's going to get worse.
I left a review for major courier DPD. It stated delivery on time but driver non communicative just thrusting parcel at me. Customer Service lacking.
The review was invited by email I clicked the link and reviewed. It was removed as a fake review stating, If I disagree reply to email and explain why. I sent images of package and label with my name on and address. I had a reply It was because I have used multiple accounts and its against their policy.
I replied I don't have multiple accounts you email me ask me to review and I do. I have multiple emails I use for different suppliers they invite to the email used to purchase with I click link and leave review and I stated I suspected they were paid to remove reviews not 100% favourable. I then got a further email stating that they don't disclose why they have removed them to which I replied, well you already have and its obvious to me that it is a paid service to corporate clients to remove feedback they don't like.
Trustpilot is a contradiction in terms, no trust whatsoever, absolute joke of a site, I wrote a negative review about a furniture company in Yorkshire and the review was instantly taken down by trustpilot because the vendor reported the review, I was not the only reviewer to have my review removed because this vendor complained, there's about 20/30 reviews that are being "looked" into, the vendor is obviously very questionable but is being supported by trustpilot simply because they pay a subscription whereas I don't, I will not be posting reviews on mis-trustpilot ever again as they simply only work for their paying subscribers and have no interest in telling the truth... absolutely disgusted!
The site removes negative reviews at the request of the company's owners. And if you still use the paid services of the site Trustpilot.com they will write you more good reviews. Fake portal, which is not worth paying attention to. A rating of zero stars, one star, that's a lot for them.
Garden buildings direct
Never order from this company the wood has so many holes in it once our builder had put it up I asked for a refund and they replied we don't give refunds even if it's not fit for purpose.
No roof windows missing cannot we are still waiting for missing windows
After 6 wrong deliveries.
3 months if stress and still not fit for purpose. This company should never be allowed to advertise on the interenet.
They won't come and pick it up give me a refund and acuse us over the phone that it's our fault. The wood had holes and the wrong parts have been delivered 6 times and we are still awaiting?
Never never use this company they are cowboys selling products that are not fit for purpose! Photos included.
This site is the KING of all thieves. They get paid to remove negative reviews. Every time I post a negative review about a business, within 15 minutes it is removed telling me that their software flagged it as suspicious. Really? You have God or angels working on your side who can just tell lby looking at the review that the review is suspicious. Please stay away from this site and do not trust their reviews. 5 star reviews never get deleted, but only negative reviews get deleted. This site is another YELP.
I truthfully and accurately reviewed 5 companies (one hotel, one guitar store, two software companies and a printing service) and gave them positive reivews for the most part. Ive had slight issues (price increases, etc) with two of them and i factually called those out. None of my reviews were less than three stars. I got an email from trust pilot not even 30 min later saying my reviews were removed and my account had been DELETED because they think i lied about them. I can easily prove I work with and have been to all of the businesses i reviewed. But because my reviews were not insane, negative and filled with clearly false information, trust pilot removed them. They cant charge the company to improve their rating if they have decent ratings i guess... such a scam. Going to the BBB with this.
Their reviews of 1StopBedrooms were extremely misleading. They seemed to be flawless. Now I know why. I was unable to submit a review of 1StopBedrooms after my purchase [when nearly everything arrived destroyed] because of the unprofessional behavior of 1StopBedrooms customer service. They threatened to take back all of the furniture and only grant a 40% refund if I didn't take the review down. When I finally received the last of the furniture replacements 13 months later, I submitted my long overdue review. It was no longer able to be posted because the purchase was made over 12 months ago. I explained the situation and have plenty of emails to support my claims, but they would not post my review.
Trustpilot is FULL of fake positive reviews. Eg see EVRI(Hermes) a company absolutely notorious for its incompetence and dishonesty gets a rating of 4 plus. The positive reviews are bunched and simplistic. You can go for days with dozens of reviews absolutely all one star and then a bunch of 5 stars appear. The positive are all 5 stars virtually no 3 or 4, a most unlikely distribution? Evri pay Trustpilot and he who pays the Pilot calls the tune.
Trustpilot is garbage. They kept taking down my review and refused to tell me why. I initially provided them a copy of an invoice from the company I was reviewing in order to verify my business relationship with them. I received a response from "Nadine S." thanking me, and stating that they WERE able to verify my review and that they had reactivated it. So that email essentially declared that my review was totally legit. The problem was that they didn't reactivate my review at all. Numerous further emails went unanswered, and finally, a response came from the same person (Nadine S.) saying, "Upon reinvestigating the case we've seen that your review should stay offline as it contravenes our guidelines." Then it goes on to say, "Please rest assured that we would only take this action when multiple parameters show that a review is fake." So I went from being fake initially, to legit, and then fake again. Why was it declared fake? I'll never know, because she said in her obviously copied/pasted email to me, "To protect the integrity of our platform, unfortunately, we cannot give you specific details about why your review has been removed." So essentially they're saying to me, "You're review is fake, and you can't question us. We're simply done with you." And it ends with "Kind regards..." This is NOT a trustworthy company. Trustpilot is clearly in the manipulation business.
I had my genuine reviews edited and or removed from TrustPilot, in addition they will propagate fraudulent sites with multiple Good ratings only to enhance the scams and illegal activities that these sites are involved in (usually money and solicitation related). Please do not use TrustPilot, and please expose them at every corner or this will get worse and worse.
Recently been scammed by a Crypto trading company who use the fake positive reviews on Trust Pilot to sucker customers in. Left 2 negative reviews after losing a large sum of money and both were immediately removed for no reason. Clearly being paid by these companies to just have positive fake reviews. Don't Trust Pilot……
90% of the reviews on trust pilot are bought and paid for. They know it and encourage it. Most positive reviews are posted shortly after a negative review in quick succession.
Small unknown companies have 50k+ reviews seriously warning label right there. If I see a trust pilot rating be flouted I automatically assume the company is shady now.
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
Trustpilot has a rating of 1.2 stars from 1,104 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases.
