They deleted all my reviews, positive and negative, after leaving a bad one about a big phone company. To be more precise, they banned my account deleting all the reviews in it. They didn't even bother telling me, I found out myself months later.
Is this an acceptable behavior from a company that blathers on about ethics?
Not at all in my opinion.
Trustpilot was a Danish site in the beginning. It worked as it should. They published reviews. Over the years Trustpilot started deleting review due to business complains. Now the are terrible deleting profiles. They just call it spam when the content do not fit. Trustpilot isn't any longer what it was, why the rhetoric "trust" just don't apply anymore. 1 star for a scam buisness in my opinion. Complain trustpilot, you just got a mild version of my opinion of you.
I've had my account for quite some time. 63 reviews and a 64th added yesterday which was removed due to apparent perceived issues. A 5 star review for a watch company I purchased from. I even sent Trash Pilot my receipt and still the review was deleted. They can shove my help right up their behinds. Deleted my account and won't use them again.
If you want to vent and rant, go vent on Talk Life Ltd's Vent App or A Private Anonymous Vent Space.
Not anywhere on Trustpilot.
I rarely review and gave a very good review of SCS which they have removed unless I send verification of purchase which I won't do as I won't send a receipt that shows address, payment details etc. It also says proof of
Purchase optional.
Ridiculous
They are full of $#*!. Supporting scam and spam companies by deleting legit reviews. Account got deleted because suspicion as i was bot, leaving negative reviews. Basically, if you use less than 3 stars your reviews is gonna be deleted.
Trustpilot isn't trustworthy for consumers, it's for companies to buy Trustpilot plans in order to control their reviews. EDreams is not a company it's a scam but after writing my review to warn others about their scam, Trustpilot sent me an email representing eDreams questioning the validity of my review. Now I know: Trustpilot is no different than Yelp (who also solicits business to pay to remove bad reviews and stop hiding good ones.)
Trustpilot scrubbed my review from eyes of internet readers. I a person of colour no less. Review about contabo a german hosting company. I provided supporting documentation to bolster credibility of my review of contabo. Review to date they not reinstated, and they ceased contact with me. Trustpilot ceo was contacted by I, and shown stuff and shows as CEO read my email. Abundantly clear to me, Trustpilot paid by the germans to remove my review, if not so, then contabo review shouldn't be off their site!
Looks like a genuine binary trading platform. It's very easy to deposit and withdraw your money and trading conditions are nice as well.quotex is best broker. The best thing is that it makes deposit and withdrawal very fast"
I have had multiple negative reviews removed by Trustpilot even after pictures and evidence have been sent, they are clearly corrupt and are being paid by companies to remove truthful and honest reviews, they will now give me no reason at all as to why they removed my latest review of EVRI who we all know as Hermes "simply renamed", after my parcel turned up late, opened, and relieved of its contents, the courier can clearly be seen on CCTV throwing the package on the porch and doing a runner. Trustpilot can not be trusted.
Often, I've had experiences where I left a 1-star review for a certain company, and Trustpilot would take it down because the company I left a bad review for asked them to do so. What's the point of leaving a 1-star review if any company can just come to them and say it's not legit, and they'll take it down? I'd say look for alternatives; you won't get a real picture of companies if their reviews can be rigged as they please.
Thanks.
I have wrote A few reviews for trustpilot. They suspended my account and told me that they found that I was getting paid to write these reviews. I will tell you how wrong that is. I'm trying to get paid for writing reviews! I am not yet! Nobody is paying me for their stupid reviews. Trustpilot is a lying, manipulative, loser site that only lets people who are getting paid leave reviews. I know of a chick who got paid by two different casinos to leave a review and her reviews are still up! I did not get one red dime, nor did I ask for any money, nor am I being supported or endorsed by anybody that I have left with you for! So, trust pilot, I hope you realize that you are wrong and I will make sure that another review site is able to plateau yours. Better yet, make a molehill out of you. You are absolute morons for taking down the authentic reviews.
Just read this article about them: https://www.seotraininglondon.org/can-you-trust-trustpilot/
Better yet, check the Better Business Bureau, they currently have 1.8 stars there. Trust Pilot uses Review Gating and other corrupt techniques to help flailing businesses. They invite people who they think had positive experiences with the company to give a review to help a flailing business, such as Ancestry.com. This company was underwater and in the last few years from overzealous website changes. In the past few days, weeks and months, they have thousands of 5 star reviews, many of them marked "invited". Nothing special changed with Ancestry, they destroyed their website with new changes that make it more difficult to manage and give you carpal tunnel from all the clicks required now. You can see other sites that have poor reviews elsewhere will have good reviews on Trust Pilot. They have gone the way of corruption and letting corporation buy reviews, as most leftist/woke organizations have done. We can't have truth today with liberals, we must lie to people to force an outcome. Frankly, I stopped voting Democrat after this cancel culture/woke craze. I want my country back!
There's no Trust in Trustpilot
In the high-octane world of business and personal development, where integrity and transparency are as vital as the air we breathe, my recent encounter with Trustpilot left a sour taste that no amount of sugar coating can sweeten. Picture this: I engaged in a genuine transaction with SuccessResources, investing not just my money but my faith in their 3Day seminar in Amsterdam, and then I shared my authentic experience on Trustpilot.
What happens next? Trustpilot slaps my company with a label of, pay attention - Selling fake reviews -, a claim as baseless as accusing a bird of talking!
We are a registered Educational Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, nothing to do with selling fake reviews.
Despite arming myself with indisputable proof of my participation (yes, an invoice that's as real as the ground you walk on), Trustpilot stood unmoved, as if my genuine attempt at clarity was invisible to them.
Not one to retreat without a fight, I aimed another arrow of truth by reviewing Trustpilot itself, sharing my experience. The irony? This review was flagged as fake.
Despite presenting a fortress of evidence, including screenshots and case numbers (Ticket number: ******* is one of them) my truth was dismissed, tossed aside like yesterday's news.
This ordeal wasn't just an eye-opener but a clear call to all seekers of genuine feedback platforms: Trustpilot, in its current state, seems more like a court of kangaroos, where evidence leaps through hoops only to be dismissed into the void!
Everyone should question to seek transparency, and to demand a platform where our voices, backed by solid proof, are respected and acknowledged. Trustpilot, in this instance, failed to measure up to these standards, leaving a trail of questions about its commitment to genuine, unadulterated feedback..
Everytime I write a nagative reviews the remove it and if its posative tey dont I think they shoul change there name to Untrustpilot! I send proof and they still said no sorry we remove it and I think they getting pay for removing it!?
Took my reviews down as accusing me of fake ones. Try get an answer is a joke. They have been bought by Packlink & as corrupt as each other
I left honest reviews about Spanish thieves packlink.
They cried to (un)Trustpilot who bowed to corporate pressure & removed them. Now stopped me reviewing! You can't talk to them they hide behind emails, taking days to answer. Stinks of corruption & they are woke busybodies. Shame on Trustpilot, no such thing as free speech
Invited to review SmartBuyGlasses. Quality not there, prescription wrong - or to give them benefit of the doubt they failed to understand it or seek more information as it contained a prism. SmartBuyGlasses begin to hassle me to remove the review. I refuse because, well, by then I'd had a correct, cheaper pair of glasses at far better quality from another (Chinese) company. Since then have purchased many more. Trustpilot removes the review, I rewrite it, pointing out the review was invited so hardly likely to be scammy. That's removed, as is my positive review of the other company. Trustpilot is so easily manipulated buy ilarge companies and presumably get paid for invited reviews that it is a conflict of interest, a waste of consumer time at best, and fraudulent misrepresentation at worst. Plus, for every negative review from these large companies many positive reviews from people with zero review history appear. I have 175 reviews - or had until Trustpilot removed a few.
Extremely disappointed with Trustpilot for allowing fraudulent companies to prey on innocent consumers. I paid for a service that was never delivered, and when I tried to leave an honest review on Trustpilot, it was removed without explanation. It's clear that Trustpilot cares more about protecting its bottom line than protecting consumers from scams. I will never trust this website again, and I urge others to beware of its deceptive practices. Trustpilot is a sham that prioritizes profit over people. Shame on them
Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
