I booked a one-way shuttle ride to an airport. I received a confirmation but it did not contain the time the shuttle would arrive. The next morning, no follow up confirmation. I called trip advisor but the automated system said to call the vendor. I called the vendor. There was no reservation but trip advisor did keep the $45 Payment. When I cancelled a shuttle reservation that did not exist, they kept my money. Will never use their service again.

I appreciate that they publish all reviews, positive and negative, so you get a good sense of what people think of a hotel or other business. I hardly ever look at guidebooks anymore because I find tripadvisor more reliable. In contrast, I posted a moderately negative review of a hotel on Agonda (along with other positive ones) and Agonda didn't publish it. I think Tripadvisor would publish it and give the owner a chance to respond, which is much more helpful and consumer-friendly.

I have been using the TripAdvisor website since it has been out, and it has quickly gained full of resources by millions of users. The best part is, it is reviewed by real people who have actually visited the sites and hotels thus providing the best suggestions one can find. A brilliant idea that deserves a big applause.

I have used TripAdvisor to get information about other countries. It gives you all of the information. They explain about weather, shopping, culture and the people. Hints are given on clothes to wear based on the time of year and climate. The different religions of the country, proper things to do and not do. You can find anything you need to know about planning your trip to any country in the world, hotels, taxis, buses, airports and if you need assistance hospitals and police are listed for cities in the country.

I always use this trip advisor for my family tripe. This website really helped me to get a best tripe experience along with family. Their tripe suggestions are always very good and useful for us. TripAdvisor is just one of the best sites around as I write reviews on this site as I do with SiteJabber. When I travel around and I write reviews as to where I have been and all things associated with the trip. You will find this site just as important as you do Sitejabber. I recently booked a flight online with Faregeek. Shortly after I needed to change my flights. When I called to do so I was told there would be a $397 charge. After asking why I was told there was a $200 change fee and the rest was for a seat price difference. I was confused because there were several flights on line that were the same price as the ones I booked. After asking a few questions the man I spoke with was very rude and told me that, that was what I would have to pay. I asked if I could cancel. He said I could but that there was a $295 re booking fee. The customer service I received was terrible. I am very upset and will never be booking with this company again.
