Sent several cards and paid for out of pocket shipping to this company. Received an email indicating would only be receiving less than half of the original indicated value. Have been waiting almost 3 months for the payment. Unable to get any response via email or phone. Pending payment is all that is indicated. Company does not get back to you after receiving the cards & will not send you payment. This company is a complete scam.DO NOT be scammed with this company as I was.
Bought 500 dollars worth of products from them just to have nothing delivered
They ended up tagging my account as fraud because apparently they claimed they were charged import tax on my behalf and instead of charging me chose to give me nothing instead

Use to love Troll and Toad. Card prices use to be pretty competitive with other sites - that's less so now. Shipping I swore use to go MUCH faster though. I could order with normal shipping through Troll and Toad and often get my cards within a week. My last order I picked expedited shipping which when I ordered said the earliest I'd get my order is the 28th (today) BUT IT'S BEEN 3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS AND MY ORDER IS STILL "Being Packed" AND HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN SHIPPED! Cards use to be shipped generally within a day! It's been that way the last few times I've ordered through them where it's taken about a week before even sending my order out.
Unfortunately I am rating this site extremely bad after sending in a batch of pokemon cards including extremely vintage cards that fit the criteria of their near mint condition page and was told I had to pay a return shipping fee to have it sent back to me even thought they said it was in not good enough condition for them. Also, all the cards I sent in were cards FRESHLY PULLED FROM THE PACKS. Totally disgusting and would not recommend buying or selling from these people. They literally take your pokemon cards and then go sell the ones they said they could not buy from you. They are STEALING peoples money by having them send there cards in. What a joke and a ripoff.
They don't actually bother to buy stuff that is on their buylist. Don't bother buying or selling with these guys.
Even stuff they have 0 in stock of, and list as selling for a lot, they won't buy. Not even will make an offer for a pittance!
I didn't want much, I know they probably need high profit margins to keep going. But not even an offer of $5 offer for an item they could sell for $40. Their buylist claims they will give you $26 for that $40 mini, and that they want two of them. So I sent them what they clearly needed/wanted! It was on their f'in list!
I wasn't even expecting the full amount since the card is missing. But no, not even an offer for one fifth of the expected sale value!
These guys are useless trolls, who waste your time. Not a single mini I sent in they 'wanted'. Somehow I doubt their sorters did anything at all.
If they don't want to carry miniatures and resell them, they should stop bothering to claim on their website that they want any of the stuff. I wouldn't blame them for wanting to focus on bigger moneymakers like MTG, but they at least should have the decency to admit they no longer want to be in the business of selling miniatures. At least have the decency to change their website to show they don't want to buy the stuff anymore, just sell whatever they have left and then drop the product.

I had recently sent in a buylist order which included ultra rare cards, as they were not listed I provided them as super rares which are less in value. Upon receipt of my order Troll and Toad took their time processing it at least 5 business days, then sent me a modified buylist which was $25 less than I had originally been quoted. Stating that they were not accepting Ultra rares, however, instead of returning my ultra rares, they simply docked my payment the $25 dollars and kept them. When I confronted them about this issue they simply ignored my emails. I suggest people who want to sell their bulk go elsewhere so you are not ripped off like I was. I have found better bulk buyers on TCG bulk kings where you can even find buyers who will trade you sealed product instead of these losers who prefer to rip people off
I've had bad experiences in the past with them not protecting cards well they ship but I figured since this was a book I'd give them a shot because I managed to find it there $10 cheaper there than ebay and other competitors. They had two in stock. Nearly a month later my order had not arrived. I checked the tracking # they gave me and it had not been dropped off at the post office. I emailed them and they emailed back saying it must have been lost in the mail (dont know how considering it was never dropped off) and they would do a replacement. I got an email saying the replacement was cancelled due to inventory issues and I would be refunded.
Clearly there was an issue from the beginning. Why didn't they contact me and refund my money immediately? Were they just going to keep my money if I hadn't contacted them? There were two in stock supposedly. Will I see them up on ebay for market price soon? T&T has a reputation for cancelling orders and jacking up prices to current market.
I think the biggest slap in the face was the offer for a whopping 5% off my next order as compensation. The order was for $15. So even if I were to purchase an item of similar value from them, it would save me a whole $0.75. I could have had the item in my hands by now but instead I let them hang onto my money for a month for a joke of a coupon that I will never use because I don't trust them enough to order from them again.
From Canada. Bought vintage Pokémon cards in "near mint" condition, but only about 10% were actually near mint in my opinion. 90% had lots of scratches on the holofoil and should be classified anywhere from lightly to heavily played. I was not satisfied with the quality of the cards and called T&T customer service. They told me they would give me a full refund for the cards I wasn't satisfied with if I filled in the form on their website, and would even cover return shipping if I included a shipping receipt. They seemed pretty lax on returns, probably because a lot of people complained about this before, since most people don't read their condition guidelines, which has a rather low standard for near mint cards. So I sent back the cards... without tracking, because I figured I would be nice to save them money since they were going to cover return shipping. The courier told me it should arrive in a month, but I waited for 2 months. No refund. So I called T&T customer service again 3 times within a week but nobody picked up. I ended up sending an email to which they responded, telling me they haven't received my package. But 2 weeks after that I did get a full refund as promised, so I guess the courier was just delayed. Moral of the story is to include tracking.
TLDR: My purchase experience was full of ups and downs but ended up being fine as I got a few cards I wanted at near mint condition at a decent price, but as a collector I would not bother with T&T again as there are too many things that can go wrong and the hassle was probably not worth it.
I am very disappointed with this company. They have streamlined the process of taking your items, but when it comes to payment expect complications. I have been playing phone tag with them for two days now trying to find out, why I haven't received my payment of the items I sent in, per their parameters. Making sure items in the package, both unit items and cards, were in the specified order and within the expected 10 day delivery time frame. I was content in making sure I followed all instructions, believing a business with such "set in stone" processes could be trusted to uphold their end of the business engagement. But I was wrong. I first would check for updates on their website and saw my items were received and confirmed. I called in and a representative told me my check should be sent within 5-7 days. When I didn't receive the check in that time frame I called again and my call was forwarded to voicemail twice. This is when I started questioning the company's legitimacy. So I did a google search and found trollandtoad should ship paper checks via USPS w/in 7-10 business days. So I waited to see if things would rectify. 20 days later and my account still lists payment as pending. I am extremely frustrated bc while the amount to be paid out isn't that steep, in this economic climate, I was and still am dependent on the funds to come in, which they still haven't. I called again to get an update on my transaction only to be told by the rep, oh we were out of the warehouse, so we couldn't send your check. My question to him in response was how were you able to receive, confirm reception and confirm the condition of the items sent in, to your warehouse, but the process fell apart at payment? He proceeded to give me canned responses that every call center rep uses, I know bc I did their job at one time in my life, so I asked to speak with management. He stops talking for a long time and then some woman begins tali8ng on his line, no introduction, no identifying statements so I don't even know if she was management, but she proceeds to tell me the same canned statements, never answering my question how they can confirm, the items I sent to the warehouse, while not in the warehouse, but they can't send out my check. I asked if there was any way to expedite the process since the complications were on their end not my own, to which she responded no. No empathy, just no. I am very disappointed in the treatment/handling of my transaction and will never do business with this company past this transaction again. Expect this review to be "copy and pasted" on all social media platforms.

Sold some cards to them, valuing almost $300, and the suddenly claimed they were too damaged and are now offering me less than $100. Been 4 days since then, and still no money. DO NOT TRUST!
If I could give them no stars I would. I would give them negative stars. The most absolute worst company I have ever done business with. I am a Yugioh collector and rare cards of many sorts collector and when I say I have thousands and thousands and thousands worth of rare cards that would be just a sample of what I have just to give you an idea. All near mint PSA 9 to 10 graded cards. My collection is worth easily 50k to 100k plus in the big bucks. That's irrelevant but bringing me back to the fact that I have spent hundreds and hundreds and hundreds just at Troll and Toad just to have near mint cards get sent to me in light play to heavily played condition when I bought nm stated cards. I get beat around the bush over and over and over again by their customer service. It is a never ending book. They take my review down on their website as I am logged in my account. These are the absolute worst individuals I have ever seen running a trading card game company. A absolute mess. I have tried to post my reviews elsewhere and they keep getting taken down. Ebay is way much more easier and way more trusting than these clowns that call themselves Troll and Toad. Don't believe step right up and take a chance with such a crap company. Even my sealed package came already opened. The sealed cards in the packs and booster pack already opened. And someone sealed with glue and you could absolutely tell they had rigged it up to make it look like it was normal. This is not ok and I hope this review will help you.
Very very sketchy business practice by Troll and Toad. I mailed them around 60 cards, most of which were in good or great condition. They graded the cards the same day the package was delivered and it was only 40% of the quoted order total and never contacted me about the grade of individual cards to explain why so low. Almost 10 days after I still have yet to receive the payment or be contacted. I Can't attest buying from them but never sell your cards to these scammers! They are selling your cards for 3-4x the price they give you and it's a horrible drawn out process to get paid on top of it. Use at your own risk!
I ordered from Troll and Toad 6 months ago before I went to Army basic and AIT, just found out they never delivered my box and can only give me credit for their store as you cant be refunded after 6 months... now the box is 2.5x the price. :/ Lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful and did not even try to see if the box could be found.
Shipping does not start.
Trollandoad is always moving warehouses.
It takes 2~3 weeks to start shipping.
There is no compensation for this.

I ordered 80 heroclix figures. I received 13 Yugioh cards. They blamed the mistake on someone outside of the company "switching the packing slips". The packing slip I received said 80 items.
Had to argue with them fkr a few days for a refund. They decided to credit me and I ordered a second time. This time their stock was super limited so I missed out on almost 50% of the characters I ordered originally. I picked all my figures, they took a few days to ship. Then when they finally did ship they sent me an email along with shipping notice, the email said that some of the characters I requested were missing.
How could this company possible be this unorganized? Definitely will not be ordering from them ever again
I got 21 trading cards from troll and toll and they sent me 18 out of the 21 cards wrong it took over one month for them to send me a refund that I didnt even wanna to begin with all I just wanna was my order to be sent to me correctly!
They have no customer service this is the worse company i have ever done business with I called them 3 days strait 5 times a day and nobody ever answered the phone it takes them forever to answer a email back and when they do answer they dont do what they promise you.

Have purchased multiple times from this company that provides so many things it'll make your head spin! They sell at an arguably low price which is why I assume there are low reviews from what I guess are flippers. Great site I have used and will continue too!
Ive been buying and buylisting trading cards for years now and have never been treated this badly. Took them the maximum amount of time (10 days because i emailed them and even that took a long time for them to respond) to even get the order to the processor then took the processor 3 days to check a 38 card order witch is super small in this world only for them to reject the cards based on condition most sites dont offer the choice to grade themselves because people dont often do a very good job but as this is part of what i do to support myself im pretty good at it and the majority of my order was at worst Lightly played + with a few exceptions being Moderatly played and they have a grading scale based on condition so for them to say that the cards are just too damaged to buy after making me wait for almost 3 weeks and have to wait for them to return the cards is ridiculous. I understand that were in the middle of a pandemic and times are tough but ive buylisted to one of there competitors Card Kingdom (im not affiliated with them in any way) a lot recently and my average time waiting for payment including shipping is about 6 days and half of that is shipping this took a 3 days for shipping a day to get checked in and then 2 weeks to even get to the processor and 3 days to be checked just to be turned down is ridiculous
Twice they cancelled my order. One in 11/19 and one this month (9/24/2020). It took a week and half to notify me that my order was cancelled. I reached out to customer service and was told the following: We are terribly sorry for this. "We do have over a million items in our inventory however we try to be as accurate as possible! Inventory errors can occur, at the same time human and keying errors occur. When this happens our standard procedure is to issue a refund for the cost of the items you purchased. Unfortunately we cannot determine there is any missing items until your order is pulled". I'm sorry but you poor inventory management system is not my problem. You are in the business of selling cards one would think you have the ability to track your inventory. But hey they offered me another 5% coupon code, what a joke. Please do not buy from Troll & Toad. My assumption is they kept the card knowing the increase the value and is trying to sell it at a higher price.
Had a great experience with troll and toad, they paid me exactly what i was quoted. My packaged arrived there on a tuesday and i was paid wednesday, the very next day. I read a lot of negative reviews about them and was nervous but I have to say it must have been people who did not follow the guidelines or sent in damaged product. I would 100% sell/buy from them again. Great experience 10/10
